This is the deli inside the International Food Market. The food is excellent, they made it fresh right in front of you after you order. Note that this is not a sit-down spot and it's only for takeout which worked out for us since we were doing a picnic. The only nit is that I realized that there was food missing after I got to the destination. It's not that I expect perfection and how they respond after a mess up is more important. They were very apologetic when I called and issued a credit which is all I expected. I wish them the very best.

This kabob spot is located in grocery store. They are solid. The kabobs are usually juicy. We usually get beef koobideh and chicken breast and thighs chunks. The staff is always friendly.

Extremely poor customer service and experience here tonight! I stopped by to try this place for the first time and stood there right in front of the cashier as if she did not see me at all. She then walked away and the cook (maybe owner?) gestured at her. She finally took my order and told me 15 minutes. I waited about 20 minutes before asking them about my order. I wished there was some kind of check in or letting me know it is running late, or at least an apology. She then rang me up to pay and said to call next time. No apologies and absolutely zero customer service or care. The ones that received the best service were people of similar backgrounds. This is not okay! The meal was fine, but the service was so rude that I will not be returning. The generous portion is the rice underneath, which is about 4 cups of cooked rice.

Was craving for a koobideh rice plate and the usual spot we've been going to for years in SJ closed. The good thing about SJ is there are a lot of options. We saw this listing and was intrigued by the casual nature and the prices being relatively cheaper. If it wasn't already said, this is located inside the International Food Bazaar Market. Very casual, no tables. You just order, wait, grab your food and eat it somewhere else. The prices are cheaper than sit down places that serve the same cuisine--which should be expected. You save on that and tip so there is significance savings. With that said, does the food compare? We got the Koobideh Kabob plate that comes with 1 koobideh. And 1 falafel wrap. So I've eaten plenty of Koobideh kabob plates for years so I got a good idea. Nothing wrong with the one here, but it just wasn't near the top of my list. Heck, I would say it ranks the least in my Koobideh places I've ate it. Granted this is the cheapest and most casual. Again, im not saying its bad, it's just there are plenty of places that do it better. The meat was flavorful but was a bit drier. Also the portion was significantly smaller. Big plus though was the included grilled veggies--yes I know most places do come with these, but surprised to see the amount and quality of them were on par if not better than some of the places I would say is better. Plenty of basmati rice, and again due to the small portion, you are left with a lot more rice. But the rice was fine. As for the falafel wrap, I liked it, it was good, I didnt see any issues with it except that we didnt get the pictured salad which makes the value lower. So yea, this place is fine for a quick fix. If the meat ratio was better and they addressed/didnt forget the salad on the falal wrap--easy 4/5 stars.

If you are on the budget and want quality kabob, This place is by far the best place i have found amongst the middle eastern market. Their kabob is juicy and tasty. They don't add bread to make it taste better and fill you up faster. Area is clean and employees are very polite. I will definitely come back for more.

I loved the food here, especially the kobiedeh plate. Around 15 bucks but I feel like the portion is pretty large. I have been to other places where they give you really small portions for this much money but it was worth it here. The bazaar connected to the place has a lot of variety too - groceries, frozen food, bread, meat shop....Would recommend checking out.
