Picked up rice cakes for Korean Thanksgiving aka Chuseok. Nice packaging and super fresh as the rice cakes were still warm! Cash only.

The rice cake itself seems fine, not dangerous to health. However, the quality and color of the rice cake is relatively lower than normal condition. Especially very disappointed for the edible color materials, which doesn't look tasty and the color of the rice cake is very old-style.Basically, I felt that the rice cake made here is under average quality, and the owner seems not cooperating to customers. The owner seemed like they have their own way of doing business, accepting only cash, etc.

Didn't interact with the owners so wouldn't know about that - but I just tried the rice cakes and they're really good!! Nice to know there are Korean bakeries like this in the Bay Area.

First time I ordered dduk(Korean rice cake) from this establishment, I found the owner very unpleasant. But everybody at the party loved their cake. Yesterday I wanted to order another cake from them and found the owner not only unpleasant but also Very rude. Had to walk out of there without ordering any. Maybe he had a very bad day or was tired but I'm taking my business somewhere else.

We came in at the end of March to order rice cake for our daughter's dol, we were told by the man working there to call a week before and place our order. Today is a week before and we were just told they can't do it and that we should have ordered the rice cakes when we came in. WE TRIED! We even spoke about size what type of dduk we wanted and were told to call them a week prior. I will never reccomend this place to anyone.

I've seen some of their rice cakes at some of the Korean grocery stores in town, so I went over to the address on the packages. Turns out they have a nice little shop, with pictures of cakes and a bunch of rice cakes on display.Their rice cakes are of the high-end variety, (a la EWHA Dang) so they're pricy - $5-6 for 5 pieces, but worth it. I was able to find both brown and black (made with wild rice) cakes here, latter of which I haven't been able to find anywhere else around here. The black rice cakes were very good, lightly chewy and covered in crushed peanuts. They also had brown rice dduk with mugwort powder, which I'll try next. (Maybe make ddukboki with it!)

Lady was very rude on the phone. Their dduk is also overpriced. My mom called and laughed at her for canceling the order.

Very rude owner. I called to the store to get a quote. And he said that ' we don't open that day. So don't get it from here.' What??? Sure I will not. Good bye.I even asked if I can see the design of rice cake for gift. He said NO.I told him I don't mind to pick up previous day if they don't open on the day I need. He said NO.Very rude and inefficient business mind for the store.

We just celebrated my niece's 100th party. I ordered the rice cake and song pyon. Both were very tasty and pretty. I loved the cake decoration we chose. Very simple. Highly recommend this bakery.

We ordered our daughter's a rice cake for 100th days party. The cake is very beautiful and delicate! One little disappointing thing is the letters on the cake is slipping since the surface of the cake is covered by plastic wrap. Other than that we were very much satisfied!
