W XYZ Bar

I was blown away by the great vibe, cool surroundings, and top notch customer service. Very fast and friendly bartender and kitchen manager. Live music on a Thursday! I had a blast with friends sipping wine, eating, and dancing. The pool in the background looks awesome as well. Highly recommend if you are in this area. Hidden gem.

Look, I'm not really qualified to write a review here. I'm staying in the hotel for one night. I wanted a glass of wine at 10pm. I walked to the bar, and the bar was empty. I ordered a glass of wine, and it he bartender made me feel like a VIP. Usually, hotel bartender are bitter MF's. But this guy, whether by accident or on purpose, the bartender made my night.

The night we arrived we went to WXYZ Bar after checking in and taking a rest. The bar/restaurant area has a very Miami-Modern-Deco feel with the all white booths and neon accent lighting. The drinks were great (well balanced), the food was tasty too; we ordered the fish tacos (delicious), white cheddar mac'n'cheese (very creamy) and the bacon cheese fries. The bar manager was great, very personable and so nice with all the patrons. They have TVs in each booth that you could have AirPlayed a show to but unfortunately those weren't working, wish they were, that would have been awesome! If they continue to be unavailable for AirPlay I recommend doing a nice lava screen or something visual.

GHI didn't even know WXYZ was LMNOpen until I went for a Halloween party. I liked it because it felt like three different rooms, one for lounging, one for a dance floor, and one with a bar, and a patio. I'm not sure how it is on a non-Halloween day, so I want to go back and ABC it again. But it seems DEF.

Whether you're a traveler staying at the Aloft Hotel in San Jose or a local looking for a place to enjoy a drink or two and some good food, the WXYZ Lounge in the Aloft Hotel (San Jose-Cupertino) is an excellent venue to consider. Karli, the bartender/host, has created a nice selection of hand-crafted drinks, including her unique "Tantalizing Sunset" or her incredibly refreshing "Twisted Lemonade." Traditional cocktails, as well as a nice selection of beers and wines are also available.The WXYZ Lounge also offers a variety of food options from light appetizers to simple, yet creative dinners. Tonight's "Special" was two handmade egg rolls with an Asian Pork Salad. My wife enjoyed it immensely. My favorite is an above-average cheeseburger with fries.Stop by for a drink, a meal, and some good company. The Lounge is open seven nights a week beginning at 5:00 p.m. (Please note that dinner is not served on Sunday nights.)

I called to see if they served food. The woman said yes. We came to the desk, she pointed us to the bar. We walked 70 feet and the rudest person I've encountered in years told me to leave. I get having a bunch of friends hanging out. Don't be a $hithead to me and my wife. There's restaurants all over that aren't RUDE to people. Applebee's is next door and the people are pleasant.

So this is the $14 drink I ordered at WYZ Aloft hotel.How lousy can it be?!?! I didn't even had a sip and it's already halfway . Never again!!!
