My friend and I made reservations in advance for Palentine's date at VinoVero on Valentine's Day. Although they didn't have a prix fixe menu for the occasion, we expected it to be busy because of the holiday.RESERVATIONSThe restaurant was called ahead of time, and a reservation was confirmed.INTERIORIt is a very cozy and small wine bar and restaurant. Wooden tables and bar seating are available. There are several outdoor tables out front, equipped with space heaters.SERVICEThere were two servers, one of whom was the owner. They were very nice gentlemen who greeted us upon entering and checked on us throughout the entire dining experience. The customer service was exceptional!FOOD & DRINKS VinoVero provided a good selection of wine, and to celebrate our friendship, we both chose a delicious glass of rosé. Unlike the usual sweeter varieties, this rosé was pleasantly dry. The server was thoughtful enough to bring us the bottle and share insights about the wine, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was served fresh, with everything made in-house. We ordered several "For the Table" plates to share, and they were fantastic. As we were waiting for our order, the server brought out an amuse-bouche courtesy of the kitchen. I forget what it was exactly, but it was a mini soup of sort. Complimentary mini red velvet cupcakes were given to each patrons at the end, which was sweet. * Winter Salad (heirloom farm chicories, mandarin walnut, provolone cheese, house dressing, crackers)* Foccacia Bread - The bread is very tasty and made in-house. Because it was Valentine's Day, a chipotle glaze was added during that day's service, which added a kick to the flavor.* Burrata (organic burrata, prosciutto Di Parma, taggiasca olive, crackers) * Nonna Meatballs (house made meatballs, San marzano tomato sauce, parmigiano reggiano)Overall, it was a great first experience. The customer service and food were wonderful. The owner genuinely cares about the patrons and makes an effort to interact with everyone who walks through the doors of VinoVero. My friend and I will definitely return to enjoy more moments at VinoVero.

I stumbled upon this place tonight as I was having an evening walk with a friend and decided to give it a try, thinking it was just a wine bar but it had so many surprisingly delicious items on the menu. It's honestly been a long time since I've been wowed at a restaurant unfortunately, but I have to say tonight that completely changed. Not only was the food so delicious and authentic but the service was even friendlier which really makes it even better. I absolutely loved the fact that it was in a little cozy setting as well, which was very inviting. My friend and I are planning to come back later this week to try the larger dinner items. My background is Sicilian and this owner is from Napoli so I really can appreciate this style of food and recommend it ! A MUST TRY!

Ran into the rudest wait staff person ever here. Gave such an attitude when we were trying to ask for a table and said "do you have a reservation? No? ok BYYYYYYYYE" you know it costs nothing to be nice? Came completely outta nowhere. We were gonna come back but making sure to tell everyone we know here to avoid that place Haha bye

Such a lovely little wine bar in downtown Los Gatos! I came here on a Saturday evening with my partner for a birthday dinner. We didn't have a reservation but luckily there was plenty of seating available when we got there. We decided to get some food to pair with our wine:- Focaccia (4/5): Their focaccia is thicccckkkk! It has a bit of a fried texture to it as well, which I've never seen with focaccia. It is only seasoned with salt and I do wish that it had some more spices to it, but it's good if you want to pair it with other dishes, like the meatballs. - Meatballs (4/5): Can't really go wrong with a classic. It's basically spaghetti and meatballs without the noodles. - Focaccia Salad (5/5): This honestly shocked me. The focaccia works well as if they were croutons. The salad is simple yet flavorful with the ingredients and dressing. - Argula and Proscuitto Pizza (4/5): A classic combination. The portion is huge and great for sharing. The owner was nice and gave us some good suggestions for white and red wines. He also gave us meringue on the house to celebrate my birthday, which were good! We also got some tiramisu, which we at first felt bad for ordering because we weren't sure if the kitchen was closed, but the owner let us order it. The tiramisu was nice and fluffy but with a nice hint of coffee. As a gift for visiting, they also gave us some dried orange slices. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here at VinoVero! It felt very personal and the vibes were chill.

One of the best meals/experiences we've had in LG. Excellent food, great ambiance, awesome service and the owner is heavily involved in the flow of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place!

My friend and I wanted to try something different, so we decided to go to a wine bar and partake of a charcuterie board and a few glasses of vino. Vino Vera is a cute little wine bar in Los Gatos. The inside seats less than thirty people but they do have seating outside as well. We called ahead of time to see if we needed reservations, and we were directed to their website and email. We had to send an email making the request which I thought was archaic, but we received a prompt response back which acknowledged and accepted our request. To me, making reservations this way takes more time on the customer's end; reserving by phone or using Open Table or Yelp is much more convenient. But anyhow, we got in.The bartender was very informative and let us know our options. He was also very attentive during our stay.We opted for "Chef's Choice" where the chef chose three cheeses and three meats based on what wine you were drinking. When we received our order, I was a little disappointed as I expected the presentation to be a little more fancy, but the cheese and meats were a nice choice that paired with our wine.We stayed for a long minute, so we ordered a pizza. It wasn't packed with flavor; in fact, it didn't have much taste, but it looked wonderful on the plate. We had a nice little outing, and we spent a pretty penny. If I lived in the area, I'd probably visit here, but since I don't I'll be looking for someplace with more pizzazz.

This place sooooo took care of our family last Sunday night. The waiters are amazing and passionate about great food. The food was excellent and piping hot. They loved our 3 kids, and sat us on the patio for an incredible feast. Call ahead to reserve seats! : ) Like Del-Fina in SF, except better!

Our first visit at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon went a bit bumpy. There were only 3 other people there and they had already been served so the owner had lots of time to talk at us.My girlfriend and I wanted soak in the experience and look over the wine menu but the owner was checking on us every minute so we didnt feel relaxed. The space is nice though with indoor & outdoor seating. I had a good red and she had a rose she liked.Overall too much talking & pressure but we may try again when there are more people.

I am a frequent Restaurant visitor in Los Gatos and I can tell you that there are very few places where the owner of the place makes you feel like you're in his home. Every moment in every glass and every dish was curated by our great host. We didn't plan on spending time there, but we ended up spending the entire evening. All of it is due to an amazing host named Michele! Bravo!!!!!
