Run don't walk. Jack is a GOATed server. He recommended we get the deluxe chirashi and it was so gas . Worth a visit for sure!

Had to return due to sushi cravings and coming here really hits the spot! The Tiny Sushi Box was beautifully filled with the assortment of fish, fish roe w/ the tastiest rice. The Hamachi tuna sashimi was so fresh! And the mango roll was juicy and tasty. Miso soup, salad and edamame beans were compliments on the house. Service was on point in this cozy teeny tiny spot. Will return for the tic tac toe box! ;p

Such an amazing hidden gem! Food, service, and vibes were excellent. They have a really extensive menu with a bunch of vegetarian options too. We ordered the Oh Baby Box (a bunch of different fish - salmon toro, uni, hamachi, Ikura, and real crab on a bed of rice served w/ some Nori) and the Snow White roll along with some sake. The food was delicious (they were also very knowledgeable and accommodating about food restrictions/allergies) - would highly recommend! Cant wait to go back and try out more of their speciality rolls.

I LOVED everything here.Went here for valentines around 4:40pm and it was already packed. Good thing we came here around opening time as there was a waitlist going on by the time we were seated. The restaurant is pretty tiny, but it's very cute! Me and my bf got the sushi roll -angry roll & the omakase. The omakase presentation was beautiful and every fish was fresh and well prepared. I didnt catch the name of our server, but he was soo welcoming. We'll definitely be back again :)

The quality, portions and presentation is top-notched. I haven't had the chance to eat here since the store is quite small, but I have ordered togo twice and both times were memorable and enjoyable. Before my baby, I was unable to have any sushi so Tiny Sushi really hit the spot! Everything was so yummy, just a tad pricey. But definitely worth the quality and proportions.

Absolutely incredible and fresh sushi- I can see why it's ranked in the top 100 best places to eat in the Bay Area. The chirashi bowl has so much variety and I loved the salmon and scallop. I liked how the rice wasn't overcooked either. Not only was the food great but the service was top notch. They gave us sake shots, sushi tacos and an extra miso soup on the house which was so kind. The place is very small- probably fits 8 people so I suggest coming early and grabbing a spot.

Was very interested to try and the value and food is definitely a reason to come back! This is a small place with about 3 tables and a 4 bar seating, so be aware there may be a wait. However, i got there about noon for lunch and my group of 3 got the last bar seating. Do the deluxe chirashi bowl!! It's so worth it and a ton of sushi rice. You get all of the fatty fish belly and it's super fresh. Sushi taco was good but not needed as we had a lot for the chirashi bowl. Heart attack was a nice roll if you like cooked fish and lots of flavor. Omakase was also nice and you get a few pieces different than in the chirashi bowl. I also really liked the sesame dressing that went with the salad. It's a small place but I left feeling very full and happily satisfied!

Okay you got me.I'm a sucker for real crab and this place had it for a fee. Granted since I was sharing with a friend we decided to try their imitation crab just to see. The rolls we got were great and they even separated it for us. The wakame salad here is on point and so is their salad. I would recommend the salad and the miso soup. Both were great. Hot tea was from a tea bag, and this place is small, it took over the Tani Kitchen space and left it as is. I think the old owners would be proud. The fish was fresh, and the service was great. I'm so glad this didn't dissapoint.

I really enjoyed Tiny Sushi. I got lucky with not having to wait for a seat and finding parking. As everyone else has said, it is very small. 3 tables, 4 counter seats but if it's all filled, it would be quite tight. There was luckily a seat by the door at the bar, and was told I could take it with no waitlist if I wanted or wait for a table. Parking nearby is also kind of terrible (never understood why, the shopping mall has parking) so be prepared. No reservations and they won't even really give you a wait time over the phone. The waitlist looked like it was paper so I assume you would have to wait outside and there were no phone notifications but who knows. All that aside, the food was delicious. The menu was way larger than I expected. Many types of rolls, sashimi, various specials, shared items for the table, veggie options, and even a kids section. I expected it to have like some simple nigiri and sashimi with the omakase and chirashi and other specials but this was not the case. The food does take a little while to come out because they seem to be making each thing with a lot of care and almost one at a time. I ordered the omakase which came with miso soup and a green salad. They also give you fresh (I think?) wasabi and pickled ginger; I didn't have these but both weirdly had a single thin slice of radish which I did enjoy. Miso soup was delicious. Perfect for a cold night, not too salty but great flavor and I really enjoyed the chewy wakame in it as well. It was hot but not scalding and a nice start. The salad was excellent mostly because of their delicious roasted sesame dressing. Very simple but fresh and I loved each bite. Also liked that they give you a generous amount of dressing since it is so good. The omakase was wonderful. They didn't tell me what each item was so I won't write too many details but I loved every bite. The fish was fresh and perfectly sliced but the best part was every piece had the perfect seasoning. I have been to a fancier sushi restaurants where they somehow mess this up and here, there weren't really any missteps at all. You could tell each piece had so much care put into it- a tiny slice of jalapeño, a little sear, some vinegar or wasabi brushed onto the top with just enough and sometimes also in the rice, some roe on top for flavor and crunch. No additional soy sauce or ginger or wasabi needed. This was some of the best seasoning and composition of sushi I've had anywhere. This was also around $60 which is a great deal. And since it's Daly City and not SF, none of those surcharges that add like 20% or more to your bill.I would have loved a little more explanation of the items or some labeling and maybe even suggestion on the order to eat it. But taste wise, very very good.If you are sharing, the chirashi which has sashimi is definitely better than the omakase unless each person gets one since it is 1 nigiri of each type. Honestly most of the menu sounded tasty but the nigiri and sashimi might be the best way to go. Given the food, restaurant size, and value, I am not surprised that it can be hard to get a table and you may have to wait outside (they have nicely left some chairs outside for those waiting but it will probably be cold). Even takeout orders seemed to have a wait. I would come here again if circumstances aligned but would also consider just getting takeout. I think the main draw of the restaurant could have been if you could interact with the sushi chef or have your order explained to you but neither of those happened and so take out might be the move here. Excited to have this as a local option.

This restaurant is a real hidden gem! The interior is small, but has a cozy and welcoming ambiance. Everything is well thought out aesthetically from their plates to decorations. The customer service here is top notched as well! Jack is always checking in to make sure the customers have everything they need and are getting the best experience possible. Last but not least, the sushi is fresh and delicious!
