The Water Street Grill

Was so happy to have found this 'hole in the wall' restaurant. Not the best location or the best ambiance. It scores high on the food, service and price scale. What a find when two can have a real diner for under $100. Couple glasses of wine, Caesar salad (split) shrimp w/ garlic butter fettuccine and chicken Piccata with the best Yukon gold potato's with heavy cream and butter I have had. and asparagus.The server said I could start a diet tomorrow.If you don't mind a chip on the plate or water with lemon slice in a Mason jar.You won't be disappointed!Great people. You'll fell like friends instantly.

Mixed experience here. The portions are generous, but the quality of food is mixed. To begin with, we ordered to go and was staying at a local hotel, but no utensils were provided so we had to scramble, one star off here. The Caesar salad was very fresh, crisp, and flavorful, highlight of the order. We got a pork chop, unfortunately, it's super well done. I think normally the pork chop is a thick cut (based on other photo on Yelp) but today we got two thin slices so that affected the cook time. In addition, the pork chop was under seasoned, even after adding on the garlic butter sauce - never thought I would say that. Also got an order of the seafood pasta and garlic bread, this dish was good overall. Lastly, we had an order of the kids chicken tender with fries. Again, the chicken strip was overcooked. The fries are good.For dessert we got a cheesecake. This was middle of the road we well, not amazing, but not bad either.

I went here with a friend to try the mac and cheese and the waiter gave us a free appetizer, the potato croquettes. They were pretty good, very hot inside so they were freshly fried. The mac and cheese was very spicy when we ordered the normal mac with no spice, and it was almost inedible as I'm hypersensitive to spicy foods. The restaurant felt very intimate, perfect for a romantic dinner. My friend and I didn't know this when we went and we felt like the waiter assumed we were together when we were just two pals getting some mac and cheese together. It was a fairly pricey place, so I don't think I would go back based on my experience alone.

Fantastic food, especially the macaroni. Service is also quite kind and food comes fast, nice aesthetics!

I didn't get to take a before photo! But man oh man I'm so glad I found this place. It's so delicious, I love how it's a mom and pop type of restaurant but still fine dining experience. I enjoyed all the flavors in this dish, it was so flavorful. The sautéed purple onion and mushrooms were delicious. The shrimp was very well seasoned and the sauce that coats the chicken was great. Overall this was a dish I'd order again and again. Servers were very sweet ladies, and one actually recommended this dish. Flavor curry is what she said and she wasn't wrong.

Waiters are stretched very thin they are doing their best! Food was not worth the wait or price. Seafood pasta was not giving seafood only few bites of salmon, menu states prawns but received regular shrimp!Both steaks were cooked well when asked for medium Cute intimate setting but is busy during dinner!

We had two dinners at The Water Street Grill and both were delicious.The fish & chips were perfectly battered, hot and crunchy. I'd been craving that dish for awhile; it didn't disappoint. My son's spaghetti carbonara confused me: It seemed like Alfredo/half Carbonara. It had the lardons and cheese but it was this mega size and it looked like the sauce broke. That said, my, son had zero complaints and devoured every bite! The second night I treated myself to the ribeye and lobster tail platter and it was perfect in every way: The steak was the perfect temperature (rare) and the lobster tail was succulent. Don't miss the desserts, especially paired with ice cream that's homemade (the owner has an ice cream shop in town). Choose the killer chocolate cake - and don't forget the ice cream! (And it travels well, we took it to go).Ambiance is laid back, casual yet intimate. Service is friendly and wanting to please, you'll feel spoiled. The Water Street Grill is a nice place to unwind and enjoy good food paired with attentive yet unfussy service.

If we can give 6 stars, we would. Our family of 5 ordered different things from clam chowder, pasta dish, burgers and dessert. Everything is over the top good! And our server, Shelly, gave the best service we haven't had for a long time. Super recommended restaurant! Added to our Favorites on our Google Map.

We ate dinner here. I had their clam chowder and fish and chips. My fiance had bbq shrimp on top of mashed potatoes. He said it was alright. The waitress (I can't remember her name) Was amazing!!!

Great food! You can't tell by a book by its cover and this restaurant proves that! Best Chicken Picatta outside my kitchen! Very friendly servers too
