I had the veggie sandwich which I really like. The bread was super soft and the special sauce was very unique. Great spot in a very quiet area.

I was here twice and both times ordered the turkey and avocado on dutch crunch. The sandwich was very good - plenty of meat and the roll seemed very fresh. The size was quite large for the price. The seating can be a little limited at lunch time.

Amazing spot! The second you walk in you are so warmly greeted. I ordered the Hat Trick in a gluten free wrap and it was delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone. Hope to come back soon this is a great spot for lunch.

Came around 1pm on a Monday and it was not busy. Quick service and my sandwich was made quick!Got a toasted balk on Dutch crunch. I did cucumbers tomatoes onions and pepperoncini with oil/vinegar I enjoy sandwiches from here and the service is good!

I really like the Sandwich Spot, I usually go to their Redwood City location. They have a larger menu and also more salad options. This San Carlos location is a lot smaller and limited in selection. The only salads they have were macaroni or potato salad, something drenched in creamy sauce. I order the number 8, the Carlmont with everything in it. My sandwich was drenched in sauce, it was dripping wet and very hard to eat. Probably had like 5 different sauces, I should have slipped their "everything" and just opted for the sauces exclusively in the sandwich. It tasted like a pickled sandwich, too many pickled things so the sandwich tasted sour, spicy, and very soggy. They also ran out of the wheat roll....and had I ordered this on slice bread I don't think the bread would have withheld the amount of sauce they put on this thing.

The Sandwich Spot in San Carlos is no longer relevant in the deli sandwich world. Hygiene needs a lot of work. People were touching all kinds of stuff without washing their hands afterwards and eating while making sandwiches - gross! While there were five or six flavors of chips to choose from, they had no drinks. Only water. Really? I'm gonna spend $35 on two sandwiches and you can't be bothered with having more drinks in the refrigerator than water? I can no longer support this business as it appears days away from shutting down.

Amazing sandwiches! I had 29 and the Dutch crunch bread was really fresh with just the right amount of crunch , the sandwich was perfectly balanced, every bite was a symphony of flavors . I think this spot is my new craving . And the owner is a genuinely nice guy who cares about his customers satisfaction. I highly recommend giving the Sandwich Spot a try !
