Okay, I find it entirely unjust that they're carrying craptastic reviews from more than 5 years ago and previous management... I feel like there should be a metamorphosis filter that lets you see how current management/ownership is dealing. Perhaps the owners are the same? I'm not certain, but I do know that they are under new management. So, all I'm saying is... give Helen a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised.I've been there through all of the Carlos Club iterations, for more than 20 years... back in the bad karaoke days DJ'd by "Mr. Sex", complete with guy who brings his own mic and takes himself too seriously to the dive bar standard issue weird old guy who dances like a pervy chicken and had his own Facebook page for a minute; to the first change in ownership with its weird new vibe and sad attempt to class up the place but failure to fix the rank stenchy plumbing. I spent many a nearly forgotten night there until the past few years.... And now returned to find they're under new management and thought an updated review was in order...I had a chance to visit for the birthday of a friend. It was definitely surreal walking in to the updated location (I don't like the new name, it's forever "The Carlos Club" in my mind), the back bar is now gorgeously lit with a great selection. They've created some yummy craft cocktails, plus all the standards. Pool table, Darts and plenty of TVs to watch the games of the day. The furniture situation was a little awkward but it looks like it can be easily moved around. Personally, I hate high tops (short girl problems) but that's just me, but luckily they have low seating too and happiest of all happiness the restrooms are now meticulous!! It matters. So there ya have it. Give them a chance, and if you're happy help bump 'em up a star to move on from the previous mess.

Is this place ever open? There hours state there open 7 days a week. Have stopped by multiple times and never open. Have contacted manager and owner about rental for events and they say they will get back to me but never do. Want to like this place but they make it so hard.

I threw a surprise party for my wife here last Saturday. The owner Helen and her staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I was able to hire a DJ and my wife, myself and our friends danced the night away. Everyone really enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for a medium size party of approx 40 guests. TBH, I don't what to think about this bar. But I don't really go to sports bars either. They have a pool table which is cool, plenty of seating and a cool liquor backdrop. I didn't know what to order and told the bar tender what I liked and he made something for me that was actually really good. We hung out there for a little while and it never got really crowded, but I guess there wasn't a really good game on either. Overall, I'll have to check out this place again. I like the drink I had, but I don't know if I really like the place yet.

The fat female bartender is rude, the pool cues are all bent, the table isn't level, and even the service was bad when there were only 3 people (regulars, I assume) at the bar. I'm new to town and will never come back. Spent maybe 30 minutes there and left. Don't come here, do better for yourself.

Awful place with terrible service. Rude staff all around and parking is atrocious. The owner is tow happy, like dude I'm trying to give YOU business. Avoid at all costs, go to Drake's
