Got garlic burps? IYKYK. Well, I'm happy to report back that the Mochi Donut Shop's longanisa is garlicky enough but won't leave you with the infamous longanisa garlic burps all day. We were nearby and placed a pickup order through Grubhub. Hubs got the loco moco silog, I got the longsilog, and for kicks we also got a Korean corndog. Our order was ready in about 20 minutes or less. The shop is a few doors down from the old Tselogs location, so parking can be a bit challenging. We lucked out with a spot two doors down though. This is definitely a grab and go spot. The portions are large, and I think they may have given me an extra longanisa. The rice was a bit more mushy soft than hard like true garlic fried rice, that's my only critique for my dish. I also found it slightly less greasy than other sweet longanisa that I've had. He thought his loco moco silog was solid for a non-Hawaiian spot as well, and an added bonus is they also pair this up with a random piece of spam. I think for convenience though, they may be using a premade burger patty for the loco moco. The Korean corn dog had both the hotdog and the mozzarella, but a bit different than the one I've had at Stix; there's no sugar coating on the outside, and this one has one layer of hot dog and one layer of mozzarella instead of switching off between the two with four layers. It still can satisfy the k-dog craving though, as it's not that easy to find! Overall, the Mochi Donut Shop is a solid spot for silogs, and other snacks. Next time I may try one of their banh mi sandwiches or sisig rice plate. The flavors they had for the mochi donuts that day didn't tickle my fancy, but I'm sure they have some intriguing flavors on rotation. The Mochi Donut shop has something for everyone from boba drinks and mochi donuts to fried chicken, rice plates and sandwiches. 3.5 stars rounded up.

I use sisig as the measuring stick with which I compare different Filipino restaurants. I am always excited to order sisig because tastes so good and never disappoints... until now. This is the worst sisig I have had in the Bay Area. It was neither crispy nor juicy. It was hard and just tasted... old. I get that a "donut shop" might not necessarily excel in producing items outside of its specialty, but damn. This sisig was just bad - so bad that I could not resist ranting about it.I've had their donuts before and they were fine. Stick to their donuts and avoid the sisig.

I went here for an event. We got a donut, a meal item and a drink. There was a line, but it went relatively quickly. I would have been out of there more quickly, but I ordered something that wasn't on the special menu for the night. I had the lumpia which were delicious, the Thai iced tea was great, and the churro donut was worth the trip. I ordered the pork belly to go and it was on the dry side. I wonder if it would have been better if they weren't as busy getting the event meals together.I loved that there are books on the counter for the taking. Great idea! Parking is impossible here, so plan ahead.

Stopped by because it was conveniently located across Walgreens, where there was a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Server was friendly and it seems that locals stop by often.Ube Milk Tea ($5.75) - Confirmed with server that it's made with powder. I got it anyways because I was desperate and instantly regretted it. Probably the worst tapioca balls I've ever had. It tasted like mush.Popcorn Chicken ($7.99) - Pricy for a little bit of meat coated with thick batter. It wasn't great.

This was an impromptu stop while exploring this part of the city. I would be back, but maybe not for the actual corn dog which seems to be their main menu.Pros-fast-friendly staff, generous with my ask of napkins lol-cute interiorCons-part of an entire drink menu was not yet available (fruit lattes) but not marked are on the visible menu-corn dog was not seasoned well, I wonder if they could offer a sauce-no water (must buy from packaged)-limited seating & lack of public restrooms, though I can see somewhat common in this area

This place is a new addiction for my son and I! My husband and I absolutely love their banh mi sisig. The meet is crunchy and has just enough chopped jalapeño to make the sandwich. A lot of fun. my son's favorite is the potato sausage, half half. it's half potato and half mozzarella cheese. After school before Swim fills them up pretty good along with sweet potato fries.Chicken sandwiches also great specially since for an extra $3.99 you can get a soda and fries with it .The food has been really good and tasty and reasonably priced.

We've been here a few times m. Hot cheetos and fried chicken pairs very well. I wish they use pickles instead of cucumbers like they did before.. The ube brown sugar latte was super sweet this time around. The lady that served us was very friendly and nice.
