Great place and really good food. Felt comfortable and like home. Our waiter Tony was very helpful and Amazing!

Came here luckily on the 9 year anniversary of them opening for an early lunch. Maybe 2 tables full when we got there but packed when we left.As always delicious food, everyone loved it and while I didn't get pictures of it the chicken wings were great and done extra crispy and sauce on side. Loved it.Service was fantastic as always and will be back again!

On our quest for the best fish tacos in the Bay Area, we decided to give The City Fish a try based on a recommendation. The staff friendliness and the family-run vibe really stood out. The lively banter about Bay Area sports between the staff and customers added a charming local touch. During lunch, the place was buzzing with a constant stream of people.As for the fish tacos, they were just okay. My wife wasn't thrilled about the cream sauce being made with Miracle Whip instead of mayo, and the taco itself had very little fish. It wasn't until I added some Pepper Plant sauce that the taste improved.The bread bowl, however, was a highlight for one reason: the temperature! It arrived steaming hot and stayed that way until the very end. Unfortunately, the bread itself wasn't fresh, and we only found one clam in the entire bowl.Lastly, the French fries were well-cooked but lacked flavor since they weren't seasoned.Maybe we ordered the wrong food. They do have a Happy Hour that might entice us to return someday.

City Fish provides large portions of fresh seafood for fantastic value in South Bay and is genuinely a great option if you're craving fish n chips. I went for dinner around 7PM on a weekday and there were plenty of tables. Plus, there's a shared parking lot behind the building, which makes it swinging by super convenient.Crab Sandwich (4.25/5): They were extremely generous with the amount of crab and I got a towering sandwich. I appreciated that the sandwich wasn't over dressed and the natural sweetness of the crab came through. The meal was so big I ended up bringing the other half the sandwich home and it was still delicious the day after.Fried Oyster (3.75/5): I appreciate that you can order some fried items a la carte and the huge oysters came out piping hot. Batter was nice and crispy, but I think the type of oyster is just not my favorite. Not a fault of the restaurant, but I prefer sweeter options.Fish & Chips (4.5/5): Poached a piece off my friend's plate and the fish was perfectly fried and had fantastic texture. Fries are standard as they come, but nice and crispy! Overall, this place executes well and with the portion sizes, there's truly nothing to complain about.

Tried City Fish for the first time with the family. We have a fish and chips place by our house but the batter they use is better. My crab sandwich was good and everyone liked the clam chowder. Oyster were ok. The people working there were really nice and helpful. Food came out fast and hot. Would recommend to anyone if they were in the area!

Small restaurant with a friendly staff that serves good seafood. Came here for lunch on a Friday around 12:30 and had to wait for a table. It wasn't a long wait. Ordered the chicken and fish combo platter. They were both fried very well. The chicken is white meat but it wasn't dried out. The food came out quickly for as busy as they were. From looking at the other tables it looks like the fish and chips is the popular item. We don't live close but will be back when we can for the fish or chicken.

A small restaurant situated in a plaza with a steady stream of customers even on a Wednesday during lunch time. The service was extremely friendly and fast. Our favorite item was the fried calamari which was so light and crispy. The crab sandwich and lobster roll were decently sized. I liked the crab sandwich slightly more than the lobster roll.

Small restaurant but amazing food/ portion size. The lobster roll had so much lobster!! I could barely finish it lol. + comes with 2 sides. I got garlic fries but I should have stuck with just their regular fries. The garlic was over powering my lobster roll. Clam chowder 4.6/5 - so comforting, warm, and creamy. Delicious Lobster Roll 4.4/5 - yummy and great portions! I wished they made it hot (not sure if that's an option, will ask next time I go ;) )

I came here with my fiance for lunch on a Saturday around 12:30. It was a bit busy but we were quickly greeted and seated. The servers were quick and attentive. We ordered 12 oysters, the crab sandwich, the lobster roll, and a bowl of clam chowder.The oysters were good and satisfied our craving.My fiance and I gave the lobster roll and crab sandwich a 10/10. The crab sandwich came with fries and the lobster roll came with two sides. The clam chowder was super creamy and filled with clams. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.

I will never order anything except a classic lobster roll here! Just as good and generously stuffed as the one I remember from last year. Lots and lots of cool ( New England style) sweet lobster meat and very little else in the toasted bun- stuffed with virtually no filler or goopy mayo. Extra lemon request for iced tea and lobster roll were accommodated. rCrisp hotfries and a fresh clean salad.Iced tea may not be fresh brewed but it is delicious. If I had a tip, it might be don'tvisit the dank, swampy butprobably clean bathroom until you are finished eating. No frillsor filler just fantAstic fish! Get here now!
