This place honestly needs more love. I know you got to pay for parking around here, but I think it was worth the dollar and a quarter to be able to enjoy this place. The family that owns this place are very attentive and funny. They always check to make sure you're doing ok. The space is big enough for team lunches and the booths are cozy for catch up with friends. The portion sizes for lunch were generous. Tom yum gai is the reason for our outing and I got my fix. There is a picture of just the cup in my review and it was already filling. If you want to share, please get the pot. I also want to see what it looks like so I'll come next time to try it out. The noodles (both pad Thai and pad se ew) were yummy, but definitely have enough for another meal. It has a good mix of veggies with it. I know they're for garnish, but the orange slices were also sweet. The mango sticky rice was the star of the show. Look how cute it is heart-shaped! The coconut sticky rice was seasoned well. It had the right amount of everything! The portion size was enough to share, but if you like it as much as I do, you may not want to.

Ordered a Pad Thai which was $15. Nothing really stood out on flavor or anything that was really bad either. Default protein was shrimp which was fine. The portions were small. 6/10 Pad Se-iew also about $15. Same as above expect protein was beef. 5/10 Mango sticky rice was good. Large portions and very presentable. 9/10Parking is difficult and metered so it wasn't worth the trip. I was only trying it out because I already paid for parking going somewhere else. It seemed like other tables enjoyed the local atmosphere of the restaurant. I'm a hard critic. White elephant is a lot better for these 2 dishes and that was my test for an even plan field on which restaurant was better.

Thai Satay was a very clean and welcoming restaurant. Our server was hospitable and very attentive. We dined in the restaurant during the weekday lunch hour which was nice because the restaurant offers plenty of lunch special items. My husband ordered the mango sticky rice which he claimed was the best mango sticky rice he's ever had. As for food unfortunately it was not very good. I'd rate the food quality about a 7. The Pad Thai was bland and not flavorful. I did appreciate that there were two pieces of shrimp in my Pad Thai. I also ordered some Crab Cheese Rangoon which was cooked well on the outside, but the Crab Cheese Rangoon had a cheese flavor so it created an interesting flavor. Overall, I'd say this is not the best Thai food restaurant I've been to because the food lacks flavor. It is a great place for lunch though but just don't expect too much.

When we arrived we were seated at our table. The music playing in the background was faint but relaxing. The server was attentive. The food we ordered was delicious! We ordered the baby corn, fried rice, and pad Thai, They cleared up our plates when we were done. And came back with clean plates for our dessert which was fried banana and icecream. Not sure what the flavor was but it was an orange color. The fried banana wasn't overpowering. It had a nice crisp crunch ratio. Banana was sweet!

This place is quite, clean and the food is amazing. Was running out of time headed back from sf, when I stumbled upon this spot, I tell you what, one of the best pad see In the area! Parking was a bit tough but this place is worth every penny, food is made fresh, portioned generously & and flavors well rounded!

It's been a minute since we were here, but we really wanted thai so my coworker and I decided to give this place another try.Highlights: great thai iced thai and quick service. Cons: horrible free salad and weird watery coconut soup with some veggies. I love coconut, but this soup tastes like a weird coconut soap. Leaves a weird taste in your mouth. Coworkers chicken lunch was hella dry.The crab Rangoon is filled with cream cheese and no crab. See picture.Lunch special is reasonable and the peanut sauce and Pad Thai are good.A bunch of hits and misses so I'll give this 3 stars.

The customer service is friendly. The ambiance is casual and quiet. The food is good. I liked the shrimp rolls and satay. Chicken teriyaki was okay. Would probably come here once in a while.

Ambiance was great!! Relaxing and according to my bf, who hasn't been here for years, they gave it a face lift. So that's nice to go to a place that's not old and shabby. The service was amazing. Always refilling the water. One order was made incorrectly and the "boss" chef insisted on remaking my order. Which I was very reluctant but I'm glad I did Bcse the dish I ordered and when made correctly was amazing!! The beef larb Thai spice level soo flavorful!! Hats off to the chef! The crab fried rice was amazing, the seafood salads was delicious and the Angel wings were definitely worth ordering again. One of the best Thai places I've had in the bay. I really love how all the dishes were seasoned to perfection. Bit bland and not super salty.

This review is solely on the food.We ordered pad Thai I really it was terrible over cooked noodles! I was hoping I can trowel my noodles but not a chance, they were smoochy ! Reheating way too many times. You can see it for yourself on the picture. The second plate was the pork plate oh lord smh ! I've never had pork so dry and flavorless. Terrible food.
