San Jose Candy Kitchen

I've been in a hunt for Dubai chocolate around the Bay Area that meets my satisfaction, but I don't think I need to continue searching because San Jose Candy Kitchen has the BEST Dubai chocolate I've ever tasted. I've been recommending this place to friends and family and will continue to do so because it's so good!

Pretty good candy apples at this spot. They taste fresh and if you're a sugar lover you'll probably get a lot of cravings taken care of. A decent variety of product here for the sweet tooths. Staff is friendly and efficient in getting things done. My wife has been bringing us food from here for a little bit and overall it's great.

Nice staff, poor product. It's just corn syrup and sugar. The ice cream does not have a good mouth feel, it's thin. Tastes like super sweet ice milk. The toppings too (hot fudge tastes like dark brown colored sugar, you can't taste cocoa. Caramel just tastes like tan colored sugar.)Tried the fudge candy, it was also a disappointment. It did not taste rich at all, it had the taste of powdery plain confectioners sugar. The apples are pretty, and would make a nice gift for someone on looks alone... I didn't have one so I cannot vouch for the taste. Although it is very hard to mess up an apple, the rest of the things I had makes me feel that it would be a disappointment also.

I only came here for the Dubai chocolate. My friend likes it and said it was a little too sweet for her taste. Service is fast. It's a small shop that has outdoor furniture/seating. Can you fit in a wheelchair? If there isn't a line but people are well aware.

This is a hidden gem of downtown for sure! Stopped in because the have the "viral Duabi chocolate bar" here. Walking in you're hit with the heavenly aroma of fresh chocolate. They have SO many options, chocolates, gummy candies, ice cream, soda, you name it! Of course I got the Dubai chocolate bar. It was $19 which is definitely pricy for a chocolate bar but I've seen it as expensive as $40 on Amazon so not too bad in hindsight. It was decadent, could have had a bit more of the filling if I'm being honest especially for the price tag but I really enjoyed it!

Unassuming, but so nice, I went twice within 24 hours! I was on the hunt for ice cream, as usual, and found delightful familiar flavors like tin roof, chocolate peanut butter, and raspberry vanilla. All were good but the raspberry vanilla was my surprise favorite. They had the chocolates, popcorn, and gummy candies too! Prefect place for a snack or a treat to purchase for friends or family. Staff was kind and discounts for students!

They have Fudge!!! Originally, I went in for a soda float, but they were out of the flavors I wanted. The candy apples looked so yummy, but were a little pricey. I settled for fudge, $5 for 4oz piece. The store is cute, small, and the staff is friendly. To get your candy fix, I'd recommend.

Came to this area with some friends for a project. I ordered a Raspberry Truffle Milkshake out of impulse as I was thirsty, and found it to be far better than I expected it to be. The drink was a bit on the pricier side (ten dollars for a milkshake that's around the same size as your usual boba drink from drink places nearby, which are usually around 5-7 dollars) but it had the perfect level of sweetness and flavor that you would have difficulty finding elsewhere. I'm not sure if it was worth ten dollars and the price definitely deters me from wanting to buy a signature milkshake again, but I would be willing to come back to try some of their other items.As for the shop itself, it had very nice decor. There's some benches outside if you want to sit down, but there are no tables so you might be best off finding another place to do work if that's what your intentions are.

Let's talk about the Dubai Chocolate bar! I seen that so many people went here and how hyped up this place was getting for their Dubai Chocolate bars. When we got the box itself, it had chocolate finger prints on them and the sticker already seemed teared as if it was almost opened before. I was in and out so didn't notice. Once We tried the chocolate bar, it was not how it should've tasted! The filling is Just straight peanut butter, super oily and seemed like it was just peanut butter dyed slightly green!!?? Did not taste like pistachio or how it should've. Super disappointing especially for a $20 bar! The chocolate on it did not mix well either, almost like they tried to use a bad chocolate to combat the peanut butter taste. Overall not the best bar and definitely not a real one!! Save your $20

No shade to the place . But please save your money , $20 for the pistachio chocolate bar and it wasn't good at all. From the chocolate it self to the filing inside wasn't it. The chocolate had a weird taste to it. tasted bitter and just not good quality chocolate. The filling was bitter and dry. It isn't the real pistachio cream that is meant to be in the bar. This bar filling tasted like peanut butter but instead of peanut it's pistachio . It was more chocolate than filling. As for the place itself I don't have no review on it as I just went in and out to get the chocolate bar. I'm sure there other desserts are good. This pistachio chocolate bare just missed the mark .
