A small chocolate shop in the middle of West Valley. Although the samples are displayed inside the case, they don't have everything in stock. What's in stock are placed on top of the glass display. I was looking for the nut bars but they did not have it in stock. I purchased the Hokkaido gift set and the chocolate is really smooth and not overly sweet.

Inside of the Mitsuwa market. The hours on yelp are wrong, close at 6 pm. On weekdays. Be prepared to wait in line to get inside like Disneyland. The lady was very helpful in answering questions. I def like this location over the Valley Fair kiosk. Bought the assorted box which had wafer cookies and thin square chocolates that were flavored in middle. The cNama chocolate was my favorite, mild cacao was mild and melt in your mouth consistency. Much better than fudge, they give a cooling bag with mini ice pack to keep cool. Since it has to remain cold.

Excellent customer service and easy checkout with special gift wrapping service. They have a wide variety of chocolates and other special gift box goodies. If you need to do last minute holiday shopping, this is a perfect place to accomplish it. I purchased their regular Matcha chocolate box and sampler set! We will be back!

I've been sleeping on the best chocolate being in my neighborhood. I opted to put together 20 gift bags for a Valentine's Day party and picked up the tiramisu wafers and berry chocolates. They were sooooo good. They are my new favorite.

Great place to get chocolates for gifting. The staff is very kind and helpful. Plus their packaging is very good to make sure the chocolates don't melt in the hot weather!

This store locates in Mizuwa Japanese market and right next to the door of the market. I love Royce chocolate for a long time since I bought the first box of Royce NAMA at the Japan duty-free store. Their chocolates are melting in your mouth, creamy but not overly rich and indulgent pieces make me easy to keep on eating piece after piece. The staff helps the customer packed the NAMA chocolates in a cooling bag.The Darjeeling and the champagne are my favorites among all!

I have a LONG history with ROYCE chocolates. Having first discovered them when my dad brought them back from his business trips in Japan, I have boldly proclaimed that these are my favorite chocolates IN THE WORLD. The packaging is sleek, yet fancy, giving you the impression that really high quality chocolate lies inside, and the chocolate definitely lives up to that reputation. The chocolate is smooth, flavorful, and rich, and you only need to eat a couple of pieces to really feel you have indulged yourself. Not to mention that ROYCE chocolates come in all sorts of flavors - including champagne, tropical fruit flavors like mango, etc. They also have bitter chocolate if you don't like your chocolate sweet.I have had the pleasure of traveling to Japan and picking up several packets of ROYCE chocolates to enjoy back at home, and the price of the chocolates in Japan is under $10 per packet. I also discovered a ROYCE chocolate store while I was living in NYC and the same packet of chocolate was marked up to $18, which I was disappointed to see. Now that I've moved back to the Bay, when I heard that a ROYCE chocolate shop was opening in San Jose, I had to check it out, hoping that the prices of the chocolates might be more reasonable here than they were in NYC. Unfortunately, each packet of chocolate is $18 here as well, so it is my impression that the price for ROYCE chocolates in the US is set to be $18. Some things to note: this is not an actual ROYCE chocolate shop, but more of a kiosk located in the Mizuwa Japanese market. Because it is a kiosk and not a free-standing store, it really only has the chocolates and not the full range of items that ROYCE makes, like chocolate-covered potato chips (don't knock it until you've tried it!). You also have to pay for the ROYCE chocolates separately, as it is technically not part of the market although it shares space inside the marketplace. The chocolates themselves are amazing, but the setup of the kiosk in the marketplace and lack of a full range of ROYCE products left me hoping for more.

Smaller than the boutique shops but still everything you'd ever want from Royce. Located inside the mitsuwa in the front corner. Still the same friendly service.
