Rookies Sports Lodge - Downtown

It's a fun place to watch a game if you can get a seat. It's all assigned seating so during the big games it will be tough. There are a lot of TVs in the bar. Burger 2/5 - Dry and overcookedPizza - 4/5 Surprisingly good, Nice crispy crust. Good topping mix and decent sauce. I would order Pizza here in the future.

First time here We walked in and there was tons of open seating and no wait YAY Hostess greeted us immediately and let us pick where we wanted to sit There are Tons of TVs so anywhere you sit is a good seat to watch the game All off the TV are showing the same game kinda of a bummer but I guess it's cool if it's the Super Bowl or something but tonite was not the case lol There is indoor and outdoor seating available Venue is relatively big and there is one main bar 2 stars because the service was SLOW and there wasn't any condiments available for their house hamburgers We ordered drinks ..... didn't get drinks till 10min later (bar was not busy at all see photos) Got our food, friend ordered the house burger and when it arrived it arrived plane so friend asked for condiments Waitress brought out a bottle of mayonnaise lol asked for Steak sauce was told no steak sauce asked for relish no relish available But they did have BBQ sauce ....... Prices are reasonable Would I come back here again Ummm maybeThis business does allow children and I'm all for it except not when the kids are screaming from the top of their lungs and that was the case this evening so just another thing to consider Also pets are allowed the table next to us had a dog with them in the main dining room (not outside)

First I want to point out an employee named BOBBY! His customer service is spectacular!!!! He was supper friendly, made sure the raider game was visible to us and never made our table feel like a bother. he's amazing and how helpful he was even though he was not our server. 10/10 service. Place was nice and clean, food was fresh and hot! Seriously THANK YOU so MUCH BOBBY. Your service was really appreciated by our table. Go raiders!

Decent selection of games in a recent Sunday. The. Breakfast menu is off the table come noon. It's a fairly well set up sports bar. Beer selection was fairly pedestrian. The burgers were tasty. Bonus for being able to get a nice side salad instead of fries. Our server was kind and friendly. It was pretty apparent she had a few too many tables to cover. Not a sports bar I would seek out. It worked for being the right place to fill our needs. Parking is going to cost you. Even on the weekends. At the closest lots you'll drop a $20 for parking.

Plenty of TV's and a decent food menu and beer list. I was here on a busy night but not all tables were full. Probably 70% and underwhelmed by the performance of the staff. I had to chase down servers to put both drink and food orders in then follow-up with those servers to actually get my old and drinks. This happened multiple times! 30 minute wait for a chicken cobb salad seems excessive and they brought me a side of ranch when the cobb had crumbled blue cheese on it???? Not sure what the deal is here but they need to update their training and focus. Poor showing. I won't be back. Check other options if you want a sports bar.

Well, had to take away a star. Came on a Sunday to watch the football games and track my fantasy team. It was very busy, but that is to be expected. We were seated pretty quickly, which was great. What was not great was the very slow drink service. If we had been ordering specialty mixed drinks, I could understand. But we were just getting beer. At one point the waitress said the printer was not working....idk.....had to re-do our order. I will say that my chicken wings did come out fast.

Typical pub grub experience. Casual atmosphere. Plenty of televisions. Service was friendly. Food was edible but not something to seek out. Nice tap selection. Gets job done if looking for pub grub in area.

It has been a long time I have been in an establishment where it has been chaos from start to finish. That ended this last weekend. Place was packed with NFL Divisional Playoff fans and clearly understaffed for the occasion. The servers lacked appreciation for the frustration from patrons taking place around them. Our long drink adventure started by sitting down and waiting for anyone to acknowledge us while seated. Then we had our order taken - just drinks - with no warning on how long we would wait. During the waiting and waiting, and waiting the couple next to us left their table and walked out after only getting water with no order taken. Once the drinks arrived, we were greeted with an extra ingredient, a dead (I think) bug catching a ride on the top of one our drinks.Lively sports bars may be hard to come by in downtown San Jose, but give this place a hard pass no matter how desperate you are to watch a game.

The beer options are decent but the food is overpriced bar stuff that probably comes right out of bags. Servers are good and they have tons of TV's. Can be loud so it's good if you want to get into a game!

Good food. Perfect meal and drinks before the Alfred Robles show. Drinks were strong and delicious. Taco Salad was also good and HUGE! I would go back.
