The food was underwhelming. I ordered my food to go and ate it at home which might have impacted the taste and texture. My siblings and I were all underwhelmed by the carne pizza, the salsiccia pizza, and the buffalo wings. These 3 items cost $69.When placing my order to go over the phone, they required a credit card. When I arrived, I asked if the card had been charged yet or if the card was simply used as a security measure. The staff member who helped me wasn't sure about the credit card charge and said it must have been a recent update to their policy. They said they implemented this because many to go order customers weren't paying for their food before leaving. So now, they charge the card before pick up so you can go in, get your food, and head out. There were other good looking items on the menu, I might have just ordered the wrong things

Came as a party of 5 on a Thursday at 6:15 PM. There was no wait. We came for happy hour where cocktails were $10. Parking: Conveniently located near the Caltrain station, there are plenty of parking spaces available. Ambience: Casual, cozy, and rustic with a relaxed vibe. A great spot to unwind with friends or family.Service: The service was quick, friendly, and attentive.Food & Drinks:Carne Pizza - 7/10: The pizza was decent with its crispy pepperoni. However, it wasn't particularly memorable compared to other pizza places.Let the Fun Be-Gin Cocktail - 8/10: A refreshing and well-balanced drink made with my favorite combination of gin and fresh grapefruit. It's a solid choice, especially for just $10 during happy hour.Summary: Rise Woodfire is an okay choice for food, but I would personally just come for the happy hour.

Loooove this place -- 2 takeout orders in now. Have ordered:*Faroe Islands salmon entree*Margherita + Fungi + Veggie + Prosciutto (never tried this one) pizzas*Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread*Classic Caesar (Half)*Sides: Woodfired Broccolini, Mac And Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Fries, Coleslaw, Sweet Potatoes*Desserts: Flourless Choc. Cake + Salted Caramel Pear Pie + Blueberry Pie slices generous amount of toppings on the pizzas and most that I tried were good -- Favorite was the veggie. peppercorn ranch is a must. it's obviously homemade and incredible to dip crust into. the coleslaw w horseradish was best I've had in a while. salmon was perfect (for the price it better be)! caesar salad and funghi pizza - huge no. the salad was super bland with a wild amount of thick romaine cores. pizza was decent when fresh but horrible the next day -- i think their crust in general is way too chewy. skip the sweet potatoes and flourless cake. the pear PIE with the salted caramel sauce, THOUGH!! I was told it won't be back until Christmas (when I called for my 2nd order, after not seeing it available online) and now I'm determined to befriend the baker who poured their heart and soul into my slice. I usually am not big on pie but I need that one once a week.

I recently moved to the area and am on the hunt for my go-to pizza spot; I still have many more to try but I can say this one is definitely up there! The Greek salad had a great flavor and proportion of toppings, but had a little too much dressing for my preference. My boyfriend and I both agreed that the pizza crust is fantastic--the outer crust was nice and fluffy, but the inner crust was thin without being flimsy / falling apart. Probably one of the better pizza crusts we've had! However, I was expecting a little more flavor contrast on the Calabrese Honey pizza. I thought there would be more of a spice kick, balanced by the sweet honey, but everything kind of blended together and didn't taste particularly spicy or sweet. It was still good though! We sat in a booth by the kitchen and really enjoyed the ambiance. The restaurant just felt open, bright and warm, despite the gloomy weather outside. We went early evening on a weekday so it wasn't terribly busy, but I imagine this place fills up on the weekend. Looking forward to coming back and trying some other pizzas or entrees (I was surprised how many other options there were)!

Rise is such an underrated spot! It's a pizza place and rotisserie with woodfire grills that serves up amazing food along with great cocktails and draft beers. I think people used to avoid it because it's right at the train station and was noisy, but now that they've switched to electric trains, it's actually super cool to watch them silently glide by while you eat.The pizza was solid, but the real MVP was our server (pretty sure his name was Roan - sorry if I got that wrong!). He absolutely killed it handling our large family party. We kept ordering food incrementally throughout the meal, and he managed to get everything out perfectly while making spot-on recommendations. What's even more impressive is that he was training someone at the same time! Five stars for Roan's patience and excellent service alone.

Decent American food that's leaning more on the pricier side. Salmon was pretty small for the price, and mostly came with veggies, but the thai sweet chili sauce pairs well together. The BBQ ribs was the best dish, so tender & flavorful. The restaurant is the middle of Caltrain station and the bus stop, so you can see the train pass by from time to time. I went on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was pretty busy. It's a pretty spacious area and gives out an old timey rustic vibe.

We had a reservation for 10 people, and we arrived on a 4pm of a Saturday. It is amazing how bug of this place is. It is next to Caltrain station and there is plenty of parking spaces. They allow dogs in their semi outdoor space, which our party appreciated.Even though our party was pretty big, the service was very very good. During the two hours that we were there, I didn't think I have waited for anything. The food was ok, but not that great. I ordered Calebrese and Honey, because I have never saw it anywhere else, and I like sweet food. It was good. My wife got beef back Rip which was ok too. I would say the environment and service trumps the food quality, but there is nothing specifically bad about food either.Overall, I think we will go there if we have large party again, but not otherwise.

We came rather late but there was no wait or line. We were seated right away. I had the pomagranate fizz non-alcoholic drink and hubs had the henhouse beer. He never drinks or likes beer but said it was surprisingly good! My drink was refreshing and delish! We had the back ribs pizza and the cheese was super good. My other half said it tasted like feta (slightly gamey) but I tasted none of that. I really enjoyed the fresh cheese and it reminded of queso fresco. We also got a Margherita with Italian fennel sausage to go for the kiddos and that was also tasty! Love the thin crust. Reminds me of new York
