I'm picky about pizza, but this stuff was so good.We got the burrata w/ pesto as an appetizer, and the pepperoni and prosciutto pizzas as our main meals. The dough was perfectly fluffy and all the toppings were high quality.I saw some reviews about the service being iffy but we had no problems till then end. They took a while to bring the check. No biggie though.

I heard from a colleague that she was quoted $40 per person and 20 people minimum.There must be better options for a sports team party. Is there a more reasonable pizza place for a group in the Burlingame or San Mateo area?

I've been coming here since it opened. The prosciutto on this pizza is chewier than gum. This is the only pizza I get, and over the years, this one's the worst. Disgusting smell and consistency from prosciutto, if I get sick I'll be reporting to the health department. I picked up burrata as-well. Which is good. Ordered over the phone, picked up in 15min. 5min drive home. Money and time down the drain

We've been happily coming here since the pandemic and it's still my favorite pizza place. Our family always orders two pizzas and their refillable lemonades - the blood orange flavor is great. We've tried some new-to-us pizzas over the years, including the beef back rib and arugula and pesto lemon shrimp, but our favorite will always be the calabrese. The spiciness of the meat and sweetness of the honey complement each other so well, and I get hungry every time I think of it. We had my son's birthday dinner here last year and were very satisifed with the meal for our group of eleven. The pizzas were delicious and plentiful, the service was awesome, and the birthday boy enjoyed an awesome cheesecake with ice cream. I had made a reservation with Paris and he took very good care of us. Shout out to Dominique and Essandro (sp?) for their wonderful service as well!

First time at this restaurant. We sat in the 2nd floor. The pizza flavors was very unique compared to the usual commom pizza flavors. Their ceasar salad had a different added lemony taste. The ambiance inside is nice with dim yellow lights. The service was a bit slow, but then again we came as a really big group. I'm not really a pizza person, but my favorite pizza was the funghi pizza.

Went here for dinner with my friends recently and all the pizzas were so yummy! They were pretty busy on a Thursday night as well but the food came out pretty fast. There was a bunch of options to choose from but we ordered the burrata, Ccalabrese + honey, and funghi pizzas. Definitely devoured those slices of pizza. I recommend coming here if you're craving some wood fired oven pizza with a good ambiance.

It's funny how many different places you can get pizza from on Burlingame Ave, but I definitely recommend Rise Pizzeria. I prefer Rise Pizzeria because not only is their food very good, but they have excellent service. Even when they're busy, we don't have to wait too long to be seated and our food always comes out fast. I also enjoy how open the layout is and it's a great place to eat outside. Perfect family friendly dining for a lovely evening on Burlingame Ave. All the pizzas I've had are very flavorful and delicious. I also highly recommend the buffalo wings. Though you have an abundance of options to choose from on Burlingame Ave, you won't be disappointed with Rise Pizzeria!

Wood fired pizza they have a lot of logs inside for that oven. It gets very busy and is popular. Tried the sausage pizza and wedge salad. Everything was delicious and went well with a beer. There are plenty of beers on tap to choose from. Good pizza place thumbs up from me!

The most important test of a good pizza: how does it taste the next morning. Rise pizza is absolute delicious fresh AND amazing the next morning! The thin crust really holds up. And the flavors and ingredients are all so fresh and flavorful! The brunch pizza was hands down my favorite. Who doesn't love potato on pizza?! But everything we got was so good! I loved the spicy honey on the Calabrian pizza! And the pesto shrimp...*chefs kiss*. The beets with burratta was the perfect app for four adults (although I could have eaten two orders by myself). And the wings were some of the best I've had! The buffalo sauce was exactly what a buffalo sauce should be! Nice and spicy! And the chicken was so fall off the bone that you could strip it in one bite! We sat inside but the patio seems like it would be so cozy!!! We also loved the signs on the wall that told you about the ingredients and the ovens (they have names!). We also had two young kids with us. It was so easy with seating and they loved the food too! Will hands down be coming back to try more of the pizzas! And get the brunch, wings, and burratta again!
