Cool cafe concept with a cozy and relaxing vibe where you can sip unique drinks or have a bite to eat while playing games or working. There's a wide menu selection with plenty of regular and seasonal drinks to choose from as well as food ranging from breakfast & lunch to snacks & desserts. We ordered two iced drinks from the seasonal menu. Then we were given a number to sit where we wanted and we opted for the cough area by the stairs. If you prefer your coffee strong, you'll like the Mont Blanc Mindthief, consisting of cold brew, housemade black sugar, cream top, nutmeg, and orange zest. For $8 it's a bit on the pricey side given that it's 10oz and there was a giant ice cube but expected since it's a seasonal drink. The Holiday Spellweaver was matcha with housemade cranberry strawberry puree and milk. I was pleasantly surprised because I could definitely taste the cranberry and I like that it's a unique holiday spin on the typical strawberry matcha drinks that have gained popularity over the years. This drink was $7.50 which is about the going rate for strawberry matcha these days. While sipping our drinks, we played some of the free games available. I'm adding this place to my list to visit again and try the other drinks and food!

New café on Broadway in Burlingame was a great delight to visit! I love the good amount of drinks, both standard and more innovative, as well as the variety of breakfast, brunch, or lunch options available on their menu. It was not crowded at all on a Monday mid morning with plenty of seats available indoors. Staff was super friendly, welcoming and nice.I tried the Tokyo fog Matcha drink with pandan syrup. The drink itself was a 3/5. I was quite impressed that the pandan flavor really came through however, I missed the entire taste of matcha. I think next time I'll just stick with a regular Matcha latte instead. Would definitely come by again and try some food items next time.

What a wonderful cafe to have on Broadway! Ambiance is warm, comfortable and spacious. My daughter and I enjoyed a breakfast burrito and avocado toast with chai lattes. Both dishes were excellent and we are eager to try their other items on the menu. The breakfast burrito was filling and I saved half for later. The accompanying salsa was nice and spicy. We didn't have time to play a game but maybe next time we'll do that and enjoy our drinks while spending time together.

I loved the drink selections, especially the assortment of specialty drinks, and I loved the ambience, but I hated the fact that when I got my drink delivered to the table, they also brought a sign that showed exactly when my laptop time (and hence my time at the cafe) would be up. I had already read a very clear sign on the table indicating there was an hour limit on laptops and WiFi use, and perhaps not everyone reads or follows instructions, but that EXTRA sign just seemed like overkill. Honestly, if it's such an issue I say they should just allow NO laptops or have an auto time out on the WiFi. Either would have left a better taste in my mouth.

Didn't play any board games here, but seen a lot of tables doing so! This place is huge, many tables available for larger groups. It's $10 per person for 2 hours or $5 for kids under 12. Hourly extension cost $5/hr.Parking was easy to find in this part of down town. They have a bunch of food and drinks on their menu. I got the fog Tokyo Fog and paid extra for einspanner style. It was delicious, loved the matcha with pandan syrup! The girls were very nice at the counter. They also have alcoholic beverages available.

Cute little café. Grab something to eat and drink then grab something to play. Enjoy your food while you play. Don't forget to bus your table afterwards! We had three mushroom omelette and mushroom and fontina toast. Toast is great! Omelet is delicious. Bread is greatly toasted. Latte is great too. Apple n pumpkin is definitely apple juice with foam and pumpkin spice. I thought it's coffee, oops!Something different than we are used to but it's a great concept! Definitely something to check out if you're on the area! Service is quick and fast but quality is there.Paid parking everywhere. Small space. Games everywhere. Free or pay to play.

Plucky's is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! It's low key but serves up an astounding menu and is a place that you can just sit and chill for several hours while you play some games. There is a fee to play the games but that's probably to keep you honest and ensure that heathens don't completely destroy them. I really enjoyed the butterscotch latte I ordered yesterday. It was velvety and had the perfect balance of sweetness from the butterscotch and the more bitter, fudgier notes from the espresso.Looking for more return trips!

It was packed this Sunday as we came in - which is usually a good sign. My friend managed to snag us a table and we moved some chairs over to accommodate our group. The menu and decor are charming and their game library look robust. They only have one unisex bathroom, which is roomy and clean, but that means there can be a bit of a wait. You are expected to clean up and put away your own dishes (which is on the right side of the cafe when entering) but they will deliver your viands to you.We each placed an order for a drink or a dish and everything sounded really good. The average price for a simple fare is ~$15 with the breakfast dishes being $19 and up. Drinks were about $7-8. I ordered the soup of the day with Acme bread and my friends ordered Iced Tea, Tokyo Fog, Butterscotch Kraken, and grilled cheese sandwich with a cup of soup. The presentation for all the drinks and food were lovely. The dishware were beautifully glazed and hefty, and the lattes had basic latte art. They were filled to the brim and none of it spilled when being delivered to the table. I enjoyed my soup but wished it had pieces of mushrooms and some parsley flakes. The cup of soup looked small to me for the price. We both agreed the mushroom soup obviously came from a can and could use some sprucing up. I sampled the Tokyo Fog and didn't really taste the matcha. The mild flavor of pandan and milk were the dominant taste. My friend's iced tea had a large cube of ice with a lemon frozen in it. We were tickled by that added touch. My other friend enjoyed their Butterscotch Kraken, although I will note the graham crackers is only added to the rim of the mug.Lastly, my friend thought the grilled cheese sandwich was just ok. It looked nice but it wasn't anything special. We both enjoyed the buttered Acme bread and found it toasted just right. While we were eating, some of my friends were teaching each other how to shuffle cards; and one of the servers came over, assumed we were playing a game when we weren't, and immediately put a stand with the end time of our free hour on the table. We thought that was abrupt and slightly rude. Two of us were still eating so no one was playing any games.I guess if you show any game pieces, it means you are playing a game? Btw, I emailed them an inquiry and they can be slow to respond. I didn't hear anything for 2-3 days.

Plucky's is my favorite cafe in the peninsula! I've been here 3 times and every person I've brought with me has loved this spot. Their food and drinks have consistently been delicious during every visit. The ambiance is lovely too and there's plenty of space for everyone. I always look forward to coming in because the staff is very welcoming every time. For the board games, they have a fair collection of free games to use as well as a very expansive paid selection. There are plenty of games for all ages too.

The vibe here rates four stars. Very welcoming, and with the gaming on a Sunday morning there is a nice energy in the room. The food was just okay: Sausage breakfast burrito: 3/5 stars. Kinda bland.
