Wasn't sure what to expect - but loved it. With the snarky bumper stickers (which mildly insult the customers) stuck to the bar counter, it reminded me a bit of the nuthouse of yesteryear. We asked our bartender Trish what she recommended and she didn't even slightly hesitate - she just started mixing. And served up some well balanced magic. She said it was her version of a Sexy MF. Strong recommended. Will be back.

If you're looking for a dive bar vibe, Paul and Harvey's has that in spades, but unfortunately, that's about where the positives end for me.**The Atmosphere:** Sure, it's a classic dive bar with a pool table and a laid-back feel, but it also comes with a lingering odor that really dampened the experience. It felt a bit neglected, which made it hard to enjoy my time there.**Cash Only:** Let's talk about the cash-only policy. In this day and age, it's a huge inconvenience! I appreciate a good dive, but with the smell and payment issues, I don't think I'll be making a return visit. There are just too many other spots out there that offer a better experience!

3.5 STARSDate: Saturday, April 6th, 2024Time: around 7:30pmParty of: 4Note: Cash Only*Red Wine*Jameson and Ginger*Jameson*Coca ColaWe were in the area and stopped in for a round. Got the beverages above. The bill was $30 and I tipped $7 on top. It wasn't too busy, so we easily grabbed a high top. This very much has a dive bar feel, so I normally go for straight pours. The jameson I got was a decent size. Not sure how all the drinks split price wise, but guessing about $9 each considering one beverage was just a soda. My gf who basically just drinks red wine did not care for her beverage. It was the bottom of the bottle tho and their only red wine avail, so who knows how long it had been open.If I was in the area and just wanted to chill and drink or play a few bar games, this would be a good option.

If you want to say you were at the historic Paul & Harvey, Go! Other than that, nothing special. It seems run down, drinks are pricey, and the most inconvenience is the Only Cash Only rule. I will say though, I enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia on the wall.

5 stars for Kimberly, the bartender! Only been here twice but she makes the most amazing drinks. I have never had a Moscow Mule with double shots of Grey Goose for just $9... I'll take 5, please. This is a typical dive bar with a much older crowd. Honestly not a huge fan of older men trying to talk to me though, so my friends and I chug our drinks then head out. However, they have a jukebox, pool table, TVs, and darts!I definitely recommend this bar if you want cheap and fast drinks.

Your standard dive bar. I still quite enjoy this local bar even though there is nothing very remarkable about it. Located in the heart of downtown. Offers pool tables, but you get random balls. Sometimes multiple of the same ball, so you have to get creative. Has a few dartboard machines. Darts are bent and machine will register next players turn if you take to long to remove your darts from the board. Drinks are good.

Long ass, unpretentious dive bar with 3 pinball games, 2 electronic dart boards, pool tables, and every square inch covered in signage. Paul & Harvey, Paul & Harvey. After a few drinks it might be Hell and Pervey.

Went there, left there after waiting to be served and the bartender was too busy talking with her friends. She looked at me a few times, then carried on yakking away. Unfriendly vibe. I didn't spend my money at this dump. I mean, if this is all there is after everything on this strip closes, I guess it might be worth it to buy a drink here. But better yet, just door-dash something over to your home. Why suffer through the dinginess and nasty looks of this place. I was thinking about two stars, but what the heck, let's just be honest, IMHO this place is a dump. Low-quality liquor on the shelves, hostile bartender, filthy customers around. Skip this place....interesting to note that this place somehow manages to bury all its One-Star reviews as "Not Recommendend." I guess the fix is in.

I like to stop by this place on friday and saturday nights at around 11pm, there's many people here a lot of the time at that time, and i usually have a great time shooting pool with friends, and listening to good music on the jukebox, it's great for the over 21 crowd at the times and days mentioned above, and it is right in the heart of downtown sunnyvale right off murphy street! there's a dance club next door, the crowd at the bar is primarily for people over 40, but i still highly recommend it for anyone who wants to have a good time! alcohol prices are also reasonable. ;) ;).
