Had a poor dining experience. We ordered online and our food wasn't ready until 25 minutes past the pickup time (original time was 42 min wait, total time of 67 minutes).I don't mind waiting but the #1 cardinal sin of food service is don't serve hot food cold. Four of five items was luke warm or cold. A restaurant of this caliber should have better food warming logistics.

Went in for lunch. Place is nice. Bartender was very nice. I didn't know what I wanted and I asked if I should get the bangers and mash or the parish pie. She recommended the parish pie and I'm really glad she did because it was ****ing delicious.

Good stop during a road trip up the 1. Fish and chips were unique since they use salmon. Some of the best garlic fries I've had, they don't skimp out on the garlic.

Came here without knowing much about it but heard it had an interesting beer selection so we figured it would be a good spot for a New Year's Eve lunch. The beer selection was quite interesting and I ended up choosing the Luminous Quasar which was a very flavorful Imperial IPA. For my lunch I had the Ooey Gooey Burger which was a classic burger with brie and roasted garlic, and I got it with garlic fries. The burger was very flavorful and cooked medium rare as I requested. My fries had a lot of garlic however girlfriend who also got garlic fries had barely any on her's which was a little confusing. However she said her burger was delicious and really liked the flavor. The service was good, very attentive and always made sure that our waters were filled up. There was a little miscommunication when I wanted a second beer; I wanted to order a different one to explore more of the beer menu. However when the server asked if I wanted another beer and I said yes, they walked off and a couple minutes later they returned with the Luminous Quasar, which wasn't a bad thing but I was curious about the other craft beers on the menu. Overall this spot was a fun spot to get lunch and grab a drink. It has nice simple items but elevated giving classic bar food some unique twists. I would definitely come back here again and maybe give some of their cocktails a try.

Lovely as always. Great spot to visit for delicious comfort food. Love that they have parking, service is casual and friendly with a rustic ambiance. If you get cold, like me, take a sweater or jacket.

We were in the Santa Cruz area and had trouble finding a lunch restaurant downtown with less than an hour wait on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, so we ventured further to Aptos and stumbled upon Parrish Publick House. Sat outside surrounded by flowers and under shade cover. Whispering Angel rose and a local IPA hit the spot. Highly recommend the Hangover Helper and Dave'O Chicken Sando. The fries are great, but the arlic fries are exceptional. We had the most lovely waiter - super friendly and knowledgable about the menu and the area. And now that I know there is a Parrish Publick House in Santa Cruz, we'll be sure to try that lpcation next time we are visiting.

After a fun time with the dogs at the beach, we needed a dog-friendly restaurant and this place welcomes dogs in their back patio. They even have dog cuisine on their menu! We were given water for the dogs right away, which is always much appreciated. Unfortunately, we waited a long time to get our drinks, just a soda and an iced tea. I'm sure they were short-handed. And although we eventually got an apology and the drinks were comped, this extended wait put a pall over what otherwise would have been a lovely meal. The food was all good. We had the fried artichoke hearts, and they were pretty good. My husband ordered an Irish Wolfhound (sausage) sandwich and my daughter and I split an Out and In burger (animal style) and a veggie sandwich. For sides, I chose French fries, which were excellent. My daughter chose their house-made potato chips, which had a salty/sweet BBQ flavor, and my husband had a side salad.

I like Parish. It is: consistent, close by, the food is good and price is reasonable. I would LOVE to see some new items. Maybe a seasonal salad, Baja tacos, pot-pie, French Onion Soup, risotto, a shrimp dish, Tuna melt, fried chicken and waffles??? Our options in Aptos are so limited, it would be nice to have some variety.
