Came here on a date night with my bro after being impressed with the reviews on Yelp! I'm a big fan of Greek food, and don't feel like I eat it often enough. The vibes in the photos looked perfect for a chill night out with delicious food and drinks!I made a reservation through OpenTable, which was helpful to make sure we didn't have to wait. The place was decently busy, but definitely not full for a Saturday night. We came after dark, which I recommend, as I think it really highlights the lighting and aesthetics! DRINKS:Slay (vodka, white rum, muddled fresh berries, fresh lime juice & ginger beer - $14): This was such a delicious cocktail, I got two! Highly recommended for a smooth, fruity cocktail that's got a little kick. Latte ($6): My buddy got this one instead of his second round of adult beverages, and had really good things to say about this as a pairing with the Profiteroles. FOOD:We came with the intention of ordering a handful of starters and other dishes to share. This is a great spot for that, as they have lots of delicious shareable dishes!Pita Bread - The warm, fresh tasting pita bread comes free as if you were at an Italian spot bringing you a basket of fresh bread. The only difference is they don't offer free olive oil or balsamic vinegar to dip. This is where they get you, by enticing you to get some of the delicious "Greek Spreads" so that you're not eating dry pita. Tzatziki (sheep milk yogurt, cucumber, fresh mint & dill - $9): This was a delicious take on a classic spread/dip. It was creamy and flavorful. Paired perfectly with the pita, as well as the other dishes that needed a little cool contrast. Tirokafteri (roasted bell pepper, imported spicy herbs & feta cheese - $9): Another creamy and delicious dip. This one was a little spicier than the Tzatziki, but not too spicy. My buddy, who is really sensitive to spicy things, loved this one! The feta was a nice touch on the top and added some great flavor!Calamari (deep fried Monterey calamari with housemade tartar sauce - $16): My buddy ordered this one, as I'm very particular about the calamari I like. I did try a few pieces, and as someone who isn't huge on calamari, this was good. It wasn't overly chewy (one of my biggest gripes), and the breading was flavorful.Zucchini Cake (crispy zucchini cakes with cucumber & mint-yogurt dressing - $14): These were good, not great. I enjoyed the crispiness and fresh taste, though the flavor didn't blow me away. I probably would pass on these in the future. Oven Baked Prawns (wood-oven roasted prawns with tomato, onion, fresh basil & feta - $14): These were also good but not great. I would consider ordering this again, but I feel like I was hoping for a little more bold flavorful that stuck with me. Saghanaki (pan fried Kefalotyri cheese with lemon & oregano - $13): This was the star of the show. What the description doesn't mention, is that they pan fry it right in front of you! It comes in a small skillet, and it gets lit at your table. Once the flame goes out, what's left is some incredibly crispy and flavorful cheese.Brussel Sprouts (marinated crispy Brussel sprouts - $9): Indeed crispy and delicious. I definitely enjoyed these, and would order them again!Greek Fries (French fries with mild spicy garlic yogurt fondue - $9): This was a solid portion of deliciously seasoned fries. They were a great side to everything, and were perfect dipped in the Tzatziki and Tirokafteri.Homemade Profiteroles (homemade hollow pastry filled with French vanilla gelato and topped with melted chocolate sauce - $9): What an incredible dessert! The presentation on this was amazing, and it was so good! The flavors paired amazingly together, and it was the perfect way to end a wonderful meal!Overall this was a meal to remember. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating, and the food was authentic and amazing. The vibes are perfect for a date night, friends dinner, or any meal where you just want incredible food! I look forward to bringing the wifey here for a night out very soon to try some more of these delicious dishes!IG: @bbnem.eats

Came here for a team dinner after work so we had a huge group. The waiter was super patient, polite and funny! The salads and Mezcal Plater was on the house and tasted super delicious! The salad comes with Greek cheese and it tasted really fresh!I ordered the Octopus and the Lamb Shank for myself, the food was super tender and juicy! I highly recommend! It normally would come in three, but we had an option to add 1 more piece so that me and my other coworker can evenly shared! For dessert, we had this vanilla ice cream choux! Super yummy and comforting after a long work day!I love this place and had a great first time experience here!

We came here for a casual lunch while shopping in dwtn Burlingame. The appetizers looked great so we ended up sharing 3 apps and a main between 2 people which was the perfect amount of food. We started with the baked prawns in tomato sauce, zucchini cakes, and grilled octopus. The prawns were my favorite in a flavorful basil and feta tomato sauce and perfect paired with the complimentary pita bread. The zucchini cakes were more zucchini balls which was a bit surprisingly and I wish they were flat and crisper as I wasn't a fan of the mushy texture. For our main, we got the grilled lamb chops with orzo. Loved the lamb which was perfectly cooked and super flavorful! We were deciding between the lamb shank or lamb chops but will have to come back to try the other dish.

Had a really excellent dinner experience here - the service went above and beyond to make our party happy and all the food was excellent. This is a higher end spot, and the prices reflect that, but it's worth it for a nice night out.We ordered a sampler of all their dips and the whole group enjoyed every single one. They are generous with the pita for dipping and one of our party is gluten intolerant so they specifically brought a plate of veggies for them to dip! They were also able to serve a cake we brought for a birthday and made us all feel well taken care of. Thank you Mykonos Meze!!

Second time here. This place absolutely crushed it. This place is my standard of what a five star spot is: great food, great service, great value. We ordered some same items from last time but also tried something new. We loved the octopus, zucchini cake, and the egg lemon soup. Our server was super attentive, collecting our empty plates and dirty napkins and refilling water and pita very quickly. The only nitpick of the night: our appetizers and side dishes came too quickly (good), by the time our main course lamb shank came out there's not much else left. We were already mostly full lol, so we had to take the lamb shank home. The appetizers and side dishes were so good we finished too quickly. Maybe pacing the dishes a little would be helpful :)

Overall great experience for a girls night out. The restaurant is beautiful, food is full of flavor and a nice crowd mix. The bar is gorgeous and staff are nice and welcoming.Only reason for 4 stars is waiter made us feel slightly rushed. We were celebrating a birthday and weren't actually welcomed to the restaurant, asked if special occasions, etc. Overall highly recommend for a good time and good food !

I love Mykonos Meze! One of the best places to eat in Burlingame, hands down. I've come here several times and I've always been seated within minutes, even without a reservation (though I'd recommend making one just in case you want to go on a popular night, since the restaurant is usually pretty crowded). Both the interior and outside are fun and have a great vibe - you really can't go wrong! Each time I've come here, I've tried something different, and I've honestly never been disappointed. Some of my favorites include: the keftedes, the zucchini cakes, and the lamb shank. But all the dishes I've tried here have been rich, flavorful, and hearty! And because it's tapas style, it's easy to try several delicious dishes every time you go. They also offer bottomless pita bread, which is a very nice touch. The drinks are also excellent, and you could really even come just for a few cocktails if that's what you were looking for! I'm a particular fan of the Greek Mule, Smoky Smoky, and Gettin' Figgy With It.The service has also been excellent every time I've been here. I'm consistently impressed at how prompt the servers are and how fast the food and drinks are prepared, despite the fact that the restaurant is usually packed... They've clearly got their operation down to a science! If you're ever in downtown Burlingame, you owe it to yourself to try Mykonos Meze. Whenever I'm hosting people from out of town, this is the spot I take them. It's open late, the energy is always electric and bustling, and the food, drinks, and service are fantastic - what else can you ask for?

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant staff welcomed our large party warmly and even allowed us to order drinks before everyone had arrived. During the appetizer phase, we were treated to a delicious variety of both hot and cold appetizers. The pacing was spot-on, allowing us to sample everything without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. For the entrée, I had the Branzino with a side of pilaf rice, and it was absolutely amazing, the fish was cooked to perfection. For dessert, I ordered the baklava ice cream. While I wasn't a huge fan of it (the ratio of baklava to ice cream felt a bit off), it was still a sweet and enjoyable way to end the meal.Definitely a great restaurant, and I'll be sure to visit again when I'm in the area!

Came here on a Saturday date night to only outdoor seating, with parking being a little difficult to find despite the plethora of spaces. Since their indoor dining was full, we opted the outside dining option. Overall the meal was about $110 for 2 with tip, so definitely not on the cheap side. The outside patio really makes me wonder what the inside looks like. As nice as the interior ambiance is, dining outdoors is just an experience at any other restaurant with an outdoor patio. The price does NOT justify the outdoor experience.Service was also pretty mediocre, at best. We repeatedly had to call wait staff over to order, questions asked at one staff member wasn't redirected to another when needed, and overall did not feel like a proper dining experience since we had multiple staff (3-4) tend to our table. I did not even know who to call because I barely saw our "main" waiter, but I guess that's the woes of outdoor seating. We ordered a Meze platter, a lamb shank, and a Mykonos Souvlaki. The meze platter sampler is defintely a must order since all the dips are house made, and pairs very well with the pita bread (which is unlimited and free). There are 7 different dips, so there is something for everyone. The lamb shank had a very heavy taste of the lamb, to a point where I had to share the dish to avoid throwing up due to how strong the taste is. Even if the meat is very tender and the orzo and sauces are really good, the light seasonings on the shank itself was not enough to cover the taste. Do not recommend. The souvlaki was pretty good, but I felt the price to be wayy too steep for what is essentially 2 beef skewers and some vegetables. I get that a place like this is quality over quantity, but honestly, it just tasted like grilled beef I could make at home. If you're a little price conscious, I would avoid this dish as well.I get that this restaurant is supposed to be upscale, but the lack of quality service and overpriced food, I would not come to this place again. As good as the environment is, the price tag vs portion size and taste does NOT justify itself. The meze platter is the only dish I recommend, but definitely avoid the lamb shank as it holds a very, very strong gamey/stinky smell and taste.

We came here for my husband's birthday yesterday. Our older daughter made a reservation for birthday lunch celebration at noon and we got seated right away. The place was not busy when we arrived on Saturday, but definitely people started coming. The ambiance was different from a traditional Greek restaurant. There were disco balls hanging from the ceiling. Since it was V-day last Friday, they still had the decoration of hearts which was nice. My daughter & I ordered two glasses of red Sangiovese for drinks and the rest settled for water. We were given two baskets of warm pita breads. For appetizers, we ordered the Meze Platter, Keftedes and Zucchini Cake. It was our first time dining at this restaurant so I had to call the server's attention to describe the combination platter (grit, beans, tzatziki, karato, Lachano, Elise, acuka). We did not understand the most words he said. We felt his service was kind of cold. The Keftedes were not meatballs as described but flat but good though especially with the tomato sauce & oregano taste. The Zucchini Cakes were more balls and not crisper as the texture was mushy. Each one ordered the main course. I got the Psari, an oven baked Branzino fish topped with sliced lemon and arugula greens on the side & cherry tomatoes. Nothing special with the fish. My younger daughter & her bff shared the Moscharisia Brizola. They said the rib-eye was dry but the fire ignite presentation was nice though. My older daughter ordered the Boutakia Kotopoulo. She liked the marinated & grilled chicken thigh taste. Her husband had the Arnisia Paidakia. He liked the delicious lamb chops. Lastly my husband got the Yemista. He said the sundried bell peppers were okay. For desserts, we ordered the Baklava ice cream and it was yummy. We also had a separate Mykonos Baklava. There were two small baklava with candles served. It was my husband's bday but we also celebrated the advance bday of our younger daughter's bff. It was nice when the staff sang along with the birthday song and at the end said Opa! We had left over to go as we were full from the appetizers. Overall I recommend Mykonos for a good time if you are in the neighborhood.
