Amazing views, and the best cioppino I've had. I also recommend the mussels appetizer.

Food, drinks and service amazing every time. We always reserve the oyster booth if available for the viewThe first time we came here I got the pacific sunset and it's been my go-to drink whenever we visit. I recommend getting the lobster mac and cheese as part of your main. And for dessert, warm apple crumble and a cappuccino on the side!

Saw a video on the tok about this place. Was there within a few days. Did not make a reservation. If you want a table watching the sunset. I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation. We sat in the bar area for happy hour for our entire dining experience. A wait for a table was three hours. Loved all the drinks we ordered during happy hour and all the food was yummy. Maybe next time we will make a reservation but honestly I enjoyed being in the bar area.

I had lunch here last Saturday. They open exactly at 12 noon and not a minute earlier. Ordered the New York Strip Steak with Lobster Mac & Cheese. I told them to cook the steak medium rare but it came out medium. That's fine as the steak was still good and juicy. Lobster Mac & Cheese was good too. A couple of good sized lobster meat in it. For desert, I got the Blood Orange Sorbet. I loved the subtle, sweet tart taste to it. The food was great but I think the best part of this restaurant was that it was right up near the breaking waves. It seemed to be high tide too so sometimes a big, breaking wave would crash against the windows. The tables are oriented so that you have a wonderful view of the ocean. It's probably really beautiful if you have dinner near sunset. Wait staff was great and they always asked if I wanted some more coffee.

Made reservations and was seated as soon as I arrived and an amazing window seat. The views here are really beautiful. The service is great as well. To drink I tried pacific sunset and siren somg both were good. For starters I ordered the crab cakes and coconut prawns both great. The lobster mac and cheese was watery and not flavored at all sadly. For the entree the lobster tail and new york strip which wasn't bad. This restaurant is located in a hotel and there is a parking garage.

Moonraker is as good as we remembered when we last visit at least five years ago. Reservation is easy and convenient with Yelp. No crowd for lunch. It's a very relaxing vibe with nice ocean view and live piano music. For a party of 4, we ordered crispy calamari, bowl of chowder, half a dozen oyster, cioppino, Petrale sole, seafood pasta, and molten chocolate cake. We liked everything! My favorite is their cioppino. It happened to be the crab season so we got to try their Dungeness crab cioppino. Oysters are a little small but they are fresh. We'll definitely be back for special occasions!

All night happy hour on Thursdays? Sign me up! A friend and I came here after trying to get into a local wine bar that was closed for a private event. She mentioned the all night happy hour at Moonraker and we decided to check it out.Seating is in bar area only and on a first come, first serve basis. We arrived right before 6 p.m. and the place was packed. Luckily, we were able to grab the last table. Oysters were $1.50 each. House cocktails $8.95 each. Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was lively and there was even a person playing the piano. Knowing about the happy hour deals, I'm definitely adding Moonraker, a local oldie and prior fave, to my rotation list.
