Mix Huevos is an amazing breakfast and lunch spot in the South Bay! Their flavors remind me of homestyle cooking! Everything we ordered was top-notch! The menu has a ton of options and has lots of drinks to choose from! I highly recommend that you make this place your next breakfast stop! Don't miss out!Excellent service! The host who sat us gave my son some valentines balloons they had upfront! Super nice! It was packed but we were sat very quickly! Only 2o min wait! Our server was so kind! I forgot to get her name but she was very patient and kind to me and my family! It was such an amazing experience! The vibe was very nice! You knew this place has a buzz going on and it was clear to see! This is a must visit!

Our visit was a complete disaster. Let me list them for you upfront:* Filthy silverware* Lipstick on one of the water glasses* The platter of coffee creamers at our table were all USED* Bug in one of our watersThat's before any of the food arrived. Now let's start with the food. * Overcooked EGGS. If "Huevos" is literally in your restaurant's name, it better deliver on eggs. The eggs for my husband's burrito and my scrambled eggs were dense and over cooked. * I got the verde chilaquiles. Came out completely soggy and lukewarm. How is this possible when we were the second table to arrive?? No one was there. I maybe had five bites and I just couldn't finish it. * My husband waited 20 mins for the house made salsa for his burrito. When it came out, he was practically done with his meal and the get this the salsa was hot - like a soup. I'm going to throw them a bone and give them two stars instead of one because 1) my daughters Mickey pancakes were at least decent, and two, the server Cynthia seemed pretty apologetic for all the mishaps. Disappointing because there aren't a lot of local breakfast spots in the area. All around UGHHHH.

I searched far and wide for a good brunch spot with gluten and dairy free options--a surprisingly difficult task in the bay as compared to Austin. Mix Huevos came up and we decided to try it. It ended up being a great choice! We came as a group of 8 + 2 high chairs on a Saturday for brunch. Parking was tight, the lot was full but we got lucky and snagged a spot as someone left. At 12:30ish, the wait was only 20-30 minutes. They had a nice seating area outside to wait. The hosts and servers were all kind and the place was poppin. Lots of people, including families and kids. Good for large groups. Pretty busy and loud but nothing bothersome. Something I really appreciated was that they took our kids' order first with drinks so they could get food out for the little ones asap--SO thoughtful and helpful. The food is a mix between Mexican and standard American brunch--so many options! My husband struggled to choose. They also have a substantial drink menu and I opted for the paradiso. It was delicious! And just about everything we ordered was gobbled up and resulted in two thumbs up. Overall a great brunch spot, especially for kids and groups.

Solid breakfast. I like their variety of "breakfast" cocktails. However, I would skip on their breakfast espresso martini and do the regular kind. Instead of lox, they use salmon fillets on their benedict - which is a plus. Potatoes are excellent, especially in the "three little pigs" meal.

I saw this restaurant circulating on the internet and advertised their pancake the best in San Jose. So I had to investigate. Upon arriving we had an absolutely fantastic experience at Mix Huevos! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations that didn't disappoint. The food was incredible--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight! If you're looking for a spot with amazing dishes and even better service, Mix Huevos is the place to go. We'll definitely be back! Another surprised we had our picture taken. Great advertisement

Waited about 1 hour for a table on a busy Sunday morning. They were pretty busy. Best part: they had pictures for everything on the menu! Ordered the crab cake benedict and the chile verde omelette. Food was good and the portions were great. Downside was the service, was so busy we had to ask several people for ketchup, and for drink refills. Had to chase our server down for the check. Would recommend this place for brunch if you're thinking about it, just go early!

Don't be deterred by the many groups of people waiting for a table. This restaurant knows how to flip tables like nothing. For drinks I tried orange juice and coffee (separately). Both were great! I got the berry pancake combo which came with 2 eggs and protein of choice. The berry sauce on the pancakes was absolute heaven. My partner got the verde chilaquiles with tri tip steak. The chilaquiles were cooked perfectly both texture and flavor. The steak was very chewy. Like I said they flip tables quick so service is great. Our waiter was very available and everything arrived quickly. We were in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes. Worth the wait!Overall I'd come back for another yummy brunch!

Interesting little spot that caught our eye are we were driving through. It's like an old fashioned cafe they added their logo to. Kinda love it. Hubs and I both had Chilaquiles with rib eye streak. The stake was season and cooked so so well, absolutely delicious breakfast. I enjoyed my coffee too. Service was great. Only thing I don't love is the person taking pictures and hassling for a sale. I do t think it's necessary.

There was a lot to choose from on the menu and I came in STARVING, which may not have been the smartest idea, cause we started off with Tres leches pancakes which totally filled me up before the main course (can that be a thing at 11am, courses? Sure.) super sweet and flavorful cakes, but would have liked more sauce! I got Tri tip Benedict with papas bravas. The Benedict was delicious and perfectly cooked but the papas were inedible, it was as if the filter fell off the chili flake container when pouring it out. If I hadn't been so full from the pancakes I would have said something but it wasn't worth it Service - coffee & water always filledWilling to give it another shot if someone else suggests it and wouldn't steer someone away

Tried Mix Huevos for the first time, and it definitely lived up to the hype!We ordered the chilaquiles, strawberry cheesecake waffles, and the Mickey Mouse pancake, all paired with the Brunch Punch (a refreshing, non-alcoholic mix of juices and sparkling water). * The chilaquiles were fantastic--the salsa was flavorful, and the chips stayed crispy, which we loved. The steak was a bit dry for our taste, but when we brought it up with our server, they handled it promptly and professionally--great customer service! * The strawberry cheesecake waffles were absolutely delicious--easily the star of the meal. * The Mickey Mouse pancake didn't quite look like Mickey, but my son didn't mind at all. It tasted great, and he enjoyed it!Even though there was a bit of a wait, the food and service made it worth it. We'll definitely be back!
