Just found my new go to burger spot in Fremont and it makes me happy to say it's locally owned! These burgers are WAYGU! And you can definitely taste it in every bite. Service was great! Plenty of outdoor seating! Food was fresh and made with high quality ingredients! Don't sleep on their shrimp either. We got the surf and turf combo with garlic fries! Go here once and I promise you'll be coming back!

On my most recent visit, I got the fish and chips. I'm fairly certain the fish is catfish, but I could be wrong. 70% of the fish nuggets had a metallic taste and the flesh was kind of mushy. The batter was pretty good, it had a nice crisp and crunchy shell. The fries were pretty good. I would generally opt for an upgrade for garlic fries. Not sure why, but my previous reviews of this place were removed so I don't quite recall all the details about the foods I have tried here. I think I've tried the chicken sandwich, fried scallops, and fried shrimp. I remember that they are just okay. It has been awhile since I've had them so maybe they changed the recipe. I wouldn't order them again knowing that the beef burgers are probably the best thing this restaurants serves.

WOW super surprised by this place! I have fond memories of this location as I used to come here all the time for Mission Burger :(Once I saw that a new burger spot took over, I had to try it! We ordered the wagyu hamburger, cheeseburger, and the small seafood sampler. The seafood sampler was definitely not small and was enough to feed two people with leftovers! The burgers were a decent size and the veggies tasted really fresh.Overall I'm definitely coming back! Maybe when it's a little warmer though, because it's only outdoor seating.

Great location with outdoor seating available. The food preparation took about 15 minutes before I actually recieved the order. The food did taste fresh and made to order. In my opinion the garlic fries were the highlight. They were wo derfully crispy and had a good garlic flavor. Not overpowering like some other locations. A nice spot for a quick burger and fries

I'm highly influenced by Yelp, so I started seeing folks heading to Mission Tasty Hut and was excited to see that 1) it was open and 2) it served burgers! So the time was right, we were needing lunch and wanted it nearby. In the end, it was kind of underwhelming. Service was good and food came out in a timely manner. I just don't think I'd be back soon.L O C A T I O NMission Tasty Hut is in a small plaza on Anza St. The parking is small both streetside and private parking area shared by the different restaurants and businesses in the plaza.M E N UThe menu is available online as you probably should do your order online so it's a quicker pick up experience. Ordering online was pretty easy but you can miss some specials if you're not looking closely. They have burgers as well as some seafood options and chicken. But I think their selling point here is that they do wagyu burgers. We decided to get a wagyu burger and fish and chips and did a last minute small clam chowder as it was only an additional $2 for a bowl as one of their specials.~ Wagyu Beef Burger ~Although it was tasty, the patty was small and thin. But I'm sure it was quality beef. I just would rather get my burgers somewhere else.~ Small Clam Chowder ~Although full of clams, it was very salty.~ Fish & Chips ~Crisp but the fish tasted undercooked. Fries were just okay. Both sauces (tartar and wasabi mayo) were good.S E R V I C EThis is pretty much an order online and either take home or eat outside in their patio area that's shared by other establishments. You can order at the hut, but I think it's preferred you order online and just pick up. We did add an extra clam chowder when we picked up and paid at the hut itself and they were quite nice about it.O V E R A L LA nice addition to the other restaurants in the area. Though the burger tasty, you may want to get a double to feel like you're eating a burger but wish they had one without cheese. I would skip their fish and clam chowder but maybe they've improved it. Either way, probably better than your fast food option. But unlikely to be back here again unless we get lazy for lunch or we want to try out their other menu items.

as Illenium would sing, " Good things fall apart" as our beloved local hamburger spot in town known as "Mission Burger" I remember growing up and coming to this place a lot with my dad. He would have me go up to the counter and order because he was scared of the lady that had previously worked and Ran Mission Burger. years later Just as if Bell had broken the spell to Beast (Beauty and the Beast) and his whole castle got a facelift Mission Burger got one as well. Im not sure why my dad waited so long to want to try the burgers here as the wicked witch of the west was no longer working and probably following the Yellow Brick Road. I don't like how you can not make orders up at the counter as they prompt you to order through scanning a QR code on your phone. Ordering through the link made it difficult because there was no area to write personal instructions for if modifications were needed. Once I ordered, I quickly flagged down one of the workers and had to verbally tel and explain the modifications that we wanted for our order. At first I think they were really confused, but we ended up getting a free drink because one of us got no cheese on their burger. I like the variety of sides you could get along with your burger such as sweet potato fries, garlic fries, and other seasoned fries. off to the side of the shack stands a large area of many benches with umbrellas gibing a variety of differently sorted shaded seat as the sun begins to set the seating area has lights that turn on and hang over the seats making a really cute area where you could take your instagram girl pictures. I only planned on eating half of my burger because I had planned on going to the gym directly from here taking everything to go. I loved my burger sooooo much along with their garlic fries I finished it all in one sitting. I was very impressed and would definitely reccomend that you try Tasty Hut and I can't wait for my next visit!

Mission Tasty Hut replaces what used to be the old Mission Burger spot. It's been decades since this spot stood vacant. Everyone was so sad to see it close back then. Fortunately, Mission Tasty Hut is not only filling that void but completely elevating the burger scene in Fremont. It's located just off Mission/Anza in that cute, little courtyard. For the last few years, they've closed off part of the parking lot and added umbrella covered, large picnic tables. It's a perfect set-up to get food from one of the 3 or 4 eateries (Japanese, dim sum, boba) in this plaza and grab a seat. This was our first time eating at The Hut and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The hubby had the Wagyu cheeseburger and I had the shrimp burger. Both with garlic fries. It's the first time the hubby ever said "That was a juicy burger. It was simple but delicious". My shrimp burger surprised me. I thought it was going to be a shrimp patty, but instead it was individually breaded shrimp, fried and seasoned to perfection placed atop a soft bun. Seriously...perfectly fried. Perfectly seasoned. So tasty. Also, we both agreed the garlic fries had a good amount of garlic...more than you usually find at other places. Incredibly happy that The Hut has joined the neighborhood and is not only replacing the spot of a Fremont icon, but is sure to become one itself.

Mission Tasty Hut is a new place that opened up a few days ago (9/4/24). They share a kitchen with Ume Tea. Waygu Beef Burgers, chicken sandwiches, Fish & Chips, and French fries mostly. Outdoor seating only or for takeout.Friendly, nice service.I only ordered some original fries. Similar to McDonald's in size and cut. But they added dried parsley with the salt and pepper.

Food:Double cheese burger (3/5): Burger patties felt more cooked through and bread was on the denser than I'd prefer.Garlic Fries (3/5): This is less on the garlic and seasoning side. This might be one off given other reviews I read for this place have higher ratings for the food, and I've only tried this place once.Parking:Shared parking within a plazaFood containers:Noticed that each burger and fries come in box containers. The containers didn't have holes in them punched out like some other burger places as to ensure the crispiness items like the fries.

Great food and fair prices. -order online and it's ready when you arrive. The spicy chicken sandwich is indeed spicy but very tasty as are their burgers.
