Mexican Style Churros

Best Churros Ever. And definitely worth the wait. Came yesterday and there was already a line outside the garage by 7pm. Even though it was pretty freezing outside it helps to have the smell of churros waft through the air while waiting! Even though we waited for about 45 mins it was so worth it. They make it fresh for every order so please be patient! The churro is steaming hot when you get it and so crispy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside of the stick. There is an even coat cinnamon sugar that it's not overbearing sweet!

Updated price as of December 2024, $8 and cash only. We came on an extremely lucky day, only two guys ahead of us, and they already ordered! So it was a short wait today! Warning, if you're waiting in line, make sure you have a lot of time since they only have two burners. We left satisfied and happy with FRESH HOT CHURROS! Eat them fresh guys! GOODLUCK!

Before I always thought Disneyland churros were superior, but I was soo wrong! These are the best churros I've ever tasted in my life! And I've eaten a lot of churros. They make it fresh to order from their garage so it can take a while to get through the line, depending on how many rolls people buy. They only make 2 at a time. The churro is warm and super crispy! Expect to wait, but the wait is so worth it. I've gone twice at night and have waited 50mins both times. Cash only and they are only open during the weekends at specific times. The family is very nice as well.

Heard about Fernando and Gloria's churros from a friend and decided to check it out! Just a heads up - It's only open Fri-Sun and it's cash only. Be prepared to wait as well because we went around 7:30 pm and waited for 30-35 minutes. The churros were super crispy and fried to perfection! I do wish they were a bit more heavy handed with the cinnamon sugar but they were delicious and ran by such a sweet family :) I will happily support this local small business if I'm ever fiending for a churro!

$8 per churro roll, cash only, and prepare for a long wait because they only make max 2 at a time. But OMG -- these are easily the best churros I've ever had. They're better than any concept of a churro I could've even imagined before I took a bite. I'd wanted to bring some home fresh for my family, but I ended up eating segment after segment in the driveway of the home and in my car, and was finished with half the bag by the time I got back. The piping hot fresh fried dough with a super satisfyingly crunchy outside contrasted by the just-barely there soft inside, dusted with cinnamon sugar -- PERFECTION. I can't believe it took me so long to hear about and try this spot!

Was out having late lunch with a friend and longtime resident of the South Bay. We were talking about locally owned eats that we haven't been to and this curious churro stall popped up in our conversation. Posted as open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-9 pm and Sundays from 1:30-9 pm, we lowered our expectations and assumed that they weren't going to open at all. As we passed by 1812 Cunningham Ave around 5:50, the garage door was still closed so parked across the street by the school and waited. Upon seeing a man walk towards the driveway, we followed suit and there was Gloria with her hot pots of oil, cooking the good stuff. From $5 back in 2020, each churro spiral nows costs $7. We got 3 and had them sprinkled with cinnamon sugar on both sides. It was fascinating to watch Gloria feeding the choux dough into the syringe like churrera and piping it into the deep fryer. Crispy and delicious. One of the best churros we've had. Definitely the best delicacy we've tasted from a house garage.

Churros are good, the wait is kind of long tho, if you have the time is worth it, if you don't like to patiently wait then I'll suggest you go somewhere else to get churros.

Also known as Fernando & Gloria's Churros, this spot is nestled in East Side next to Overfelt High School. My friend and I decided to walk over on a Saturday since she lives nearby. Parking is a tad difficult to find in this neighborhood, so I was relieved that that was not an issue. The churros are great, made fresh and snipped up with scissors before being coated in heavenly cinnamon sugar. The texture is crunchy outside with an amazing fluffy inside. We came at 5:50 PM, the place opened at 6 PM with a short line, but each individual order does take time since they make them to-order. We ended up waiting around 30-40 minutes. I haven't had a churro since Costco stopped selling them! The wait was a bit much and it was rainy, so there was a bit of a damper on everyone's mood. I wouldn't wait here by myself again, definitely come with a friend since talking makes the time go by faster.

mmm Churros!! Made to order so y'all be patient. So crispy. You can have them coat the churro on both or one side. Also. We came on a Sunday. They opened at 2pm. Call him before heading over. And. Don't be looking for a storefront. It's from his garage. Look for the green house and possibly a line of people in his driveway. Super friendly man operating his churro business from his garage, next to his washer dryer and a makeshift TV stand.$7 each. He has sauce also but you don't need it. Cash only.
