So sad this place has closed. They were the perfect sized lunch at a reasonable price. Corned beef pan was really good. It had some crispy bits which was a delightful surprise. I don't know it was from the fried in onion or if the corned beef edges were crispy or maybe it was both. The caramelized onions were in the corned beef patty and it was a bit salty as expected from the soy sauce but the pandesal bun and egg balanced it out perfectly. The adobo pan was really good. Flavor of the adobo was traditional with the soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and pepper. I was going to save the whole thing for dinner but decided to take a couple bites to try it fresh and I'm glad I did as there were some crispy onions (I think) in it that would've lost their crisp. The owners wife says to keep following their IG account (@eatmeryenda) as they plan to resurface in the future in some way.

Great for a quick snack spot! It's situated around a little parking area in belmont. They have one table to sit on, but otherwise you would either have to stand or stay in your car for a snack. The staff are very friendly and the food was really good.We grabbed the spam and adobo sandwiches. I would come back here for more, the only downside is that they have short open times.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Meryenda food truck in Belmont, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This gem on wheels serves up some of the best Filipino food I've ever had, and it's all thanks to the incredible chefs, Rich and Anton. From the moment I approached the truck, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly conversation. Rich and Anton's passion for their craft is evident in every interaction and every dish they prepare. Their welcoming demeanor made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. The menu at Meryenda is diverse and filled with mouth-watering options. A standout item for me was the kamote chips--crispy, perfectly seasoned, and utterly addictive. They are a must-have for anyone visiting the truck. I also ordered the Impossible Pandesalwich, which was an absolute delight. The plant-based filling was flavorful and satisfying, nestled in a soft, freshly baked pandesal. It's a fantastic option for both vegetarians and meat-lovers looking to try something new and delicious. The ambiance, even at a food truck, was fantastic. The vibrant, welcoming atmosphere created by Rich and Anton made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is truly commendable. If you're in Belmont and looking for a unique and delicious meal, do yourself a favor and visit the Merienda food truck. Friendly service, incredible food, and a great overall experience await you. I can't wait to return and try more from their amazing menu!

Whether you have the munchies from smoking weed or need some carby salty goodness with a beer on a hot day, Meryenda has got you covered. Typically, a pandesal (pan de sal) is a staple bread in the Philippine culture that soaks up liquid really well. I've seen old filipino geezers eating it with their coffee at local filipino coffee shops, so when I checked out this food truck, I was curious. I went to one of their collab events at Humble Sea and after crushing several dranks, I wobbled over to Meryenda and ordered up a Longanisa w/ chips. Longanisa is like their version of a sweet chorizo. While smothered with sweet mayo, then smackled with scallions and a thin carpaccio slice of tomato, it brought this cute sammich altogether. Though I ate all these sammiches, I saw that they also served dessert too! Looked like a piping hot green colored pandan coconut bread putting made of the same pandesal bread. It might put me out if I ate that! Observing the people around me, it looked like dessert was made for sharing between two or if you're a fat a s s like me, you'll indulge in all of it!Definitely going back and recommending this to others who like trendy new spots in the bay.

So glad to have been introduced to this food truck!! Delicious, amazing Filipino food with a twist, made by such kind and passionate owners. Arrived at their food truck during lunch hours with my dog. The truck is located in the middle of a commissary, but there is lots of neighborhood parking nearby and a sign to direct you to the truck! There is one small table with seating, so expect the meal to be more to-go style.Meryenda serves pandesalwiches: a larger-than-normal pandesal as the soft bun, and different options such as bistek, longanisa, and chicken adobo as the filling. We ordered:1. Bistek Burger Pan ($10): my favorite!! The patty was juicy calamansi citrus beef, and the caramelized onions were delicious!! This one comes with the Meryenda sauce, which is made in house and has a very strong garlic umami flavor. 2. Pork Longganisa Pan Combo with Calamansi juice and Kamote chips ($14): such a good deal for a side and a drink. The patty is made of a home-made longganisa, and the sandwich also came with a fried egg! 3. Chicken Adobo Pan ($10): Chicken adobo is one of my favorite foods ever, and I was not disappointed. The braised chicken was so juicy and tender, and went perfectly with the fried onions and calamansi citrus aioli. 4. Suman Bread Pudding ($5): refreshing bread pudding with coconut and pandan flavor! The leftover pan is used to make this; I love the crunch of the cubed pan paired with the soft, pleasant pudding5. Kamote chips: sweet potato chips with the perfect amount of salt! It is very clear that they make these fresh; they are so addicting. Each pandesalwich was so filling - I couldn't even finish the combo! And at $10 each, you get such high quality food - from the flavorful patties/meats, the housemade sauce, the freshness from tomato and scallions, and of course the soft pandesal. I had the privilege of meeting the chefs Anton and Richard. They have such a strong passion for cooking and sharing this unique twist on filipino food, and I hope that more people get to experience their delicious food! If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking out this food truck! I have never before found a food truck with such high quality, well-priced meals!

Food is pretty legit. Bistek burger is seasoned decently- can taste the acidity/lemon that makes it bistek! Service is friendly! He answered all my questions about the Dalandan soda. Soda enthusiasts should try. Ambiance was great as we beat the lunch rush! Happy they came to Pacifica today

A hidden gem for amazing, unique Filipino sandwiches for $10. Zero-wait made to order burgers that are worth the trip. Pork Longganisa - super juicy, aromatic and tender. Probably the best pork patty I've ever had. Unlike the bistek, the flavors here are classic and familiar. It's a solid sandwhich that I would universally recommend. Bistek Burger - I would consider this the specialty item of this food truck. The beef burger is incredibly juicy, and best enjoyed while it's piping hot. The special sauce is the star of the show, with a slight tartness for balance and incredible depth of flavor with a calamansi-forward accents. The burger is bold, assertive, and super unique. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new. At $10 a burger, the food is priced really aggressively. Whether it is to attract early customers, or make a competitive dent in the inflation-driven price hikes of other vendors, this small, local business is offering a great deal! I would take advantage while they are still low-key. It's only a matter of time before it really takes off.

Ordered lunch via DoorDash and was very pleased with my order. Really enjoyed the pork longganisa pan, which was very hearty and had the right mix of sweet and savory flavors. Our group also liked the chicken adobo pan and spamsilog pan. Sweet potato chips were crispy without any grease at all. Buko pandan bread pudding made for a great dessert. One pan is big enough to make for a very hearty lunch for one adult.

A new Filipino fusion food truck near me that is really tasty! While it's in Belmont, it's worth a drive to come try it out! We've had the Bistek and the adobo chicken, along with kamote chips. Both are really excellent. I had the chicken for the first time today and was struck by how juicy and flavorful that is. My partner says he likes the chicken a bit more, but both are really flavorful. What you're getting here is a mix of flavor that is super well balanced -- sour/salt/sweet/savory. When the description says the sauce on the bistek is an umami bomb, they are not kidding -- it's exactly that in a delicious way. The combination of ingredients, sauces and toppings have clearly been thoughtfully chosen to give you that balanced flavor experience. The portion sizes are excellent -- a bigger than a slider, but not a massive burger. One burger and a side of chips makes a perfect lunch. They have vegetarian options, too, though I haven't tried those. :-) I'm hoping they get to show up at some of the area food truck events, because I think this is the next hot thing, yall -- the pandesal burgers are just SO f'ing good and the flavor profile is unique and well, *craveable.* Goooo!
