Marvel Cake did it again! Three kids three memorable cakes. Details were flawless and all were delicious. Different guests in all different parties have one sane question, "Where did you get the cake?"Last cake was only 1 tier it was a last minute party planned, it wasn't as big as the other two previous parties. Marvel accommodated us.Thank you Marvel Cake!!

The 3 stars is for the birthday cake I recently ordered from Marvel. And while I'm giving it three stars, I want to highlight both the positives and the negatives.First, the cake was super cute and we were excited to try it especially after hearing so many great things about Marvel . Along with the cake, we also ordered a few pastries to sample. The plain , almond, and cheese & spinach croissant were delicious! However, we got the chocolate cupcake and it was dry even though the frosting was tasty. The real letdown was the cake itself. When we cut into it on the birthday, it was crumbly and didn't hold together well. It didn't taste bad, but the texture was off and not what we expected. The cream and filling were good and not too sweet, but several guests commented on the cake's texture. I'm not sure if this is typical for all their cakes, but it was a bit disappointing.

My girlfriends and I came to Marvel Cake around 2pm on a Saturday and thankfully there were no long lines. We were able to snag one of the popular matcha spiral croissant and quite a few other desserts to try out. This spot has a pretty good amount of seating and it's a really nice chic ambiance (feels like afternoon tea spot even though they don't sell tea sets/sandwiches). They also have water and restroom. Here's my ranking of the desserts we tried. 1. The Pistachio Tart - so yummy and it's my fav. The mix of pistachio layer and chocolate layer combined was delicious. Not too sweet.2. Royal hazelnut- probably the most sweetest of all the items we tried but still very good and the crisp layer on the bottom was very delightful! 3. Matcha croissant - yummy! Flaky and yummy matcha filling.4. Passionfruit and mango tart - quite a few of my friends favorite and def very good! Perfect for the fruit lovers 5. Lemon tart - nice lemon taste and not too tart6. Strawberry tart- super cute since it's heart shaped but not very memorable compared to the other desserts. I would skip this one.7. Rose tart - super cute but the only one my friends and I didn't like. The rose taste was too overpowering and it felt like digesting perfume or lotion. Not a fan but honestly all the other desserts were 10/10!! Would highly recommend trying out these spot!

Stopped by Marvel to purchase 1 round chocolate croissant and 3 savory croissants to enjoy at home.Looking forward to enjoying their pastries today and again in the near future.Thank you for having a location so close to us!!***Although savory pastries are flaky and tasty, filling is lacking in comparison to two years ago. Disappointing as I was really looking forward to enjoying the croissants with my tomato soup at lunch today.I'll have to make more lunch as half of the spinach and feta in addition to half of the Parmesan and leek won't be enough to get me through until dinner.Sigh..

I ordered 2 cakes for my sons' birthday party and they were a hit!! I submitted a request online for a custom cake and Maryam reached out to confirm details. We talked price, confirmed details for what the cake would look like, flavors, and pick up info. I paid a deposit after the phone call & picked up the cake the day before their party. The staff gave clear instructions for storage since it was the following morning. The design was exactly what we wanted & the flavors were amazing! Everyone at our party was gushing over their cakes and wanted seconds. Would recommend

Marvel Cake is still a favorite place of mine to take friends or family for some pastry and/or coffee or tea. This gem of a spot can really do no wrong. The space is comfortable to socialize in, every pastry they serve is delicious, coffee is great and the staff is so kind.Stopped by for a catch up with my cousin, one rainy morning and couldn't help but get a few items and some coffee. Cranberry White Chocolate Mint Spiral Croissant - filled with cranberry cream, this croissant had beautiful layers with generous amounts of white chocolate and cranberry. Iced with a peppermint glaze. Definitely a seasonal flavor, was a little put off by the mint but enjoyed the croissant and filling.Spinach Croissant - a great savory croissant, esp warmed up. Light flakey layers and not heavy. Filled with feta cheese and spinach.Serenity - a blueberry lavender tart filled with crumble. absolutely delicious and totally up my alley! the crumble was a nice contrast to the soft and tender blueberry exterior.Mango Passionfruit Tart - balanced sweet and tartness, a great choice if you prefer tropical flavors!Got a decaf latte and love that they use Sightglass coffee. My cousin got an Americano and said it was one of the best Americano's she's ever had!

Marvel Cake is located in an unassuming little plaza. It's a gem once you find it. Stepping inside is like walking right into an upscale French bakery. Each little cake and pastry is delightful and tasty. It's the perfect place to gab over good pastries and little cakes with a group of girlfriends in nice and pretty sit-down place. My friends and I ordered a coffee each and some pastries for round 1. Afterwards, we ordered some cakes and another round of coffee and continued chatting away.

Very modern and chic ambiance at Marvel Cake, which gave excellent afternoon tea vibes. There was a surprising amount of seats both inside and outside for the size of the cafe. The pastries and cakes on display were all gorgeous, though lacking a larger visible menu - folks waiting to order just ended up all crowding around the display counter trying to decide what to order, which didn't seem very efficient (some places provided a visual menu outside to help with this). Service was friendly but a bit slow as a result. They didn't have the spiral croissant that other reviews mentioned - I might need to come back earlier in the day to check that out sometime, but I got the l'opera, the pistachio tart and lemon tart. I also got a red velvet mocha as some reviewers recommended that.I enjoyed all the cakes, though I think the pistachio was my favorite. It had the perfect mix of textures and it was not too sweet. The l'opera was much sweeter, but not overly so, still enjoyable. The lemon tart was super tangy which I liked, but I would've preferred it without the cream top. The red velvet mocha was good as well, though they didn't ask if I wanted it hot or iced and just assumed iced (which surprised me, since usually drinks are hot by default unless you specify "iced"). The taste was good, and they mix the red velvet powder in well, but it had no real coffee taste and it was definitely pricey. All in all, it's a very cute and nice cafe to hang out at. Items are all pretty pricey, but the desserts all look beautiful and there were a ton of choices (even some savory ones). I would come back to try other pastry items and/or hangout for a bit for the ambiance.

I got the chocolate and matcha spiral croissants and then a peach galette. I've had their savory pastries before and they're great so I'm excited to try their sweet pastries. I arrived just as the bakery opened so the ordering process was very quick and easy. I also got an iced Americano that is not pictured but the coffee they use is from Sight Glass which I love. This shop is very aesthetically pleasing and I love to go back one day to sit and have a coffee and/or tea with a little cake.

Wanted to get some spiral croissants and learned that Fancy Flavors no longer makes them so ended up here.We got the pistachio, matcha, and chocolate spiral croissants and you can't go wrong with any. They aren't too sweet and each has their own distinct flavor so pick your favorite, or get all that are available like us. The spinach and feta croissant and leek and Parmesan were both good but they weren't the star of the show. Service is friendly and let us know that the pistachio was still available even though it wasn't on display. Inside is cute with a tea room aesthetic with it being clean and elegant. There are many tea options and cakes/pastries. There is plenty of parking in the plaza.Overall, this place hit the spot and we might have to try the other cake/pastry options.
