This is our go to for birthday cakes on Castro street and it has not disappointed us yet. The staff is always so nice and helpful, making it feel like a very friendly and nice bakery.The Passiano is amazing and so cute. It has a perfect balance of fruity and soft mousse to balance it out. The Harmony cake taste like a giant ferrero rocher. It's delightful and such a treat.

Please offer more gluten free and dairy free options!! This is only a review for their gluten free dairy free items that I tried. Their mango chia pudding is amazing. It doesn't taste too sweet and it hit the spot for a healthier dessert option.Their GF DF breads are amazing: I'm not sure the flavors I tried but they unfortunately only have 1 offered at a time: if I'm lucky they didn't run out by the time I get there. I think I had a banana bread and/or some kind of zucchini bread? I forget the actual flavor but I remember how amazing it was! The service is ok: could be better, not only a bit slow but (usually I don't see smiles and the people don't seem to love serving us), the ambiance is really nice.

Their hot chocolates are so rich and one of the best I have ever had ~ I have also tried a handful of their beautiful desserts and they are lightly flavored. Their desserts are not my cup of tea but they photograph nicely.

Paid by card. Maison Alyzee is located on the street and offers street parking. I went in on a Wednesday morning and 1 person was ahead of me in line, so I didn't have to wait long to be helped. Everything looked so good and it was hard to decide what to get. The employee was very nice and patient with me while I tried to decide what to get. Great customer service!I chose an almond croissant, Kougeloff, and Green tea, and was happy with my choices. It was comfortable to sit in the cute shop, but I would say it's better for small parties and not for large groups. I would recommend this place and would go back.

I came here for a Sunday brunch after going to the farmers market and it did not disappoint! I got two cakes, mojito and chocolate raspberry and they were both so good and not too sweet! I love how soft the cakes were and they didn't feel too heavy. Paired along the cakes I got a cappuccino and it made the perfect pairing. I also got the croque madam which was served on very soft bread, but it wasn't the most rememberable, I would skip this and only do pastries next time.

We had a wonderful experiencing eating delicious and unique pastrys after our dinner. Everything we selected was delicious and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Our desserts were served to us outside where we decided to sit, which was perfect. The inside and outside seating is plentiful. There were umbrellas for shade if needed, but we didn't need it with all of the trees nearby. Gastro Maestro approved!

This place has the most DECADENT hot chocolate I have ever had in a coffee and pastry establishment. And since it was my first time here, I obviously had to have both their regular hot chocolate and hazelnut hot chocolate!Each cup had a dollop of what tasted like hot fudge and Nutella right at the top so you instantly get that chocolate kick. I made the mistake of getting a wooden stick to mix the drink up assuming that I was helping that dollop blend with the hot liquid but I ended up with a drink that had the consistency of hot syrup. I was in desperate need for a cup of milk to spoon the hot chocolate into and get it to a consistency where it could be called hot chocolate again haha. Despite that, I'd still recommend the hot chocolate at this place! Just skip the stirring and keep the dollop as a bonus chocolate topping.I also got an assortment of macarons to enjoy my drink with but they tasted light in flavor and it was difficult to distinguish one from another. The interior of the place is cute and cozy. And the staff brings your ordered items to your table!

Came in on a rainy day after Christmas to grab coffee and dessert in Castro street. The place seems to be popular with a lot of folks sitting and working and / or grabbing a snack. My husband and I ordered cappuccino and pistachio dessert. The ambience is lively and service was quick. The pistachio desert wasn't that great and was expensive ($12) for a tart so will not recommend that. Overall vibes were good and location is perfect so will be back to grab an afternoon drink!

My friend and I came here around lunch time on a Sunday, and it wasn't too busy so we were able to easily grab some seats. We got a handful of pastries, breakfast food, and drinks.I absolutely loved my omelette! It was flavorful, and the side salad was very fresh. I thought the pastries, while undeniably beautiful, overall were okay.

Highly recommend the vanilla flan cake. Delicious.Excellent mocha ganache hot coffee. Lemon tart was also good and not too sweet, but I preferred the vanilla flan cake.
