Le Cake

This review is specifically about the Bûche De Noël (Yule Log) cake. I have found, over the years, that most such cakes are made with mousse, which is fine but not my preference for the holidays. This one is more traditional with chocolate flavored sponge case and very light cream between the rolled cake layers. In terms of presentation, the cake is top level, and quality and taste match the presentation beautifully. I look forward to trying other offerings in the near future.Right now Le Cake is just an online order operation with random pickup location (no storefront). I picked up the cake in a church parking lot in Saratoga. The lady who makes and delivers is very nice, and you can tell she is passionate about her creations. It will be no surprise to me when she opens a brick and mortar store very soon. In the meantime, I will certainly keep ordering online and picking up in the church parking lot.

i purchase this half Busch de Noel at Whole Foods. I was delighted that they had it in there counter and had the smaller size. It was lovely and delicious. Definitely pleased my friends when I brought it to their house for a celebratory pre-Christmas lunch.

Extraordinary pastry creations. A friend gave us an assortment of pastries from Le Cake recently. Each was unique and beautiful. We had to look at all of the detail for a few minutes before deciding where to start.The colors of each only gave a slight hint at the flavors each contained, and we found ourselves passing them around amongst ourselves to ensure no one missed out. The pastries looked and tasted like they came from Paris. Amazing!

Her custom design cake ordered for my daughter's birthday was the best! Literally all the parents asked where I ordered it. The details of the cake were amazing. If you need a special cake for your loved ones, I strongly recommend Le Cake! You just need to share the image of the characters or scenes, which you want to have, with the owner.

We brought the black sesame flan for my husband's birthday. We were looking for a unique cake and decided to order the black sesame flan. Although it initially seemed small, it was very filling and quite tall. Everyone in my family loved the cake which was quite surprising, not like your typical birthday cake. The crust and the actual flan itself go very well together, making it very delicious. And although it looks simple, the taste was anything but- being deep as well as not too sweet.

Elegant deliciousness!! I don't usually leave reviews, but I couldn't just keep my thoughts to myself this time.I've had the pleasure of trying Chef J's Kouign Amann, assorted Dacquoise and the Black Sesame Parisian Flan. At first glance, the Kouign Amann look like ordinary pastries. But when I took a bite, I was surprised to find how buttery and flaky they were, with the perfect amount of sweetness. My son and I couldn't stop eating them, and before we knew it, we had finished the entire bag of goodies. We also had to try the flan. I love the flavor of black sesame and eating flan, so I thought this had to be good. I was right! The flavor combination of the black sesame and custard was like nothing I had tried before. I thought the only thing that would be better was if the crust were made out of short bread. I was delighted to find out that Chef J would be able to do that for me next time! Lastly, the Dacquoise are beautiful creations with a wonderful experience awaiting you. I'd never eaten anything like this before! They look almost too lovely to eat. The assorted variety had so many different flavors, but my favorites were the lemon (loved the lemon creme anglaise) and the seasonal matcha flavors. They are so much tastier than macarons, from the fluffier shell to the more intense flavor profiles. I hope others are able to experience Le Cake's yummy desserts, too. I look forward to trying more sweets and cakes in the near future.

Placed an order to celebrate the NYU admission of my friends' kid living in the bay area. Because I am living in AZ, I had to ask for delivery. They kindly accepted when heard about my situation. My friends must be fascinated when they received my present. The best looking hand made cake ever! Hope I will be able to taste it soon. Strongly recommend Le Cake.
