El mejor lugar para comprar Tostilocos. The raspados are great! My favorite is the mangoneadas and also the Tejuino which is a cold drink made from maza!! Just delicious the service is great. The vibe is so nice here.

Antojitos or "little cravings" are the Mexican street food snacks that are enjoyed between lunch and dinner. Las Delicias Paleteria offers the most comprehensive menu that I've seen in the Bay Area and paired with their offerings of ice cream and desserts make this a one stop winner. The key to the popularity of these street food items are both their price and their freshness. Most items are below $6 and are all made to order when you choose from their menu. Fresh fruit, spices like chamoy and chili powder, and sweet additions like agua fresca, ice cream, and more like coconut, jicama, and tamarind round out the novelty of flavors, especially to those with a more Western palate. I stopped by for the most popular item, the Mangoneada (cut mango, with mango ice cream, topped with chamoy, tamarind straw, and a touch of chili powder) and was not disappointed. I've had this at many paleterias in the Bay Area including United, Monarcha and Snacks. The version here was filled with more fresh cut mango than any version I've had before. They literally filled it to the brim and then added the scoop of mango ice cream. There are so many menu choices that I'll need to come back and sample a bigger variety. While there are pictures, it's hard to tell what actually is depicted in the menu. Case in point was our order:Mangoneada - $6. Described above. A little pricier than other places that I've seen at $5, but made up for the quality.Salchipulpos - $5. The picture looked like french fries topped with nacho cheese. Turned out to be delicious double fried french fries topped with sliced hot dogs and your choice of ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. Yup, the yellow wasn't cheese but was mustard. They serve nachos with cheese so I asked for cheese instead, but they didn't seem to want to offer it or understand my request though I offered to pay the extra cost. Was this good? It was, but what I wanted was cheese for an even more decadent snack! Salchipapas usually means fried potatoes, but this word (pulpos means octopus I think) refers to the hot dogs that are cut into octopus shape! A few other tips: locos (which is added to many items) usually means with chili powder, peanuts, and cooked pig skin (not my cup of tea, I like it fried). Elotes means corn and there are some promising stuff like Elotes (cups of corn, cream, and cheese) and Tosti Elotes (bag of corn chips and corn). Other unique items include Raspado (shaved ice) which you can top with fruit, chamoy, and ice cream and Tejuino (sweet fermented corn drink). Service is friendly and it can get busy and you may have to wait as they make things one by one. They also had fruit popsicles (paletas) but they didn't look quite as delicious as the ones in Redwood City. Overall, great stop, great snacks and desserts and friendly service. Yes, it's East PA, but it's nice to have a stop on the mid Peninsula as most places are in Redwood City and above or San Jose/East Bay.Las Delicias also accepts credit cards, including American Express.

The Fresas con crema (strawberries & cream) is sooooo good here. They give you a good amount of strawberries with each order. This place is a gem! I wish they had salchipulpos still (fries and little sausages). Oh yes! The elote (corn) is also realllly good and flavorful!

I like this place! The iced cream is good, they customized my Tostilocos using Hot Cheetos instead everything tastes great and makes me feel like I'm in San Diego again. They definitely get knocked one star as they could be friendlier, I expect a place like this to feel very homey. They're not bad, just not overtly welcoming or friendly.

My friend and I biked from Fremont to Menlo Park. Wanting some ice cream as a treat, we found Las Delicias, which is already on my radar since it is near my work. They were nice enough to humor our ignorant questions about what each ice cream was (my Spanish is only so-so), give us samples, and let us keep our bikes inside. We settled on "medium" cones, about twice the amount that I get for a "single" near my house in Fremont, and cheaper. The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and tasty. My friend got coconut, and I got coconut + this other sweet fruit flavor, SO GOOD. Picture shows it after I "tasted" it.The place is clean, with a bathroom for customers, counter full of Mexican candy, picture-perfect fresh fruit, and comfortable seats/tables. I will return for some fruit snacks or tostilocos, both of which looked fantastic as we watched them prepare it.And, forgive us, owners, this was new to us. My friend and I couldn't figure out what they were making--something with eggs? Then milk? OH--they make their ice cream from scratch on the premises!!!

Its a place to come have some Mexican snacks and/or desserts. The staff is very nice and are generous in the portions. They have icecream, paletas, and all kinds of drinks. Imported Mecican sodas too. My tosti elote was good. My kids tostiloco was also good with lits of chamoy and chile. Its in a divey shopping center but there is plenty of parking. Its a place I can get my tostiloco fix until Im back in Mexico.

Came here for a late craving with my family. We got two waffles with ice cream and a bag of chicharrones for my son. Lady told us to order at the register as I'm telling her what I don't want on my waffle she rudely says "you can tell me when the waffle is ready " so I'm like ok.... We pay, and she gives us the bag of chicharrones. We open them for my son and we try them and they're stale AF. We tried looking for the expiration date and there was nothing on the bag. Is that even legal ? I tell the lady if I can get a different bag bc they're old and she says "no they were all in the same box so they must all taste the same " she says I can get something worth $2. So we end up getting a scoop of ice cream for my son. While we are eating our waffles these two ladies (didn't catch their name but one had a piecing below her lip ) taste the chicharrones and talk bad about us WHILE WE ARE SITTING RIGHT THERE. talk about bad customer service. And they eat the chicharrones as trying to prove they're not bad. Please. Worst Nieveria I've been to. .

So unfortunately i'm gonna have to write a bad one. i've been coming here for a minute now and had a bad experience. The guy that was working there today was very nice but needs to stay off his phone while customers come in through the door. it's poor customer service on his end. Another thing was that they need to do something about covering up the juices from the raspados. I ordered a raspado from this place today and unfortunately found multiple fruit flies in my drink. I was on my lunch and was looking forward to drinking it when i noticed small black specks in the ice, halfway through my drink i took them out with my spoon and found more than one bug in my drink. It's sad to say i will not be coming here anymore for the lack of sanitary conditions, maybe they should work harder on cleaning their jugs.
