La Esquina

At La Esquina you will find a good meal for an exceptionally pleasing price. If you have traveled in Mexico and eaten at street cafés you will see that the food is very authentic. The fried tacos are served in double corn tortilla and are large and amply filled with your choice of meat. They only cost $4.50.The enchiladas a similar. The sauce is delicious, but mild so you might want to request more spice.... The location is directly across from the DMV in Los Gatos. Parking is on the street or in the DMV lot.. a nice treat after a stressful visit. La Esquina is very clean and has patio dining.

Overhyped tacos Everyone raves about this place but I was not impressed. The flavors were decent but nothing outstanding. The service was also a bit rude. Probably wont return

Best burrito in South Bay - no one comes close. This will become a monthly spot to hit when I travel to the Bay.

I was so disgusted when I discovered a sponge cleaning particle in my margarita. The waitress apologized but that was enough to keep me away from this place. How can any restaurant let this happen. Come on, do better.

Awesome and friendly staff and variety in the menu. We tried the birria tacos which were so well marinated and tender - just wish it came with the yummy sauce to dip but I guess our cholesterol appreciated the cleaner version. Cheese enchilada was surprisingly and delightfully garlicky. The carne asada burrito had a great toasted tortilla.

This place is conveniently across from the DMV, but is not that memorable. FOOD: Food is mediocre. My husband and I both got vegetarian burritos in spinach tortillas with guacamole and sour cream. The sour cream and guacamole were hard to detect, though. SUGGESTIONS: -more veggies in the burrito (there were pretty much none)-more salsa options (while the green salsa was good, the red one was a bit too sweet) SERVICE: service is prompt and friendly!

We thought we'd try again and grab a quick burrito and tacos on our walk home. The grilled chicken in then was fairly gray and tasteless. Even the shredded chicken wasn't tasty. All of the ingredients just seem like the bare minimum of what it takes to make these staple dishes. And the chips are dry and taste burned. We still wish this was a go to we could frequent, now we're feeling like it's just not worth another try. The last few times our orders were wrong and no one has ever tried to correct anything.

Absolutely the best fish and shrimp taco I've ever had. The hibiscus drink is also really yummy. You won't be disappointed I highly recommend it.

I couldn't tell what type of meat was in my taco. I got a chicken and a carnitas and it was impossible to tell. The service was ok. The place was quite and clean. The food came out quickly. The salsa and chips were the best part of the meal.

I went to La esquina taqueria to get something for lunch and I ordered a super quesadilla carnitas, I asked for to go my quesadilla looks very disgusting one side of tortilla burned, this was the nearest taqueria for me to get my lunch but will never go back.
