Located at the Stanford Mall. There are plenty to choose from. I tried the mango mousse this time and it was not too sweet. Items are a little pricey, but it is probably the location. Will definitely return to try other items.

My family and I were walking around Stanford Shopping Center one weekend morning when my mom wanted a snack. My family loves pastries and we saw a line for La Baguette, so we went inside to see for ourselves. The inside of the store is too compact for seating, but you will see a good amount of tables, chairs, and umbrellas just outside the store in the middle of the large walking space. La Baguette had two large displays, one with cakes and cake slices, another with the baked goods and a few sandwiches. We paid at the counter and asked for our croissants to be heated, so we were given a number and instructed to wait outside for our order to be called. We bought two croissants, one plain and one filled with ham and cheese. Both were ginormous and thus perfect to split among four people. The staff conveniently split them in half without us asking. They were sooooo crispy and flaky that they're impossible to eat without getting crumbs all over. The texture inside was really soft, not the generally dense texture my average croissants are from all the butter. We had a good amount of ham and cheese in ours, and you get a thin layer of cheese crust on top of the croissant itself. Overall, La Baguette is a great pit stop for our morning in the area. I thought about getting the sandwiches, but they looked heavy on the bread and light on the filling. I will probably stick to their croissants!

Sandwich Loaf bought just yesterday. Shock to find the big long cavity in the center that stands almost from end to end. Ruin my lunch sandwich plan. I understand baking goods vary a bit sometimes. However, a deformed sandwich loaf should not be sold to customers. Period.Wonder how could they not noticed the issue when slicing the loaf on customer request? La Baguette charges a premium on their backing goods and better step up their quality to match.

This is my favorite french bakery in the area! So far, I've tried the mango and chocolate cakes--both a solid 10/10! They're perfectly balanced in sweetness, and the staff is always welcoming. Conveniently located in the heart of Stanford Shopping Center, it's the ideal spot to pick up a pastry or a slice of cake while enjoying a shopping spree!

I was walking around the Stanford Shopping Center and since I love bakeries, was instantly attracted to this place by their large displays of desserts, cakes, and breads. Since it was a Sunday, the whole shopping center was crowded, so naturally there was a line I had to wait in. The store itself is really small, but outside there are plenty of places to sit down and enjoy the food. I bought bread pudding (one of my favorite desserts), and a vegetarian quiche, which they warmed up for a few minutes before calling my order number outside when it was ready. The quiche was alright, I've had better but this one wasn't bad, and it was also pre-sliced which was nice. The bread pudding was kind of disappointing, too dry and crumbly, so I'll know not to order it next time. Since I saw there are many more desserts to try, I'll probably come by again and just try something else.

You know how they say "looks can be deceiving"? Well it totally applies to this bakery. There was a small line, the baked goods looked amazing and it's in a prime location at the Stanford Shopping center. So of course I think it's going to be delicious. I only can speak for what I ordered of course. I got an almond croissant. My favorite type of dessert croissant. Tasted like it's a day old, not flaky, bland, I actually threw half of it away because no one wanted it. Disappointed.

Seems like a nice place for dessert and coffee. The cappuccino was made well with good foam, and the carrot cake was fine. Espresso was more bitter than nutty which is what I prefer. Service was good. And ambiance was simple and clean with outdoor seating.

This is a tiny little shop that's just big enough for a small handful of customers. Service could have been better, with long lines it seems there isn't a need to work at a quicker pace but maybe that is part of the experience. 5 stars for the jalapeño bread! It looks like a giant bagel but sort of stretch out so you get more surface area for toppings. I got this warmed up and it was served in a little pizza box sliced into strips instead of triangles. This was AMAZING when warm. Not a bad price for around $8 it was like a meal. Cheese was good ans jalapeños were big. Loved it!!! Would definitely buy again. If you like jalapeño cheese bagels this is definitely going to be a new favorite.

Stopped here for drinks and snacks on a hot day. The coffee was average, and while the Italian soda was nice and refreshing, it was overpriced for what was essentially Kirkland Italian sparkling water--not surprising for this area.I also picked up a baguette to go, but when I cut into it at home, it was raw in the middle. Quite a disappointment for a place named after that bread.

What a treat after a pleasant walk in the Stanford shopping mall. There are plenty of seats and some tables just outside of the shop. Of course plenty of people as well. Luckily the line is moving fast. We ordered a chocolate supreme which has an enriched flavor of dark chocolate as well as some fruit touch up. I did enjoy the cake, this is a great treat for a weekend afternoon.
