I was excited to see the Food Truck selling"Bibimbap" at Cupertino Night Market last weekend so decided to try.Ordered Beef Bibimbap - food came out immediately after I placed the order. Hardly any beef on it and mostly rice, bed of lettuce and small amount of bean sprouts for $19!!For $19+tax, I was expecting better quality than what I got. I won't be returning.

Shame on me for going to the food truck at a local event with no line...that should have been a red flag, right?I really hate to give bad reviews to any place - only 2% are 1-star ratings, and just 5% are 2-star. Maybe I'm guilty of grade inflation, but I attribute the overall positive skew of my reviews to the fact that I usually consult Yelp before patronizing any place, and hence end up at well-regarded businesses and come away with above-average experiences.Anyways, with that background, let's get to my review of Just Mix & Eat. This was one of several options on one recent evening, but I wanted something of the Asian variety. I'm always keen on bibimbap, which is Just Mix & Eat's shtick. The posted prices, as expected, were higher than what you'd pay at a Korean restaurant but that's the case with all of these food trucks.I ordered the tofu bibimbap with egg. I hadn't even paid and the food was already being presented, as if it were just lying around waiting to be served. As I was eating my food nearby, some friends waited several minutes for their meals. This confirmed to me that while others had their meals made to order, mine had been sitting out for an indeterminate amount of time.So what came in the box? Well, first of all it was only half-filled, and when I saw what my friends received it's pretty clear that I was shorted. Second, whatever it was, it was decidedly NOT bibimbap. There was a measly 1/2 cup of rice (c'mon folks, rice is cheap), exactly two broccoli florets, and iceberg lettuce. Real bibimbap should have spinach and bean sprouts at a minimum, and often shredded carrots and cucumber. There were three cubes of cold fried tofu. The fried egg was cooked hard, not runny the way it's supposed to be. And the hot sauce tasted more like sriracha rather than gochujang. To add insult to injury, there was no kimchi. So, this was utterly disappointing. I'll be careful to follow the crowds next time.

*Food truck review*Tried their food truck at one of the Earthquake's game and yumm! Get the #3 Spicy Pork Bibimbap! Tons of flavor. Overall portion was a bit on the smaller side for the price, but enough for one person (think lunch size). Rice to veggies to meat ratios were about even though, so that's a plus.9/10 for the above dish mentioned.

I got a veggie bibimbap... barely any veggies that you would expect in a bibimbap. Overpriced, mostly a salad mix with a lot of rice. I see the tofu version... wouldn't it be just the same, just without the tofu?!? Such a waste of money. I dug through salad mix and rice, all I found was the seasoned been sprouts... what kind of a scam are you guys trying to pull here?!?

Overpriced for one and not that enough meat number two, and thirdly lacking that great Korean fusion flavor. This is like having frat boys whip up Korean bibimbap and then charging people and arm and a leg for it.For the prices you're charging you may want to considering something better tasting and bigger than kid sized portions.

A bit too pricey in my opinion, even for a food truck. I paid $14 or so for the beef bibimbap. For the amount of food it came with, I would have only expected to pay maybe $7-8. I had no choice though because I was at a conference and it was either this or 2 other food trucks. The taste was decent. I've definitely had better bibimbap, fresher ingredients, and bigger portion. Usually when I eat bibimbap, I'm stuffed. This time I finished it and wasn't satisfied. Also the meat portions were terrible, hardly any. Very unsatisfying. The experience was fine. I was first in line so didn't really have to wait too long for my food. Overall, I wouldn't come back if I had a choice. If you're craving bibimbap or another Korean dish, I'd recommend elsewhere. It's definitely not worth the price tag.

A nice meaty dish! What I really want from food truck cuisine is a meal that fills you up and this certainly does. I honestly would've preferred an equal portion of veggies to rice as the dish was 1/4 protein, 1/4 veggies, and 2/4 rice. But it certainly doesn't leave you feeling hungry. The fried egg was extra but boosted protein serving and helped mellow out the bulgolgi marinade. Also the server was very friendly and answered all questions I had before I ordered.

The food was nothing like the picture. It tasted fine enough but to pay 18$ for a beef bowl only to realize it has less meat in it than a fried rice bowl is extremely disappointing. The meal was about 70% rice, 20% lettuce, 5% sauce and 5% beef. Perhaps this was just because I ate at their food truck. Maybe the actual restaurant isn't in the practice of rationing.I regret spending my money at the food truck and would not recommend it to anyone else. The food they served is worth more like 9$ at best.

Disappointed. Their chicken "bibimbap" came with iceberg lettuce (?!) and few bean sprouts served over mushy rice. $17, plus $1 for an egg, plus taxes made this pitiful lunch $20. Take your food truck money elsewhere.

I tried this food truck for the first time at the USNWT game at PayPal Park. I got the chicken bibimbap, and honestly, I was disappointed. I was expecting REAL bibimbap vegetables...instead, the only vegetable present was iceberg lettuce. The rice was super sticky and mushy in a bad way. The chicken was minced up into tiny pieces and didn't have any flavoring. There was way too much rice to chicken. And finally...there was nothing Korean about it. It was simply minced up chicken over a huge bed of rice with iceberg lettuce on the side. Overall, it was edible and staunched the hunger, but I'm disappointed that I spent $17 on it.
