Jimmy V's Sports Cafe

Went here on a Friday when I didn't have to go into the office and got a delicious omelet. I loved the ability to sub in egg whites as I am allergic to egg yolks. The service was fast and the restaurant is clean but no frills and no fuss. I will definitely be back!

I used to go hear for a few years but decided to stop. The problem is I don't know how many times I've payed for them to put extra cheese or other stuff and they often don't even though I payed for the extra item. Today 12/5/2023 I asked for extra cheese in my burrito. I watched the cashier tell the cook extra cheese that I payed for and when I got my burrito it had no cheese in it. I didn't realize it till I got to my job. I called to talk to the Manager and he blew up on me and tried to turn me into the bad guy. I the Manager if he can just tell the cook to pay attention next time and the manager said I can eat somewhere else. After the amount I of business I did with Jimmy V's the Manager showed Me he don't care about his customers. I tons the Manager to keep the extra money I payed. I won't be going back to this place based on the Manager treating Me like garbage.

Sports Cafe is a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch on Stanford campus. The food is always great, the prices can't be beat in Palo Alto, and the staff really make you feel welcome. They have an extensive menu ranging from smoothies to Mexican food to sandwiches to wraps and everything in between, so you are guaranteed to find something that you like.I was at Stanford for about 2 months this summer, and I would go to Sports Cafe at least once or twice a week for lunch. I haven't tried anything that I didn't like but I've tried a LOT that I love. Some of my favorites are the burritos (a 14" burrito lasted me two meals because it was HUGE), grilled sandwiches (the grilled honey maple ham was my go to), pasta (simple but yummy), and sweet potato fries. Their sweet potato fries are fantastic and better than the ones I've had at some nice restaurants! I also love that they don't skimp on portion sizes; in fact, I can still recall when I ordered pasta and they gave me enough to feed me for THREE meals.If you are ever on Stanford campus and in the area, I highly recommend stopping here for a quick and casual meal! There is nice outdoor seating nearby as well as a good amount of tables and chairs in the cafe itself.

delicious food for an amazing price! also a super friendly staff and you can tell they actually care about the customer experience. lots of Stanford athletes eating here, as well as staff. despite the long line, the wait goes by quite fast! inside they have a salad bar and fridges full of a wide selection of drinks. also not pictured i got a mango smoothie! also delicious (but not as thick as i'm used to) but a great price!

Frequented this place during business school. Really delicious food (they serve breakfast all day!) at affordable prices + an awesome team (Kevin, Eileen, and Alexis are great!). Would highly recommend Jimmy V's!

This place is unmatched, I worked on campus 1995-2010 and frequently ate here. I met and conversed with people like Bill Walsh, Jim Harbaugh and many others who have passed thru Jimmy V's and all have loved this place and there great team over the many many years. Food is always delicious and prices are extremely inexpensive fior Stanford standards.

Love this place, especially the Taco Bar!The Taco Bar has other offerings such as nachos, street tacos, burritos with delicious steak, chicken, carnitas, rice and beans.My go-to is the combo steak and chicken nachos - not goopy or soggy as they only use shredded cheddar which melts naturally under the hot protein.For less than $9 - this meal is filling and a great bargain!the only think I wish for is an online menu ;(

Jimmy V's has probably the most hands on Sports Management team for a Sports Cafe.The way they go out of their way to help youwith your meal is like they are everyday runninga championship for daily excellence.For this reason, and the powerful athletesthat frequent this establishment, from around the cornerJimmy V's may very easily be the bestdining experience on campus.Well Done ! JIMMY V'S!!! One of my FAVORITE cafes to visit on Stanford Campus - they serve the most delicious breakfasts, lunch foods, and smoothies / shakes / drinks. Many of their foods that I have enjoyed include: Athlete Omelet, Norcal Scramble, Huevos Rancheros, Stanford Panini, Chicken Chestnut Salad Melt, and Olympian and Cardinal smoothies! Everything is so on point. All their omelets, paninis, sandwiches, smoothies, everything. I also always come back to the Olympian smoothie, which features apple juice, strawberry, banana, raspberry, peach, and low-fat yogurt.The people at Jimmy V's are literally some of the friendliest and warmest I've ever met - I always see them smiling and making conversation and connections with everyone. The inside of the Sports Cafe is lively with a strong community feel and Stanford school spirit, and it is also busy with students, professors, athletes - you name it! The red walls feature quotes like "Passion is Your Greatest Asset", "You Are Never Wrong To Do The Right Thing", and "Teams That Eat Together Play Together Win Together". Jimmy V's also has multiple HD TVs all around the cafe with different sports channels on. In addition, Jimmy V's has a huge outdoors seating area as well, with both sun umbrellas and natural shade from the large green trees.Jimmy V's is one of the best cafe's ever!!! I have loved everything I've ordered from them so far, and I can't wait to try more. Jimmy V's is also the perfect place for any kind of gathering - with friends, with professors, with sports teammates, or on your own! I am not surprised that it is one of the most well-loved, frequented, and beautiful cafés on campus. I would definitely recommend enjoying food from Jimmy V's!!!

Large sized dishes, great service & great prices. The athlete egg white omelette is amazing.
