Izumi Revolving Sushi is located inside Serramonte Mall, near the food court, making it super convenient to pop in for a quick bite. We visited around noon, and although it was packed, we were pleasantly surprised to get a seat for two right away. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with a good variety coming around on the sushi belt. However, the prices were on the higher side compared to other revolving sushi spots, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.That said, the quality definitely makes it worth a visit if you're in the area and craving sushi. I'll be back for sure!

I haven't been to Serramonte in decades. I grew up in Daly City and moved to the south and east bay areas back in 1993. How much it's changed! We had a co-worker in town staying on the peninsula, and he wanted sushi. I knew of a couple places, but wanted to try a different place. Izumi came up on Yelp so we decided to try it.First impression - WOW that's a long sushi train! And the restaurant was almost packed. Lots of people waiting for seats, but it looked like larger parties. We only had 3. We checked in on the tablet and surprisingly, got called up 2-3 minutes later. Great start. We were led back to the very back on the left side and had the last 3 seats. Literally right at the wall separating the food area from the dishwasher. Not the cleanest spot in the restaurant. There was also a small puddle of water in that corner from the kitchen. They need to address this as it's standing water for who knows how long. I shifted myself away from that puddle and tried to put it out of my mind. Now let's focus on the food. It was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but good. Because you can pick sushi right off the conveyer belt, it was easy to get the ones I wanted. Too many to write up of course but needless to say, I left with a full belly. There's also a digital screen to order the sushi off the menu. When it's prepared, it'll get placed on a speed tray and zip down to your seat. Kinda neat. I would come back but decline that last seat in the left corner. It took a lot for me to keep it out of my mind and try to enjoy my friends' company instead.

3.5 stars really, but we had a good experience. Honestly, Izumi is way better than Kura sushi! The fish tastes fresher, and the cuts are quite generous. The service is also good, the servers were constantly clearing empty plates and trash, and refilling our drinks. They also checked in on us very often when I appreciated a lot. Some of the rolls we tried were straight misses though, the rice was hard and the crab mixture tasted very off. I would say stick the the nigiri

I came in for a quick bite. It was around 1pm and the restaurant was not busy. The service was quick and efficient. A bit disappointed with the selection going around the counter. The ambiance has a feeling that you are in Japan having your meal. I had 4 different plates for $23 plus my tip.

3.5 stars. We tried lunch here. The conveyor belt consisted of mostly rolls. There are special orders you can select on the pad and it's delivered to you by a small bullet train above your counter. If the dishes tried for a total of 9, I liked the special order salmon skin temaki the best. Dishes are color coded for pricing. The hamachi nigiri special was OK. Fish slices are fairly generous compared to the revolving sushi place in Stonestown. Tea is complimentary. Lunch came to $43.

While this isn't your $$$$ sushi omakase it's a fun place to get your sushi fill. This is a revolving sushi place with tons of unique rolls, special and large nigiri, and a variety of hot foods. All items can be ordered on a tablet and delivered on a belt directly to you. Keep in mind each plate color is a different price and you may need to use the tablet to help you decipher how much each color plate cost. Service is fast and helpful in filling your water/tea cups. Overall, the sushi quality is decent, rice is okay and fish quality is average. I'll continue to come here as it's convenient, enjoyable, and satisfying!

Why did no one tell me to come try this place sooner? I'm a way bigger fan of Izumi than Kira now! Portions are bigger, fish is fresher, price is.. ok. I'm a really big salmon and walu lover so I'm always on the hunt for both. Yes it's a bit pricier but look, I'm already paying for it, so I might as well go somewhere that makes me happier. Kura's portions are getting smaller and smaller, so Izumi it is! I came with one other person and our total came to $70 out the door. Price is by plate color/how premium the dish is. You choose what you want!

This sushi spot with a revolving conveyor belt offers a fun and unique dining experience. You can grab plates as they pass by, each priced differently depending on the item. If you're craving something specific, you can order it, and a train will deliver it right to your table, which adds a playful touch. The otoro and salmon were my favorite cuts--both incredibly fresh and flavorful. While it can get pricey, it's worth it if you're looking to splurge on high-quality sushi in a relaxed, interactive setting. Definitely a great option for sushi lovers wanting a mix of convenience and novelty

Visited multiple times, either with friends or solo for lunch and dinner. Can take plates from the conveyor belt or order from the pad. There's more food options on the pad so would recommend looking. Quality of food is good and fish cuts are big but have found bones before so just be careful. Some days the fish is fresher, other days not so I would look at them while they pass by on the conveyor belt. Favorites: salmon, walu, herring, lion king, plum flower, and spicy tuna app.

Stopped in for an early Saturday dinner and didn't have to wait too long for a table. The amaebi and achi were fairly delicious. I thought the spicy tuna roll was too loaded with sesame seeds and rice (ratios not that great). Ordered the ramen too which came with seaweed chashu, and a pretty msg tasting pork broth. Servers are fairly attentive, taking away tray tops and refilling green tea. There's plenty of seating here. I would definitely ordering through the tablet because the fish seems more fresh. I had salmon sashimi from the conveyor belt and it was sort of warm. Overall, you could probably do worse at these types of restaurants. I'm sure it is great for the kids though.
