House of Bagels

Fast service, very nice staff as well. Not busy at all for a Sunday morning around 9:00am.Bagel sandwiches are well portioned and taste good. Nothing over the top good but good none the less.Smoothies are really good, very refreshing.Real star of the show is the Vietnamese coffee!

It is very All Right! I wouldn't throw a Javelin through anyone's head to get served first, but I would probably be back. Especially since it's basically a Stone's Throw away from my pad.Anyway, got the Sausage Bagel on some Pesto Bread Saucer. If I was smarter, I would have looked up and saw that there were many other options behind the counter, and I definitely would have gotten the Jalapeño Baygul. Meine Freundin order the Bacon option, but received the Sausage one, so be on your toes when you order, just in case they totally and completely F*** UP YOUR ORDER!!!Anyway, place is chill and it's right next to a Coffee Shoppe, which is where you will naturally go right after.Yeah hell yeah, baby!

Staff is friendly, very welcoming! Service is quick, was in and out of there in 5 minutes! Plenty of parking available!

Came here after a workout and the service / bagel with cream cheese was great! I have found my new favorite morning bagel spot

Female owned. They are so sweet. Trying to make a living. 7am. Close at 2pm. These hours good for working mommys so they can take care of kids. Jalapeno bagel with cream cheese, avocado, cucumbers, tomato, red onion. Delicious. 1/2 the price of Boichek. Toasted bagel. Steak Banh Mi: very filling. Could only finish 1/2. Very heavy, large amount of veggies and beef. Daikon carrot not overly sweet or sour. Very well balanced. Makes for a hefty sandwich. One of the more popular items. The sandwich is mostly meat and freshly made pickle, cucumber, onion. The companies with stock market shares like Panera use tricks to reduce the cost of sandwiches like adding cheap cheese, lettuce, hummus, canned peppers or pickles for filler and reducing product cost. They do the opposite here. Healthier. Has the home made taste of being filling without all the cost saving tricks the chains use. Very refreshing. Real food for a change. Blueberry muffin: not a repackaged Costco muffin you see in donut shops! Very fluffy and moist. Was reheated up. Better food quality than the standard donut shop and breakfast burrito shop. More veggies as filler in the steak bahn mi vs rice and beans in a burrito. Multiple locations across bay; all seem to be individually owned. The bagels are consistent but each location has a small variation from the general menu.

This location is one of the best HOB I've visited. They are always so helpful and their service is quick! I know exactly what I want until it's time to order. They are so patient and are great with recommendations! I love love love their veggie option on croissant bread. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

I loved the house of bagels in mountain view but was disappointed when I came here. We got essentially the same things as the other location - BLT on cheddar cheese and tuna salad on a chocolate chip (cinnamon sugar last time). The bagel wasn't thick - it was flat like it didn't rise well for both bagels. There was also too much mayo in the tuna salad. My main issue was really in the bagel. If I were to go to a house of bagel again, I would drive further to mountain view.

The aunties here are so nice!They asked if I had any questions and they let me know their bagel specials! I got their tuna bagelwhich which I would give 3.5 out of 5 stars because it didn't really taste like tuna? I think they use Greek yogurt or something with it. I didn't really like it but it wasn't too bad. Will def come back and try their breakfast bagels and for the nice aunties haha

15/10 This is the best House of Bagel I've ever been to!They still use REAL egg and the bacon is super crispy Friendly, sweet staff and cleanFirst time to this one in so long (atleast a couple years)I'll 100% be back !!

My husband and I recently visited this bagel shop and were completely disappointed. We ordered two bagels and two coffees, and to our shock, were charged $45. We both requested jalapeno bagels, but there wasn't a single jalapeno in sight. The bagels were hard, making them tough to bite into, definitely not what we expected.My husband ordered the Mediterranean bagel with egg, and I got the veggie with egg. Unfortunately, both tasted awful. To make matters worse, I ordered a decaf iced vanilla coffee because I'm pregnant, but they made it caffeinated.This was our first and last visit. I've never had a bad experience at a bagel shop before--it's pretty hard to mess up a bagel, but somehow, they managed. Not only was the quality lacking, but the prices were outrageous for such basic food. We'll never be coming back.
