It's like a craft cocktail-bar, pizzeria, pub, Indian influenced LATE NIGHT bar!It's practically one of the three bars open late night around here and also has late night food. I found myself here for 2 nights straight to end the night. I sat at the bar for awesome service by the lady and gentleman bartender. A popular area for everyone. Singles, friends, families, workers and hungry-thirsty patrons. Almost everyone walked out with pizza boxes.Extra star because I am a music video fiend and at the bar, the gentleman bartender changed the tv to Spanish music videos. I stayed for another craft beer watching!

If you're looking for strong drinks without breaking the bank, Hidden Tap & Barrel might be your spot. The drinks here pack a punch--$14 for something that'll hit you pretty hard, which is honestly what I was looking for. They definitely don't skimp on the booze, and for that price, it's a solid deal.That being said, the service could use a little improvement. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about either. The bartenders were friendly enough, but seemed a little distracted. Nothing terrible, but I've definitely had better service elsewhere.The vibe inside was pretty dead on a weekday night--definitely not a place you go if you're looking for a lively atmosphere. It felt a little too quiet, and the place didn't really have that "buzz" you sometimes get at bars. That said, if you just want a strong drink and don't mind a laid-back, chill environment, you might actually like the calm.Overall, I'd recommend Hidden Tap & Barrel if you're on the hunt for affordable, strong drinks and aren't too concerned about the vibe or service. It's definitely not a party place, but a good choice if you want something that'll get you there fast.

I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but after spending the entire day outside of the emergency room waiting for my dad, I finally had a chance to step away for food. I took an Uber to this restaurant, only to be told they were closed--despite their online listing showing they were open for another 43 minutes. This information needs to be updated, as I ended up wasting both my time and money.

Great place to grab a beer or watch a game! The kitchen is Curry Pizza House. Ordered the jalapeño poppers and was disappointed by the quantity provided in our first order as photographed. When we ordered another batch there were a few more. They were fantastic in taste and would recommend the jalapeño ranch. Come early on game day for a table as there is limited seating but sitting at the bar is also a great choice.

Came here for drinks and to play a board game. Basketball game was on and our favorite team was playing, which was nice. They have numerous large TVs to watch the game. Tables were large and perfect for board game playing. Drink menu here was different from the drink menu in Redwood City and they didn't have the one drink I wanted at this location. But tried the Palo Alto old fashioned and mango margarita at this location and liked both. I will say that we have had a fair share of playing board games at local spots but the way they gave no care in the world to give us our drinks over our board game so it dripped on the game was slightly annoying (most servers we have had at other locations have been considerate enough to go around our game so our drinks don't drip on the game). So we wiped it away and next time they brought drinks we tried to grab them from their hand before they let them drip on the game. I forgot my sunglasses there. Tried to call that night and the next day but no one ever picked up. My partner went in person the next day to try to find the glasses but by then they were no where to be found. That was on me for forgetting them but it was a bummer I was never able to reach anyone by phone (I live in downtown SF, quite far away, and if it weren't for my partner going in person, I'd never have gotten an answer about the glasses).Other than the just okay service, this spot was decent

Went here for snacks and drinks. It was street parking or you can go to the parking garage a few blocks away. It was pretty loud, staff were busy but nice. Food was decent and they had a full bar selection. Great for a quick drink.

Good Beer. (Got the Pilsner)Good Pizza. (Got the Mexican)Good/Quick Service. What more do you need?

Amateurs running a bar. Who are the people running this bar? Have they ever run a bar before? Based on the quality (or lack thereof) of the service, the answer is obviously, "No."Walk in. Sit at the bar. No one pays attention. They are all too busy talking amongst themselves or texting their BFFs to notice a lowly bar patron. Beer selection OK. Service sucks. Beer prices high for a "pint."If you are thirsty and there is no where else to go, maybe. If you are looking for a nice experience with good service, no way.

The atmosphere was very good for conversation. Service was good, and the beer selection was surprisingly large and varied. Was not expecting to eat there, but ended up ordering the bacon pizza which exceeded expectations. A nice blend of toppings on a thin crust, plus of course bacon bits as well.

The pizza here was excellent. The samosa was not a samosa. It was an oily mess. They should take that off the menu completely. It was an absolute disaster.The drinks were decent too.
