Happy Donuts

New ownership/ management. They gave this place a fresh and clean update. Different folks, but I appreciate the friendly and positive vibe living up to the name. I've visited a few times in the afternoon and they typically have a modest variety of donuts; previous management and other shops will have a wider variety of donuts to choose from even in the afternoon. Perhaps they manage their production more efficiently so they "sell out of the donuts during their busily morning and have less available in the afternoon. I don't mind since the donuts are well made, "fresh" and well priced below their competition maybe due to a more efficient production model. Would be interesting to see some more "specialty" creative donuts beyond a croi-nut but that's a wish for all the local shops.Clean and updated facility = 5 starsFriendly service = 5 starsGood value = 5 starsVariety = have to see what they have during peak hours.

I absolutely recommend Happy Donuts on De Anza Blvd. The store is under new management and the owners have done a remarkable job renovating. The seating area is comfortable, quiet and sparkling clean.The donuts are fresh and tasty, not painfully sweet. The sandwiches are outstanding...bacon, egg and cheese on a warm croissant. YUM. The onion bagels are perfectly done....no burnt onion! ...toasted w cream cheese. .YUM!Parking is a breeze in the large lot...even some shade! Entry and exit is safe and easy with a traffic light.

We've been going to Happy Donuts after swim class for the last few weeks, and this is an arrangement that everyone is happy about. The interior of the store is bright and airy, the menu is clear, and the donuts are yeasty. I think it's cool that you can pick a filling and they'll fill your donut for you.

A good place to hangout for a coffee & donuts. The atmosphere is friendly, a lot of natural light, & friendly staff. Highly recommend checking it out

The Coffee was amazing It's just what I needed I also picked up an amazing chocolate donut with crushed peanuts on top of it my sweet baby Jesus it's was an amazing blend of hot and dam the Coffee being the hot and that heavenly donut being the dam I suggest you try .......

They have cronuts!Fresh.Well-sized.Friendly. Go there if it is convenient. Not super spectacular for an out-of-the-way visit.

Service is really friendly, quick, and efficient. Location has a lot of parking. Prices were really reasonable for the area, and most importantly, the donuts were yummy! I bought the specialty mix box (which included glazed, old fashion, french cruellers, cake donuts, and apple fritters) which costs $22 for a dozen. Also got a dozen donut holes (plain, cinnamon, and glazed) for $3.50.

SO excited for the new Happy Donuts. Better donuts! Better pricing! Better ambiance! Better staff!I read about the re-opening on Nextdoor and stopped by to check it out. The gal at the counter was super friendly. I used to be a "Donut Wheel" guy for decades but when they raised their prices to be unreasonable, I had to stop going. The previous incarnation of Happy Donuts became my new donut place and it was just ok and the prices were a little better than Donut Wheel.But the NEW Happy Donuts is much better tasting (really good) and it has the best prices in the area. You can pay the same amount at Safeway for a bad donut, or get a really great donut at Happy Donuts for the same price!
