To be honest I don't usually like them just because they tend to be a little too flaky and dry for my preference, but curiosity got the best of me when I saw the flavors options here! I wasn't sure if the filling was going to be like bean paste; I'd say it turned out to be very similar to chinese "wife cake" filling, which has a slight chew to it. Flavors on display included rose, coconut, matcha, ube, black sesame, and chestnut. My favorites ended up being the black sesame and rose. They also have other handmade pastries available too!

Great place if you're into Northern Chinese pastries or baked goods. They also have frozen dumplings and buns but we mostly just get the pastries cause those are hard to find. They do sell out so be sure not to go too late.

Very authentic northern chinaware pastries! They have a big variety of all sorts. The frozen dumplings are tasty. They also make some items like beef pancakes fresh at the store. Though they don't have dining area. Wish they at least put some chairs for people who are waiting for the food.

Friendly and the mung bean cakes are a must as they are not too sweet and so soft! They are decadent and perfect with a tea or coffee

Stumbled in here while waiting for my order next door at Highland Noodles- turns out that brothers both own each establishment! There was a plethora of dumplings and traditional Chinese handcrafted desserts to choose from. I was also offered a few different samples of desserts that all brought back some fond childhood memories.I ended up buying a box of the red bean mochi, the peanut crunch pastry, and the beef biscuits (total came out to be a little over $37). The quality and freshness of the desserts really stood out on top of the authenticity to what you would get if you bought these in the streetcarts of China. I had to share with my parents and we all really enjoyed the snacks. Can't wait to come back and try some more!

Delicious pork shrimp and chive dumplings. That's pretty much all I get here so I can't speak to the other stuff they have but they've got a lot of options here!
