We are becoming frequent diners at Hajis and they are consistently excellent. The service is always friendly. Trust the staff recommendations and pairings. That said, here are somore things we have tried:Daal Makhni - it is a blend of three types of Lentils and they have Vegetarian and Vegan options. One of the wife's new favorites. Rich, creamy and delicious. Chicken or Shahi Goat Qorma - both are very good. My son got the chicken and I got the goat. The sauce is smooth and complex. A subtle spice profile that warms up in the mouth and has a bit of a kick. The dark green chutney makes it even warmer. The chicken is boneless. The goat is bone-in so you have some additional work there but a little bone adds to the flavor. We added the rice in to make sure we got every drop of the sauce. Pair it with the garlic Naan.The wife tried the Peshawari Chapel Kabab and was very happy with it. She explains it as a hamburger with extra spices. Ground beef, spices, served as a patty with a small salad.This expands on her usual Chicken Tikka Masaala entree. I am still partial to the Nihari (beef stew) but have also enjoyed the Chicken Biryani. It's all very good. Order with a cup of Chai or a Lassi.One note, don't come here expecting your food fast. Everything is done per order. This lets you customize your meal so you can get exactly what you want. It is absolutely worth the wait.Set aside some time and go with a friend. Sit, enjoy the tea and experience a great meal at Hajis.

What a great hidden gem of Pakistani/Indian food! Very authentic food, great ambiance, super friendly and fast service.Just what Willow Glen was missing for a long time, now!Will definitely return to sample more of your very authentic items.

Really good butter chicken! Garlic naan on point this place is open late. Great vibes.Mint soda actually has fresh mint chopped up.Mango lassi is a little watery but in house and not super sweet.

The Nihari, Goat Biriyani, and Naan was super flavorful. More than enough food for 2 people, lots of leftovers to look forward to!

What a wonderful addition to downtown willow glen! Chicken tikka masala is one of a kind. Definitely not had anything like it anywhere else in the bay. It's a standout item and a must try! The sauce is so thick and flavorful. The chicken is so succulent. The garlic naan along with it is also excellent. The chicken biryani was good too! I wish it came with yogurt raita as an add on/side addition to amplify the dish. The aloo tikki cutlets were delicious! Really soft and flavorful. They came with 2 green sauces on the side - mint and cilantro chutney. As the restaurant is in a soft launch, the service is slightly slow as of now. However as they expand and hire more staff I'm sure it will pick up! The ambiance is cosy and homely. It is a family run establishment and each dish is made with love and care. Definitely coming back to try the other dishes. Overall enjoyed the experience and highly recommend. Great new addition for Indian food in the area! Go check it out now.

Highlights from this meal included channa daal and samosas. The service was excellent. Our server mentioned that all the food is made from scratch, and the quality shows! Prices are also reasonable.

Ordered Nihari, Chicken Biryani and Chicken Seekh Kabab. Everything was well spiced authentic.

Excellent chicken wings. Cooked to perfection. Excellent service. Biriyani was odd with tomato. Good to eat though. French vibe ambience. Limited menu, I guess for soft opening. If you really want to have cooked vegetables not salad, not for you. Vegetarian options available with tofu. Only one desert available at this point hope they increase variety. Naan had sesame. I loved it.

We visited Hajis for the first time this past Sunday and it was really tasty. The people who work there are attentive and kind as well. Chicken Korma was my choice, and my husband had the Chicken Biryani. We shared somosas, and enjoyed mango lassis. Everything was delicious. I should have taken photos of the food but I gobbled it up too quickly! We will definitely be returning.
