I love go fish! Very fresh food and employees are always friendly. They have a variety of options and even recommended bowls if you don't want to make your own. They have one scoop of miso crab included with every bowl, count me in! The water they have is always nice and cold...get this it's FREE Personally, I love their gyozas, hand rolls and shoyu chicken bowl with a side of potato Mac salad Omg and the signature poke bowl with spicy mayo, chili sesame and shoyu garlic are so good. Seaweed is extra but it is so worth it! My favorite dry toppings are furikake and fried onion. They give you a discount if you're working at the mall or go to Stanford (for work or school) Overall, love the vibe of this place, it's not too noisy and perfect for chatting with friends or family.

I was in the area doing some Christmas shopping and I wanted a quick bite to eat so here I am.I ordered the regular poke bowl which comes with 3 different proteins. I got the salmon, ahi tuna, and seared albacore. I also got a miso crab for free, not sure why but I'll take it lol. The bowl itself was decent and it was well packed. It kept me full. The service was alright, nothing notable. This spot is located in the Stanford shopping area and across from it is a parking complex. Try it out if you like. :)

I wanted to like this place, but their hand rolls are weird. Instead of being served on a plate like at a normal sushi store, they come wrapped in plastic with "instructions" on how to roll them yourself. The rice is rolled up in a wrapper, and the nori is in a separate wrapper. It's as if they don't want to take the time to finish a roll. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to roll it properly. They have a nice assortment of choices for the hand rolls, the price is reasonable, but this is a bizarre way to serve a hand roll. Also, mariachi music in a poke restaurant?!

Ugh, the portions are even smaller now. Shrinkflation? They consistently are not filling their mini ice cream scoops with the proteins. My spicy scallop was smol. When I asked the cashier why I couldn't even get a full scoop he responded that I could get more for $4.

I love this place for poke! It's definitely pricier than the nearby Poke House in Town & Country and has smaller portions than them, but I like the premade mixes they have. I usually get the premixed sesame gomae shrimp, the veggie mix, and the seared shouyu salmon. Since the mixes are already flavored you don't need to even add sauce and it tastes delicious. I also recently discovered you can request all salad and no rice as the base so combined with the poke you can have a really savory salad! Anyways this place is great if you want a light and relatively healthy yet still tasty meal. The service is pretty fast when I go (albeit I usually go just before they close so they're never busy then). The inside of the restaurant is modern but warm. I also like how they have inside and outside seating so you can sit outside when it's warm.

We love this poke bar. They always have good ingredients and fresh fish. The portions are good. The plane is simple & easy, with indoor & outdoor sitting. They work fast so even if there is a line, it moves pretty fast. They also have reward program and we've gotten free bowls!

Stopped by for dinner after shopping, so it wasn't very busy. Although we were attended to right away, I guess this is one of those places where you have to know exactly what you want to order before coming here. The servers kept looking at each other and not answering our questions, or maybe they were new because they seemed forgetful and unsure of themselves. Right before they handed us our order we had to remind them to include the sauce on the side even though we clearly asked for it that way just moments earlier. But either way, the portion sizes were great, and the fish was flavorful, I really liked the miso crab. If I'm at Stanford again I'll likely go someplace else since there's plenty of restaurants around.

Thought this was a great local spot for poke. But the best part: a kids meal COSTS ONLY $7!!!! The kids meal included garlic/teriyaki style chicken, 2 little rice balls (onigiri style), green beans in a sesame sauce, and a drink! This is easily one of the best kids deals that I've ever seen!!! Absolutely awesome that Go Fish is offer such a great deal for kids--which actually could be enough for an adult. Poke bowls are also good (my teenager son had the maguro and salmon bowl).

Visited for a quick snack and picked up Spam Musubi with Tamago. I was surprised to see furikake inbetween the layers. The sauce was a little overpowering in sweetness for my taste and the tamago took away the taste of the spam. The ratio of rice to spam was off in my opinion. I would have liked a tad less rice and thicker spam. The tamago was thin like you would find on sushi. For a quick snack it was ok for $5. Establishment was clean, the service was quick, pleasant and professional.

I get takeout from here every once in a while after my friend put me on to this restaurant. This is actually my only experience with poke bowls, so I don't have anything else to compare this place to. I'd say Go Fish Poke Bar is a great choice if you're looking for a healthier option in the Stanford Shopping Center. I usually just get the normal bowl which comes with three different types of fish. I find it to be plenty filling, but if you're even hungrier, you can opt to get five fish. You're able to choose from a variety of predetermined bowls or make your own.My recommendation would be to definitely take the complementary imitation crab! It's so creamy, and I love it. Can't say I've ever had a problem with any of my bowls; the fish always tastes fresh.
