Fuze

This was a nice bar I came to for a work event. The inside is large and roomy, more of a club scene location. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. The decor looked fairly new, and they were attentive to everyone's needs. If I were into the clubbing scene I would come here, but it is a wonderful site to host work events. They have a nice little patio area and there is $10 parking right by. There are some local eateries like Scratch, and who wouldn't love that!

told me it doesn't matter if someone is disabled or for some reason can't drive, ppl who enter need a drivers license. had a government issued ID accepted by every institute/ venue in SJ but passport card was not valid with them. Every other venue accepted it except them !! :( so just something to make note of

The security/bouncer/door ppl did not let me in there venue because I had my passport card as my ID. Never have I ever had an issue using my passport card to get in a club/bar. They said it was a California law....bs Will never go back to this place!

We had a corporate event at Fuze 200+people. Jenny was instrumental in making it all happen from ordering caterers, DJ, room set up, AV Tech, casino tables, lighting - the works!! Tell Jenny what you want and she'll make it happen-with a great big smile! Her taco bar vendor is epic! Thank you Jenny and team!

They're a scam. They will charge randomly and the music was shit. Been here for years and mid pandemic they switch up. If you're buzzed they'll try to scam. Damian the security guard with glasses is a scam. Said after we paid the cover he recommended other places bc the vibe is whack. Said it was a promoter night but it was dead. No one was dancing and ppl looked bored. And the inconsistency of charge. Some ppl went in for free. Or if you didn't pay the charge and stood there for a while they let you in bc of how dead it was. Place is trash, go elsewhere. Dj sucks. This place trending down hill. Literally avoid.

We had our reception at FUZE after our LGBTQIA+ Wedding at the SJ Rosegarden. We initiated contact with Jenny after posting to a forum site looking for vendors who would work with us with our very tight budget as we were planning for ourselves. We were permitted to use outside vendors for food because of my partners severe nut allergy we had to ask for special handling and in most venues it is required to use their food with no guarantee of this. This is also a woman owned/run business, which was important to us. On the night of we arrived and Jenny was doing Bar service for our guests until he bartender arrived and she continued to bring us drinks to keep our merriment going. The Patio was softly lit, Jenny helps us put out paper lanterns and grab bags for our guests, and she gave us chips to hand out for the two rounds of drinks we were providing. She coordinated with our caterer for delivery and pick up. She even placed a security guard after a patron outside our party crashed out dancing line - every wedding has a crasher right? Our guests had ample seating and appeared to relax, and we danced to the DJ she booked for us, he contacted us for our music preferences and took playlists we made and created a hell of a dance party!We left feeling lighter than air and our guests all had so much fun, they even cried best wedding ever!

We had a two-day work event at Fuze. Jenny made sure everything was taken care of. She made time to meet with our IT techs, went over the menu, and reviewed the contract with me a few days ahead of time. While there were some bumps, the AC went out and the caterer was a bit late the first day. Jenny was ON IT! She had the AC fixed and made sure the caterer was on time if not early for our next meal. The room was great. Old building downtown with great natural lighting. Affordable parking right outside the back. It was a great experience and again, Jenny was great and communicated well throughout the planning and the event and was super flexible to our needs.

Bouncer was incredibly rude - wouldn't let me in because he wasn't sure if my ID was real... I asked what was wrong with my ID and he said "I can't tell if this is real or fake, but either way I'm definitely not letting you in." My friend pulled her ID out and asked if we could compare so we could see what the issue was, but he then yelled at us to move out of the way and pushed me aside more when I apparently wasn't far away enough. Got into other bars in dtsj with no problem after this.

Great time being at this location! Gio was the bartender at the time we went and gave exceptional service! Highly recommend for all those looking to have a good time!!

Gio made our night. Came in for food, but he did two cool bar tricks and we decided to get a round. Awesome night.
