We had our company holiday party at Fuego and it was a blast!I worked with Taylor to coordinate the event. She was so gracious, worked with our limited budget and was so accommodating with all our requests. We had a buffett package that included a glass of champagne and a DJ (shout out to SoundCloud.com/DJJFROMREDWOOD)!The food served for the buffett was excellent! We have many picky eaters and I heard nothing but positive comments about the food.We had the entire 2nd floor with our own bar. Taylor and Larry were working double time at the bar to make sure those drinks were flowing.Megan was working the room and made sure the guests had everything they needed.Thank you so much to the Fuego team since they were so patient with us and help make our event a successful one!

Driving home on Thursday Thursday night, I realize my fridge was pretty empty and figured I'd stop at the bar to grab a bite and watch a bit of the Thursday night football game there are a couple options on Murphy Street that have plenty of TVs and serve food, so I found myself at Fuego. They had a nice crowd for Thursday, not mopped but busy. There were several open seats at the bar. Old Fashioned: It hit the spot, had good flavor, and was a nice, albeit not a generous, pour. 4 Texas Burger w/ Steak Frites: This was a nice size burger, with a perfectly toasted bun. The bartender didn't ask me how I wanted my burger cooked, so it came out medium - medium well. This is a MESSY burger, with plenty of barbecue leaking out off sides and the patio was so juicy. It definitely hit all the flavor points for me. I hadn't had steak frites in a while, these were crispy on the outside and well seasoned 4 The bartender was very professional, and somewhat efficient. It appeared that he was also doing service bar, which may have resulted in me waiting a bit for my second drink and for a water refill. The food took very long time to come out, which he noticed and later comped my sandwich for me. Bar Service: Good, not great. 4 Overall, nothing wrong with Fuego, doing a good job all around. At the same time, there doesn't seem to be much personality in the place, which is something I tend to look for.

SALSA Thursday: upstairs they have salsa and some bachata music playing. They have a lesson before they start the social dance music. This means partnered dancing. Sometimes they have a live band and live dance performances. I can't say how the food is like here, but I recommend coming here for their night time club type events. My friends are fans of this place on other nights for club type music. They have good photo op walls such as the wings and the sequin shiny wall. Parking lot is in the back of the building. This is located in downtown Sunnyvale area.

False advertising! Fuego posted on their IG that they will give a free table PLUS champagne bottle for your birthday. Guess what I did? I went to celebrate my birthday, March 1st, but guess what? When I went there they said the promotion is only valid if you purchase a bottle for the free table and champagne? Isn't this false advertising? I even messaged the page that I'm going to celebrate my birthday and they sent a link for me to sign up! They never mentioned anything until I was there. This is so UNPROFESSIONAL because we were all excited to celebrate my birthday and then that happened. If I knew I had to buy a bottle before I went, I would've bought one but not if they told me last minute? Not okay guys, keep it organized and professional.

Came here for the Superbowl $20 cover fee, we were saying high enough to not be too crowded or ratchet. Loved how we were able to snag a booth around 2:30pm before the Superbowl. They have a wide selection of alcohol - my bf and his friend loved the Japanese whiskey was only for $18. We later ordered the wings, i really liked the mango habanero it was spicy and juicy. We stayed all the way till the end of superbowl around 8pm! The place was clean and the service was good and the food and drinks were good! Would be back

Food was super mediocre. Tried the calamari which was good, would recommend. The service was quick, came for the Tyson fight and despite them being so packed the waitresses made sure to check in often and move us around if we didn't feel comfortable with no problem. Lots of TVs to watch from and seating all around. Good place to come if you're looking to watch sporting events but not for food.

**sigh**I keep trying different places along this downtown Sunnyvale locale. Truthfully. All disappointing thus far. This place was no different. Yes the staff was friendly and that is all well and good, but can these places also have decent food that is not over fried. The shrimp was chewy and over fried. The sauce was way too citrusy and imo inedible. I then tried the chicken wrap. That too was over fried and I could not finish it. I was hoping that it would be light and refreshing but it was too heavy. The fries tasted like they were from a frozen bag, so maybe stay away from those too. If you're looking for a place that is loud and all about the beer and sports, then this is the place for you. Just avoid the food.

Came to Fuego for Halloween (10/31/24.) I'm giving it 2 stars because they had 1 security guy who was very rude to me and my other friends, yet would turn around and be nice to a mutual from our group just because they were "cool". Context: My friend and a few of her friends came to the club with me joining ofc, & at some point we decided to step outside to the back to take a quick smoke. I stepped away from the group to go back inside to use the bathroom & the Security guard began walking up to me and point behind me saying I needed to go back around to the front that I "wasn't using the entrance"... Just a quick question for the club, but what's the f*cking point of stamping people and confirming their entry if you're just gonna make them go back to the front just to enter an establishment they had just stepped out of????? Oh and the Security seen me walk out with my friends and we didn't stand too far from the door either. So make it make sense...Continuing, I even showed security my stamp letting him know I already been and that I had to use the bathroom which was literally not even 1 foot away from us, and he said "I don't care go to the front!". So I walked back to my friends, clearly annoyed, they had asked me what happened. Next thing you know, a girl from our group walked up and asked if she could come in and he GLADLY let her in but said we couldn't... which SHE even thought was dumb asf. After that I said "F*** this" and left. Which I'm not sad about, I'll never be returning to this establishment and couldn't care less too, even the crowd was a sad turnout. Went to a different club after & it was popping & I got a free drink from the bartender after she heard my awful experience with THIS establishment. She said she's a local and wasn't surprised about this place being cr*p either. Trust me when I say there's wayyyy better places than Fuego! Next time I'm for sure taking the drive to the club that I went to after. Only went to Fuego out of convenience, but it's not worth it. Oh and I wasn't drunk either, I was DD so I was sober, so definitely no "mixed signals".Also like to add: Their drinks are basically watered down and they're expensive asf. My friend needed me to try a sip because she said hers tasted like straight water and wasn't sure if she was really drunk or not, but no it tasted straight like watered down tequila...
