For the premium prices they charge, I expected near perfection. At 9 bucks each that was sadly not the case. Let's start with the main attraction: the sausage. I ordered a classic Chicago and a Coney. Both featured jumbo all-beef franks with a coarser grind, closer to a bratwurst than the smooth texture of a wiener. Crucially, they lacked much flavor. The toppings on the Coney were all out of proportion (see my photo). If it isn't overflowing with chili then what's the point? The mustard should have been an accent rather than the dominant flavor. And the onions were a bit skimpy to my taste.The Chicago had the same problem with the toppings ratio. I count on my favorite, the bright green piccalilli relish, to pack a sweet-and-sour punch. I was let down again. Both buns were warm but could have been toastier or, even better, steamed.I hated to say this because I'm an ardent supporter of local businesses, but this is a failed concept that doesn't deliver the gourmet hot dog experience. Originally called Umai Savory Hot Dogs, I think the extensive menu choices could be the trouble. If they focused solely on dogs rather than the additional choices of hamburgers and fried chicken sandwiches (their previous menu also offered noodles), they might be able to hit it out of the park

Some might consider it pricey, but otherwise the dogs here are pretty darn good. I had the truffle dog a few weeks back. The truffle flavor was subtle and there weren't any toppings or sauce that help cut through the saltiness of the dog (for example, mustard). I would recommend that you pass on this one. However the Chicago dog I tried more recently was great. They didn't go overboard with the toppings. I crushed the whole thing in a couple of minutes (plus being in the mall is just awful and I wanted to get out).

We needed a quick bite before a housewarming party so we decided to go with a sonora dog and fried mozzarella on a stick.The sonora dog was good, although the beef frank didn't have much flavor to it. The jalapenos and their house spicy sauce is what saved the hot dog overall. The bun could've used a toast or warmed up because a cold bun ain't it. The mozzarella stick was light on the cheese, and I think they put sugar on it because it was kinda sweet. As someone who likes savory, slightly disappointed. If you go this route, definitely order at least two mozz sticks.It was on a Saturday, so they were pretty busy. But I watched as my food sat on the line for a good few minutes before I could flag someone down. Maybe if it was hot n fresh, it would've tasted a bit better.The ordering process was simple-ish on the kiosk. The sonora dog and fried mozzarella on a stick was like $16, and don't know if I'd order again but if you are craving this type of food, it does what it needs to do.

Came here for the first time and really enjoyed the food.I got the build your own beef hotdog with mayo, grilled onions n American cheese.I also got a combo with fries and a diet cola.The resteraunt is in the dinning terrace at valley Fair.Plenty of seating .Food was delicious.The employees are really nice.

I just had to create a "build your ow" hotdog Mary was my cashier and expertly guided me through the process. The hotdog was super delicious and filling 10/10 would for sure recommend. I will diffidently come back when I visited Mayfield Valley Fair Mall

No one was in line, I ordered 2 corn dogs and 20 mins later still not done. I had to go back to work without my food because they were slow.

Today my friend ate at Frank and furter and this is what he said: she the lady earn three stars but I feel like they should ask about how the hot dogs and fries should be cooked. Because the meal was terrible and overcooked. We won't be eating there again. In the picture the fires are from Popeyes the guy working today did a really and job. The lady fixed the drink right though. Ambiance was typical mall restaurant vibes.
