EVGR Pub & Beer Garden

A newly opened "pub" near the graduate residences at Stanford. This place offers a variety of food items and beverages, but unfortunately they still haven't received their liquor license. The prices are reasonable and the food is okay. Tonight, my girlfriend and I had their Chocolate Chip Cardinal Cookie, which was disappointingly small for a dessert whose menu description promises it's enough for two people. It did come with a large scoop of ice cream tho and it was super yummy. Highly recommend trying it, but don't share it.I love the ambiance of EVGR Pub. It's located in what's called the Pavilion, under tall palm trees and with modern furniture. If you're coming at night, there's even a nice fireplace centerpiece on their patio to keep you warm.I hope that the vibe gets even better once they start alcohol and more folks start hanging out here post-covid.

Came here a few times and tried its burger (heard that the chicken burger is good, I'll try it next time!), curry chicken wings, and the pepperoni pizza (not very impressive). If you order pizza in the store you'd likely need to wait for a while. Also the pizza crust used to be thinner and tastier!

The sitting place is very relaxing with plenty of sunlight and tower high ceiling. The food price is low comparing in the same setting of restaurant in the Bay area.

Best beer selection in Palo Alto. The courtyard is big and has games like ping pong and cornhole. Food is great too!

I recently hosted an event for students here and it was fantastic! The space/venue, hospitality, service, and food were excellent. I could not get a hold of anyone by phone the week before our event since the pub was closed for summer hour and menu changeover. However, I was able to get connected with the pub manager via email and he immediately replied and was accommodating to my request to come 30 minutes prior to the pub opening to set up and order food. When I arrived the team started rearranging tables and setting up our space. The manager helped me order food and ensured the food was brought out right as our guests arrived. This event was very casual and we had only asked for help with ordering food in advance, but the whole team there went above and beyond our expectations! We would definitely host future events here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have an event or to just come to for a hangout!

Best bar/pub on Stanford's campus! Now that they finally have a liquor license, they sell a huge selection of beers, lots of rotating taps, all for fair prices--especially during happy hour! Okay food-wise.
