My friend and I love coming here for desserts. They have some great options and the atmosphere is just a great location to sit down and chat. Plus the service is nice.I ordered the Milo and my friend ordered the coconut dessert and they were both super yummy.

Dzui's used to be one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm in SJ for unique Vietnamese street food snacks & drinks but as of late, it's been the place I avoid going to the most because of how long it takes for the food to come out. I stopped by earlier after lunch hours hoping it would be a quick trip, and ordered a Banh Trang Tron and 2 drinks thinking it would take 10-15 mins tops. I ended up waiting over 30 mins, while witnessing them messing up so many other ppl's orders or worst, forgetting some orders too! They definitely prioritize taking orders rather than giving out the orders to waiting customers, and had drinks staked up on the counters, while the girl who were running drinks orders gave 2 ppl in front of me wrong drinks & had to redo them all over again. Another customer and I noticed that they also prioritized people whom they know and serve them before us.Although I like their food & drinks, waiting over 30 mins after ordering just for drinks is ridiculous.

Dzui's Cakes & Desserts in a cute Vietnamese cafe specializing in Southeast Asian pastries and desserts. The service was friendly and welcoming. Though, my drink took somewhat longer to make than most places. The ambiance is welcoming and floral-ly. There are lots of seats inside to relax. They also have some outdoor garden seating.Egg Coffee - thick, rich espresso with a creamy egg cream topping. Though, a bit too much ice.Congratulations on over 5+ years and your continued success.

I've been wanting to come here for awhile and try out the various different desserts and snacks they had and I finally got the chance to! i wish I could've got something with only durian in it but I opted for this mayo, taro, durian cake situation with pork floss on top. I had no idea what it was but it honestly took me by surprise on how good it was. The cake worked really well with the mayo and pork floss, combining both savory and sweet flavors together. I barely tasted any durian in it but it didn't deter me from the cake as a whole. I also saw ones with sausage on top as well. I would have to get that kind for next time. The cake was soft and airy an overall, it was delicious!

I stopped by Dzui's for some quick snacks and drinks. While the drinks were pretty good, I was a bit disappointed with the portion sizes. I ordered the durian milk tea, peach milk tea, and popcorn chicken. I called ahead to place my order, and the person on the phone was helpful. However, even after arriving and paying, I still had to wait about 15 minutes. I asked for no ice in my drinks, and they filled them reasonably. The popcorn chicken was super flavorful and well-seasoned.

Waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks on a Sunday. There weren't that many people when we've arrived, maybe 2 parties ahead of us, but there was a line after we left. Ordered the coconut coffee and egg coffee. I liked the consistency of the coconut coffee, sort of a slushy texture but I could not taste any coconut at all. Coffee part seemed diluted with the ice too. Egg coffee was bitter and too strong, without the egg adding any flavor to it. Ratio of coffee to flavoring for both drinks weren't great. Probably would come to try their pastries/food, but the drinks were not worth it for $15.50.

The durian smoothie was very flavorful and yummy. I enjoyed the little tapioca sago in it as well. With durian being so creamy and rich, this smoothie was definitely very filling and was a bit too heavy after a bowl of hu tieu, so it did take me a while to finish it, but I enjoyed every last bit. Looking forward to coming back and trying a durian milk tea or one of their other desserts. One thing to note is that it does take them quite a while to prepare any of their orders. Despite the store being empty, I had to wait 15 minutes for my smoothie to be made.

I usually come here for the durian madness, which is a rich durian smoothie or for the ah durian which is like a durian milk tea. I came closer to closing so they said they were out of both. I ended up getting the durian dessert which is basically a durian che. I think the flavor wasn't very strong, it just tasted like milk, not much durian flavor. I did really enjoy the jelly's in it. There was a pandan jelly and it tasted really fragrant, I think they use real pandan leaves. The drinks are pricey but durian itself is expensive so it's understandable. It used to be a really small shop but they expanded it so there is a lot of space and tables and chairs to enjoy your drink and chill.

I honestly think the baked goods here rival the ones I ate in Vietnam. when visiting Dzuis, you MUST get the durian crepes!!my other favorites:- Paos ($3): the paos are freshly made displayed on the left of the counter--i tried the quail egg paos and they were so delicious with a flaky buttery crust!- Xoi: the sticky rice was yummy and came covered in savory toppings- Roasted Corn: corn had an addicting glazed and chewy texture, topped with fried onions. i caught myself finishing the whole box on my own- Salted Egg Sponge Cake: we always have to get one when we stop by here!! so decadent and creamydrinks:Durian Madness - in terms of their drinks, i found it too sweet and lacking flavorOverall, dzui's is our family's goto spot for specific Vietnamese baked goods, though they can be on the pricier side. dzui's interior is very ambient and lively with a quaint outside area as well, great for catching up with people!
