Fun atmosphere with good food!I ordered the salmon Caesar salad and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Outdoor patio was lively.Service was great, and I loved their tie dye t-shirt so much that I bought one myself!

2.5/ 5 This place has potential but it's really hard to find it on prime days like Friday or Saturday. Super crowded and insanely loud chatter. People talk so loud here and there isn't any music or anything. It's like going to a sports event but all you can hear is the people around you. Doesn't make any sense, you don't have to blast music but something to drown out the pretentious conversations around me would have been golden. There were kids just randomly running around the already over crowded bar with parents no where in sight. They have pizza, burgers, ice cream, and beer/ liquor. I got a burger and it was very mid, nothing special. The wait for beer was pretty long. I got a pitcher of modelo for 27 dollars!! I didn't realize how expensive basic beer was but it's insanely over priced here. I get that most people come here because they're Stanford alumni or whatever but other than it being a "staple" for an already pretentious school, it's a hard pass. There's really no reason to come here unless the whole friend group is already here.

Love the ambiance- it can get crowded at times but nothing too crazy. Good beer and good deviled eggs, can't beat that. Staff is super kind as well.

I have been coming here now for about 40 years. I absolutely loved the Late Oasis grill Menlo. I miss the old Rossetti's aka the new new Alpine Inn. I hit the goose a couple times a year. They don't have steam clams anymore, which I miss. The cheese burger is very respectable, albeit a little lean. Today they had Pliny the elder on draft, which was amazing. I made a mistake and forgot to get the deviled eggs. Tummy feels good.

Great pub grub at reasonable cost! Menlo Park gem! First time chowing here and must say the pub grub is good and there's something for everyone here. Casual environment, great for sitting with a friend, relaxed environment enjoying some good bar food. It's been here decades, and more decades to come! Burgers, hot diggities dawgs, sammies, salads, crazy spiced egg thingy, pizza and much more! Excellent service, nice peeps serving up grub to citizens in need of some munching. I ordered the BLAT, spicy deviled egg and wings served crispy with no sauce. Everything was great and good quality. However, die hard fans don't get mad at me...I do not like the spicy deviled eggs. I understand it's a menu icon and especially with area locals but my kind of deviled egg is formed not goopy. I love me a good deviled egg but not as they have made. Otherwise, I loved everything. Stop by when you're in the area! Cheers!

This place is a hole in wall but not in a good way. It's super cold inside and doesn't have that inviting dive bar feel to it. Tried pizza and burgers and also not great. It's allright for grabbing a drink, but wasn't a huge fan.

IYKYK. Well if local. The Dutch Goose has been a Menlo Park institution since 1966. They never disappoint. But don't expect frills and fancy. This is a peanuts on the floor kinda place. You should always start with one of their super unique, delicious deviled eggs. Gooey, messy and like none you've tasted before. I've had their pizza which is always a staple. Burgers are great for those that eat meat. I don't, so the veggie or turkey burgers are my go too. They have an extensive menu with selections for everyone. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with an outside bar (The Duck Blind) with seating for those 21 and older. I truly appreciate they keep the bar kids free. I wish more restaurants would do the same. Super casual. Great food. Service has always been great. You do order from a counter and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready. So no table service. Highly recommend!!!

Dutch Goose had been around since 1966 (!!) and is one of the few peanuts-on-the-floor restaurants left in Silicon Valley. They attract a wide ranging mix of guests: students, families, techies, and VCs. Food-wise, they are famous for their spicy deviled eggs - an unusual recipe that's "goopier" than normal. Legend has it that Atari launched the first videos game, Pong, at The Goose. The food is classic pub fair. Nothing is great, nothing is bad. The cheeseburger is pretty good, the steak burger is disappointing. The grilled cheese is pretty good, the pastrami is (not surprisingly) disappointing. You'd think the salads would be disappointing but they are surprisingly solid. Prices are reasonable, despite being in Menlo. Oh, and the name? The original owner named it after the bar in Kansas City, MO where he had his first beer. Three stars for the food, four stars for the sentimental old school vibe

Really good food reasonably prices. We got the bacon burgers and sweet potato fries. Normally, I don't like sweet potato fries but these were really good. Fast service. A little cold inside so bring a sweater.

Sports bar with arcade and a back area that can be used for private eventsAlmost a dive bar like, dimly lit. They have a coin pool table and a few arcade games.Can get crowded with people watching the game or if they are hosting an event.They have a convenient sign that tells you the estimated wait time at the cashier.Burgers come with chips. Other sides are an additional charge. Burger was great but I felt the ratios for a single patty was off. Too much bread for my liking, overwhelmingly tasted like you were just eating a bread bun. Will definitely try again with a double patty burger.
