Drip & Melt

I've visited Drip & Melt at least twice. On my first visit I ordered the Meat Supreme Burrito. The burrito contains, sausage, ham, bacon with egg scramble, hash brown, salsa and American Cheese on a flour tortilla. On my second visit I ordered the Drippy Roast Beef. I subbed for sourdough (instead of Brioche) for my Beef sammy. The rest of the sandwich had the rest: house chipotle aioli, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, and American cheese. The aioli was surprisingly creamylicious!During both visits, I was served by the same, friendly cashier. There are plenty of seats inside (10-12) and some seats at the side patio. If you're looking for a decent value (Under $12 average) on a sandwich, Drip & Melt is your go-to spot for affordable sandwiches. Overall, you get what you pay for and the size and quality are sensible.On my next visit, I plan to get the 1 pounder sammy, called, the "Falcon" (roast beef, turkey, ham, salami, cheddar, swiss).

I've been craving a breakfast burrito and came across Drip & Melt when I was out and about this morning. I found easy street parking right in front and was surprised to find a good number of tables and bar seating when I walked in. They also have an outdoor patio situation on the side that another customer asked about. Placing my order was easy and it came out after a few minutes. Ambiance: The interior was clean and bright with a mix of seating. It wasn't particularly loud inside but it's right off of the street and the door was open, so it wasn't library quiet either. House burrito w/sausage: This was solid. Not the best I've had, and certainly not the worst. Throwing a salsa in the mix, using scrambled eggs and more of a homemade flour tortilla would have made this great. Hazelnut latte w/oat milk: This was good, although the hazelnut flavor was light which might be because the oat milk overpowered it. Their rest of the menu looks good so if I was in the area I would stop by again for breakfast or lunch.

Their sandwiches are so tasty snd priced well. Cute little local spot and there's outdoor and indoor seating. Got the DC Farm and the Reuben -- DC Farm was really delicious

This place is ok. Not great, not bad. There's nothing special but it's a quick place to satisfy hunger. Friendly workers though.

Literally my favorite panini from this shop. Time and time again will I keep ordering this. The breakfast burrito is a favorite from a friend of mine.

More to be desired. Came in today for lunch after working in the area and ordered the chicken pesto melt. They were out of the bread it normally comes on (no big deal) so I got the Dutch crunch. The sandwich was definitely on the slimmer side. I feel like I needed 2 of these sandwiches to be full. But he chicken inside was fine but definitely felt like it was pre cooked, grilled chicken strips just reheated. Like the kind you would get in a fettuccine Alfredo from Costco. This sandwich with a chips and drink ran $20 with tip. The only reason it isn't getting 2 stars is because the woman at the front was really nice.

Def check this place out if you're in the area or visiting Thornton State Beach. Their breakfast burritos are really good and a perfect breakfast after a run or hike down to the beach. Came out steaming hot and every bite tasted amazing. The people working are really friendly and the place itself is small and cozy

Rounding up from a 3.5. This place is good but nothing too special. I like how they offer all day breakfast and Dutch crunch as one of their breads. We got the house breakfast burrito and the DC Farm sandwich. The breakfast burrito is what you expect it to be -- eggs, sausage, cheese -- so it did its job. The sandwich is good too. I wish the bread was a little more toasted. The ingredients tasted really fresh. An overall decent place to get your sandwich fix

I'm a fan!Needed a quick and filling breakfast before heading out to a book fest in Millbrae so we decided to stop by Drip & Melt.The shop is easy to find - right on the corner across the street from 7-11. It was a Saturday morning and we found parking on the street right away. After perusing the menu, we were also able to order pretty quickly, no line.The shop itself isn't too huge but they've got plenty of indoor seating if you're looking to dine in for a quick bite. They've also got an outdoor patio which could be nice for the sunnier days.I opted for an iced latte and the sausage breakfast burrito. Great portion size for $9! It was a solid burrito and adding hot sauce gives it a good kick. Also, you could get a drip coffee for just $2 with the purchase of a breakfast burrito. Latte was good too, nothing too crazy but then again, the focus here seems to be sandwiches.Overall, a solid stop of quick budget friendly lunch/breakfast. I'll def have to return again during lunch time to try their melts.

Our group stayed at an AirBnB in the neighborhood for a week and this little cafe quickly became our favorite spot on the block. Throughout our stay our mornings consisted of breakfast sandwiches and coffee which always hit the spot. We weren't the biggest fans of the sweeter latte type drinks, but their coffee and espresso were solid and the bagels the sandwiches came on were always tasty. The staff was always super nice and the food was made fresh after ordering. We never got to try their lunch sandwiches but they had a ton of combos to choose from featuring Boar's Head meats if that's what you're craving. Thankful this place was so close by. Give them a visit if you're ever close by and in the mood for a quick little something.
