Okay 2018 here we go again. So I found this place by accident one day this year while looking for a place to get my munch on before a study session @ 7 trees library on Cas. I honestly DID not have high hopes for this place because the AREA is not all that nice. Screaming fumey buses, gibberish glitch garbage trucks, abandoned broken into cars, stinky-fishy (not sorry) asian meat markets FTW. Sammy L where you at!? Anyway... I eat traditional home-cooked Mexican grub at least 300 times a year (again a lucky one here) so I am very picky when it goes to eating out Mexican munchies. Extremely hyper-sensitive picky. De-le-zi-as taqueria style eats, but no tacos or mariscos, burritos or flautas; Just tortas to-ma-les and a buttload of pan dulce, pastel (cake) and abuelita style hot chocolate. I usually get the milanesa breaded style steak torta no mayo no jalapeno water/ a carrot juice to top off my hangry belly. They serve pavo, turkey tortas that's different. So I guess what makes it easy for me to communicate here with the staff is that I speak fluent spanish because that is my first language. They always get my small order right, I get a generous and awesomely breaded torta, bottled water and pan dulce and tip for about 10$. Say what? Don't come around here unless you're brave like me. They have two tables outside and no seating space inside and always some random dudes drinking in the morning. ha. I even cracked a joke to soften up the mood. hahaha. oh San Jose how I love you so much!Yelp burst.

If you are looking for some fresh baked croissants this is the place to go especially early morning trust me they are delicious and many more different options for breads

Bf was craving pan and I told him about this place around his house since he's never been. We usually go to Ortiz or Mexico Bakery, but I wanted to try a new spot. Delizias has great selections even at night! The pastries taste great and are cheap! We got like 15-20 pieces of pastries for $14! What a steal. If you're ever in the neighborhood getting groceries or driving past, stop in and get your panderia fix!

I randomly stopped there to take pan dulce to family I was visiting and wow what a wonderful surprise. I picked up the bread at 11am and it was still so soft and fresh the flavor is top notch. I had recently had the "best" pan dulce best where I live and this bread was WAY better. I highly recommend the fresh pan!! I can't wait to try other things on their menu!

This place is my wife's and I new favorite go-to spot for a torta. If you are in the mood or looking for a place for a torta milanesa, this is it! Their bread and carne is delicious. For only $7.50 you'll get a huge torta that with only eating half of it you'll get full. The torta milanesa is breaded steak. Includes, mayo, lettuce, purple onion, jalapeños, and avocado. They also have fresh juices, a bit pricy though but then again it is all natural freshly squeezed. Would recommend

This place is a hidden gem! I would have never walked into this place if a friend of mine had not offered me a concha first! Came in today to grab some conchas, tamales, and champurrado! Conchas are soft and sweet. I had a tamal of rajas y queso and one of puerco. Super delicious and warm. The masa is soft and tasty.I don't like to commit to foods easily and asked the lady at the front how was the champurrado. She said it was delicious if I would like to try it. So I did! It was warm, sweet, and a good consistency. You self serve the champurrado. It poured out a little too slow for me but wasn't a deal breaker. Customer service was diligent and welcoming.Recommend to anyone craving delicious Mexican sweets and foods.

i've been going here since i was a little girl, i love this place!! the tres leches cups are a 10/10

Their tortas have mediocre meat and the rest of the veggies/sauce don't make up for it. Would not recommend.

Everything is delicious. Hidden gem. Great service. My husband and I come here often. Bread is always fresh.

Just passed by to get myself a torta, and the way they make them is better than any other mexican bakery or restaurant I've ever eaten at. Keep up the good work. I got a concha too, hoping to come back for some more bread next time.
