DeeLee Cakes

I just had my chocolate pound cake with cream cheese frosting delivered tonight and I was SO excited to dive into it. The cake was beautiful with its lovely decadent cream cheese frosting. The cake itself is nice, moist, and not too sweet. The cake was HEFTY! The hubby and I are going to be having pound cake for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the next few days! My favorite part is the pairing of the buttered pecan topping with the cake and frosting. What a divine combination of flavor and fun experience for my mouth! So very excited to try other cake offerings from DeeLee Cakes. Also, have you seen DeReath, the baker-in-action? She is SO ADORABLE! Love that smile and you can tell she loves her craft and puts that love into her cakes :) Support small business, support local!

I received the chance to taste three of DeeLee Cakes recently and fell in LOVE with the sweet potato pound cake.The cake itself was FULL of flavor. Initially I thought it would taste like carrot cake, but I think it reminded me more of a pumpkin pie or loaf. It was perfectly sweet and packed with those delicious fall spices we all love (tasted like cinnamon, nutmeg, mayyyybe ginger. But I'm no expert.).⁣BUT THEN THAT FROSTING!!!!! It's a cream cheese frosting with BUTTER CRUSTED PECANS!!! Straight heaven.⁣I REALLY enjoyed that same frosting on the chocolate cake, and the chocolate cake w/ baileys glaze was also out of this world. The baileys flavor was strong, sweet, and paired perfectly with the chocolate.

I was at a Thanksgiving dinner and had the pleasure ofeating a slice of cake that was so good, I didn't ask what kind of cake it was? I just knew I had to have more!I was blown away~I had to have one just for me, so I got the 411 and ordereda lemon pound cake for New Year's Day 2022, that was heavenly! I didn't want to hurt myself, because I was well on my way of eating slice after slice, after slice etc. I shared small slices with family andfriends, it was on~ From now on, I will order my sweets from; DeeLee Cakes. I bought my first cake today and WOW. My partner is not easily impressed. We agree that the we rarely find a cake this moist. Every bite was a reflection of the care that went into this made-from-scratch cake. I highly recommend that get a pound cake. Stop by the store for ice cream to complete the down home experience. This might be come a monthly thing for me--it's that good.

Ordered the cake on Saturday for my moms birthday. And she loved it! Special with her cup of coffee in the morning. It tastes amazing!! I ordered the sweet potatoes pound cake and it was great! If you like the pumpkin pie taste or cinnamon and spices this is your cake! To me it tasted amazing and I loved it and will definitely order again! Thank you so much!!

I got one of DeeLee's cakes for Fathers Day this year and it was AMAZING. And also very dangerous -- we finished it WAY too fast for how huge they are. Wonderful with coffee in the late morning or as a small after dinner treat. Such a lovely woman too. :) Thank you!

I had a great experience ordering a sweet potato pound cake from this shop! I had a last minute request and DeeLee Cakes was able to accommodate and make the cake in time when I contacted her. The cake itself is HUGE. You get so much for your money and you're able to support a local business in the process. It tasted amazing and I was able to try a leftover slice the next morning with coffee and it was heavenly. My friends loved the cake as well and they were all asking who made it. Absolutely love the cake! Sweet person who was understanding I couldn't pick up the night before and accommodated me!The cake was so good. The pound cake wasn't overly sweet which I love! The cake itself was soft and the cream was delicious. My boyfriend and I devoured it ourselves the day of! I got the whipped cream pound cake but next time I definitely want to try the others! The cinnamon rolls were perfection! They were also the biggest cinnamon rolls I have ever seen! DeReath was able to squeeze me in right before Christmas and helped me keep a special family tradition during the pandemic. She also made it easy to pick up the cinnamon rolls and kept us updated on when they would be ready. So grateful for such a kind hearted baker and wow were they delicious! We had leftovers the next day and cut them in half and warmed them on a griddle with a little butter and cinnamon. So good! Can't wait for another special occasion to order again, thank you so much DeReath!
