Good food alert! We wanted traditional Vietnamese food for our baby shower, and Dai Loi did a phenomenal job. I ordered through the phone about 2 weeks in advance since I didn't want them booked out on the Saturday of our event. I paid a deposit electronically, and then paid the rest upon arrival/pick-up. Their prices were so reasonable for the quantity you get. They have small and large tray options. Here's what we ordered: banh beo, goi cuon com thit (spring rolls with shrimp and pork), uot thit (rice rolls), cha gio (egg rolls), mi xao chay (vegetarian stir fry noodles), and com chien thap cam (combination fried rice). Everything was so delicious! We had a lot of leftovers, and our guests were eager to take almost all the food home. I love that they also have vegetarian options. The service was awesome. They had all the food ready and packed on time. The owners also helped us load everything in the car. We plan to order from them at our next gathering!

I've gotten catering here a couple of times already. Egg rolls - 4/5. Decent, but does not come with red dipping sauce. Crispy. I'll come here with the service is slow at Cha Ca Long Phung or if they're sold out. Chow mein noodles combo - 2/5. They used to be the thick chow mein noodles, but the last time I got it, it was the skinny one. I think the quality is ok on this. I don't like the thin egg noodles. Easy to order. English available. You can show up, order in person and pay cash/zelle. Hours: Open for pick up on holidays 8am-5pm.

This review is for the nem nuong (red ball). They changed the recipe from what I remember and this one tastes sooo much worse. Like it tastes like old meat and was uneven in how it was cooked. I wished we could've had a sample before they subjected us to this torture.I ended up throwing it out because family was scared of getting food poisoning from it. Please watch out of ordering this. It is not the same as it was previously.

Ordered catering from here for a baby shower. We came into the shop about a month before to check out the menu and place the order. Make sure to keep the receipt for the day of pickup. The food was brought out and well presented as well as kept warm. Would definitely order from here again!

I've been meaning to try this place for months but I always came too late and all the platters were always sold out.I was lucky this time and was able to snatch a $5 platter of banh beo. It was yummy. Tasted just like all the banh beo platters I had as a kid.They had banh cuon as well!

I ordered the nem nướng balls and they were awful. Not what I use to remember. The taste to the texture. It didn't taste like nem nướng at all. I tried to refry it cuz I was thinking it was undercooked. The color isn't what it used to look like. That didn't help either. I should have tried 1lb first instead of diving in for 2lbs. Ended up throwing it away.

We ordered catering here for around 40 people. Everything was really delicious! They had the order ready and securely packaged when we arrived for pick up. The fried egg rolls were amazing! We also loved their spring rolls, filled with fresh shrimp and veggies. It's a small, family owned shop with minimal indoor seating. The owner and her daughter were so kind and helped us carry the order to our car.

My go to spot to order banh uot thit nuong! This dish is always a hit at parties. Make sure you call before to order! A childhood dish for me! The flavor and consistency is always so good!

In October, I made the mistake of not hitting up Đại Lợi the same time I went to Chá Cá Long Phung (down the block) for a Bánh Bèo comparison. A month later, after lunch at nearby Nam Giao, I made the point to stop by Đại Lợi, a Viet deli shop for lack of better words. Takeout only. No dine-in. The water fern cakes were soft, supple, and chewy. Probably the best deli takeout bánh bèo I've had in E Man Jose thus far. -- Bánh Bột Lọc: The tapioca dumpling wrapper was dense and had hardened but I really liked the savory pork and shrimp filling. They tased better when I warmed them up with a wet paper towel in the microwave.-- Bánh ít Trần: The sticky rice dumpling with mung bean filling was really dense but like the bánh bột lọc, tasted better after warming it up.-- Đậu Xanh: The mung beans were savory and nutty; not sweet like Chá Cá Long Phung.-- Nước Chấm: Hit all the right salty, sweet, and tangy notes with a good amount of fish funk. Slightly translucent so you can tell it's not overly thick. The ground pork and wood ear mushroom filling was savory and with the nước chấm for dipping, it's SO GOOD! Minor gripe: The bánh cuốn is only filled on the ends, not in the middle. With inflation, I guess they have to cut costs somehow but texture and taste, very solid for deli takeout. If you're in the E Man Jose doing a Viet food crawl or *cough cough* Viet coffee crawl, def stop by Đại Lợi to bring some goodies home!

Got party tray bánh cuốn thịt nướng. It's pretty good and prices is very reasonable. Parking is okay. I do recommend this place.
